Fantastic hotel! The staff is very nice, helpful and knowledgable. The room was perfect as well as the facilites (lounge, pool and gym). Breakfast is super good (don't book without it), includint all westerner and a wide range of Asian food all over the continent. The hotel building also has a shopping mall with a big supermarket inside. It is also facing the beautiful Kandawgy Lake. I'll stay here every time I visit Yangon! šš²š²

From the moment the taxi stopped at the front door, the hotel staff greeted with the warm smiles and promptly opened the entrance door. As I walked to the reception, I was welcomed with a refreshing juice, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. A special thanks to Front Office Manager Zar Zar Tin Win and her team for giving me a beautifully renovated room with a stunning view of the Shwedagon Pagoda. The room was immaculately clean, the new bed felt like a cloud, and the combination of both ceiling and wall showers was a delightful touch.
Overall, the senior management, front desk, and housekeeping teams were incredibly friendly, caring, and attentive, making my stay feel truly like home.
Thank you again to the ParkRoyal Yangon Team.

Southeast Asia's oldest boutique hotel, the most colonial-style hotel I have ever lived in, very British, first run by the British Armenian family that created Raffles, directly opposite the Yangon River, next door to the British Consulate, the location is OK In short, it is still a good experience, especially considering the price/performance ratio, it should be a cheaper lhw hotel. In two cases, it is not particularly recommended to live. One is that the English is not good, and the Chinese stomach is really not coming to this place. The bar is ok. The hotel cannot print Chinese Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
Hotel is good. The carpet was dirty. You can smell the cigaretteās smell in your room from other rooms, which is not nice if you donāt smoke. Breakfast was good. Sometimes the electricity was off for a minute.
The facility was clean and I felt very comfortable. The gym is large, and you can also use the sauna and jacuzzi.
The view of the courtyard and poolside from the breakfast venue made me forget that I was in Myanmar, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing time.
However, perhaps because it had just reopened or because there were few guests, the breakfast options were few and poor, and some of the items were used from the previous day and were not delicious.
I was very disappointed because the rating would be halved if the breakfast level was low in a 5-star hotel.
I hope it will be improved in the future.
Old luxury hotel - resort style big pool, great breakfast, spacious rooms. They have to renovate it, but it still very nice.
Ah, by the way. Its hard to find some restaurants nearby - be prepared for taxi for any case. But they have 24h convenient store on first floor.
And - its very strange for the hotel of this level - there was a situation with exec lounge. It was in my booking but they refuse to give me access: āIt was an error in room descriptionā. Guys, its really not my trouble, right? I wasnt in the mood for hard negotiations, so... let carma decide ))) And they have no local shuttle bus (yes, there is an error on hotel site). Heh )))

IIsfp-Solo TravelerEverything was goodšššššā¦The only downside was that you might feel too lazy to go out or sightsee because the hotel room was very comfortable, and it was extremely hot outsideš ā- You could just stay in your room, enjoy the view, go for a swim, or have a spa dayā¦.
The breakfast buffet had a lot of options, and they even changed some of the dishes the next day. My favorite was the saunaāit was really good. I also loved the hot shower, as it didnāt turn cold even after being on for a long timeš
The massages were great, and the prices were reasonableā¦. The staff were very helpful and kindā¦. There were occasional power interruptions, but they only lasted a few seconds since the hotelās backup power kicked in immediatelyā¦
+ Although itās a bit far from the tourist spots, you can take a Grabāitās affordable and the best option since it gets really hot during the dayā¦.
TTrip.com local guidesThis is honestly the best hotel in Myanmar. Travelled the world but honestly still the best hotel Iāve ever stayed in ever. Itās easily worth $500 a night. The housemaids are very detailed in what they do and everything is just so nice and in place. Just Perfect here.
