My husband and I stayed here from September 9 to 10 last for our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a medical appointment down the road so it was a convenient location. Here are some of our observations where they could do better. 1. l use a cane with my disability, and there was no luggage trolly in the lobby when we arrived. I had to haul two heavy bags on one arm while using my cane with the other hand. 2. I checked to see that there was body wash for our evening and morning showers and the bottle was completely empty. The housekeeping staff hadn't refilled and we had to find someone to put a new bottle into the shower. It's a good thing I checked and didn't get a rude awakening in the morning. 3. The picture in the room looked as though something was thrown at it and went down the glass. There were two streaks and it was very disgusting. Obviously, the cleaning had not been done properly in the room. 4. Nowhere on the website was there mention of a continental breakfast so we were quite surprised that there wouldn't be your typical eggs, bacon, sausage. Etc. It was very disappointing. We only found out because we got on the elevator, and there was an ad taped to the inside of the elevator. At the time of booking, all it said was free breakfast included. 5. The shower-head sprayed all over the ceiling when it was turned on, so we had to put a face cloth over it to contain the spray 6. The microwave glass tray did not rotate so when you put something in there, it didn't heat it up evenly. It actually burned the item. 7. Bathroom light fixtures were covered with caked on dust. I wrote my name in one of them. It's Obvious that the housekeeping staff does not pay attention to cleaning - only does minimum.

We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Downtown Toronto! The hotel is conveniently located near the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The only small downside was the hotel parking, which was a little pricey at $40 per day. However, there are plenty of cheaper parking options nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!

The shared shower room is *too* shared, meaning there's nowhere to put your personal toiletries. A simple breakfast is provided in the morning, which is nice. I liked that the beds have curtains. It's great that shower towels are provided for free. There's a 24-hour convenience store right out front. However, there are homeless people around 24/7 next to it... It's unnerving when they all stare at me at once... I felt scared both day and night. Some homeless individuals stand by the convenience store door, holding it open, then demand money after opening it for you. I know how to open a door myself, and I never asked them to open it for me... I was sharing a room with someone from a country known for poor hygiene, and they had a strong, unpleasant body odor. It was truly agonizing. My request to switch rooms was not processed, apparently because there were no other rooms available.

Facilities: The hotel is quite old. There are many restaurants around. The hotel is connected to the water park. It can be played with children. But it is similar to the water park in the big city in China. Hygienic: The room is very clean, but the water in the water park is not very clean Environment: The hotel is old. Parking is charged. There are many restaurants around but parking is more difficult. The hotel room is particularly poorly soundproofed. There is a stupid person in the middle of the night. It is very noisy to shovel snow outside, but what kind of bicycles do you need at this price? Service: Basically no service, luggage can not be stored, but! For this price, don't ask for any bicycles.

The front desk staff are very friendly, the hotel facilities meet the requirements for tourism and leisure, and the location is excellent. There are shuttle buses at the door to various attractions in the Niagara Falls area, and it also provides direct access to the bus station connecting to downtown Toronto, making it an ideal choice for your travel itinerary.

First of all, thank you for the free upgrade. The views from both the bedroom and the living room were excellent, and the space was large enough for a group of friends to relax, especially with the poker and foosball tables. The location is also great, right in downtown. However, the shower amenities could be improved, particularly the shampoo and body wash, and the toothpaste looked quite messy (fortunately I brought my own). The soundproofing is also not ideal, as I could hear the couple in the next room talking, and I felt a bit uncomfortable using the bathroom and blow‑drying my hair after coming back late from a concert. The check‑in time is quite rigid at 4 p.m., although they do allow you to delay check‑in until 7:30 p.m. I was initially confused because I waited for over 10 minutes at the original building (before the upgrade) and wasn’t sure if the receptionist would come to pick me up. Once we met, though, the receptionist was very friendly and clearly explained the amenities and check‑out procedures. Overall, despite the strict rules and minor issues, I really liked the room and had a happy stay.

Great location, but the room was a major bait-and-switch. We booked a ”river view” room for our honeymoon, but the room we received was worlds apart from the promotional photos. Our view was 85% parking lot and 15% river—and at night, the river view was completely non-existent. I understand showcasing the ”best room” online, but it felt misleading. Additionally, the Jacuzzi was located in the bedroom rather than the bathroom as pictured, meaning we froze walking across the room to the shower to rinse off. We had notified the hotel weeks prior about our late check-in and our honeymoon. When we approached the front desk about the room mismatch, the staff member was understanding and helpful, but offered an Applebee's breakfast voucher to compensate. When we refused, they told us ”it was not a big deal” to just accept it. While I know they were trying to help, that specific phrasing felt dismissive given the situation. Pros: > Location: Incredibly convenient, located right near the Falls Incline Railway. >Service: Check-out was extremely fast and seamless.Amenities: General hotel amenities were okay. Cons: >Vouchers: The hotel dining vouchers are pretty underwhelming. We used one for Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse and it still came out to almost $200 CAD, which in my opinion, was not worth it. >Room Reality: The layout and view were huge letdowns compared to what was advertised. The light switch for the bathroom in our was was also wonky -- If you move it wrong it doesn't turn on. Overall, the location is great, but don't expect the rooms to look exactly like the photos on the listing.

Got so lucky to have this room which was perfect to spend time to catch up with my friends! Suite room was amazing and the cleaner was the most professional one we have ever met! The location is just right in front of the Harbour and likely 5 mins from Union station! We definitely stay again
