Best Yangshuo Hotels

"We absolutely loved the Yangshuo Ancient Garden Hotel. Sofia at reception spoke perfect English and was incredibly helpful with her advice on where to visit. The hotel is about 15 mins from the centre of town (West St) - just an AUD$3.50 DiDi ride (loads of DiDi cars everywhere). The hotel and its grounds are in the rural countryside, sitting amidst the beautiful karst hills. The room itself was super clean and beautifully appointed. This is an exceptional 4 star hotel. You don’t need 5 stars when you have such a wonderful hotel and it’s setting. Don’t be alarmed by the rustic entry from the street. Once you are through the front gates, you will not be disappointed. We used the free bicycles from the hotel to ride along the river to the Dragon Bridge. The views of the karst hills next to the river and the rice fields were exceptional. This was one of the experiences that we will treasure. It was absolutely worthwhile staying in this fabulous in Yangshuo for a night after the river cruise from Guilin (we have been to many places in the world and the scenery along the river was the absolute best that we have ever seen - take a 4 star boat and you will also have memories to last a lifetime). The room was extremely clean and large - we had a family room with a massive king bed and a queen bed). Bathroom was really nice. Free drinks in the room’s minbar. Good breakfast was included, along with afternoon tea. There’s a good sized pool. Catch a DiDi for about RMB160 back to Guilin. Save yourself the trouble of looking for another hotel in Yangshuo. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience."

"This tea-themed hotel I stayed at was a real surprise! From the very beginning, I felt incredibly caring—the owner even provided pick-up and drop-off, saving me a lot of trouble finding my way around. The hotel's ambiance far exceeded my expectations, far superior to the city-friendly chain hotels I've stayed in before. The elegant atmosphere of tea culture permeated every corner, making it incredibly comfortable. Even more unexpected, the hotel even had a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing on my downtime. The breakfast was also highly recommended; it was quite substantial and featured a variety of local snacks that were incredibly delicious. Plus, you can buy tickets directly at the hotel, which was quite affordable and very convenient. My only regret was that I was so caught up in the experience that I forgot to take photos to document it, so I could share them with everyone. Overall, I highly recommend it! Also, if you're planning a bamboo raft ride from Jinlong Bridge, definitely book here, as the Jiuxian Pier is right next to it, allowing you to catch your ride at 7:30 AM and return for breakfast."

"Great hotel! I got a room on the fifth floor with great view and balcony. The breakfast had Chinese and Western options, and fresh fruits. Enjoyed my stay here. Location is good, it is easy and fast to grab didi wherever you are planning to go. The host is very kind and helped my to plan and book different activities. The rooms are spacious and they clean them everyday. Best place to relax."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the facilities are amazing: from the clean and refreshing pool to the comfortable rooms, everything exceeded our expectations. What makes this place even more special is the unbeatable location. The view of the mountains and river is simply breathtaking, you can sit for hours just admiring the scenery. Another highlight was the boat service that takes you directly to West Street, the busiest and most vibrant street in town. It’s such a unique and convenient experience! "I would highly recommend this room to anyone who wants to really appreciate the spectacular views from this hotel. There's a private terrace with a swing that looks directly onto the mountains, a cold bath, sun loungers with parasol, outside seating, glass floor area and mirrored floor. The room itself has floor to ceiling windows, and windows in the roof with electronic blinds. On clear nights you can lie in bed and look up at the stars, and when it's raining the whole scenery becomes misty and atmospheric. The room is on the 5th floor with no lift, but the staff were extremely accommodating for me (I have an injury to my knee that made the stairs difficult), bringing my cases, food and drink to me whenever I needed it. It made my stay so much easier, and less painful. They were also great for recommendations and helping to make bookings."

"We absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, the staff were friendly and could speak English, and the food at the hotel was amazing. This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality."

"Our stay at LS Hotel was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, Victoria and Rong went above and beyond to take care of everything for us. The service was on another level, friendly, warm, and incredibly efficient. They arranged shuttle transfers everywhere we needed to go, helped us plan activities, and even secured great discounts for shows, viewpoints, and quad bike tours. The attention to detail was amazing! One of the highlights was the beautiful surprise they prepared for my girlfriend’s birthday delicious cakes and a beautifully decorated room. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the moment even more special. The room was spotless, the views from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking, genuinely one of the most unique and stunning landscapes we’ve ever seen. The whole place feels magical. The team responded instantly to every request, and even after we left, they arranged to send back a piece of clothing I forgot, truly unbelievable service! "I recently had the pleasure of staying at Li Yu Hotel West Street in Yangshuo, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself is perfectly located just a short walk from the famous West Street, making it an ideal base for exploring the charming old town, vibrant night markets, and scenic spots along the Li River. Despite being so close to the action, the hotel maintains a calm and peaceful atmosphere, which is perfect after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are stylishly designed, clean, and spacious, with modern amenities and touches of traditional Chinese décor that give it a unique local charm. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, and thoughtful extras like complimentary tea, water, and quality toiletries. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay, which made it easy to plan my daily trips. "Highlight 1: The boss knows Yangshuo very well. He almost knows everything about food, drink, entertainment, the history of scenic spots, etc., and can answer some questions for customers. Highlight 2: Buy some tickets from the boss, which is dozens of dollars cheaper than buying on the official website. For example, Impression of Liu Sanjie Highlight three: There is a balcony in the room with a good view. The room is quite large and spacious. Highlight 4: The room has large floor-to-ceiling glass, and you can see the lovely hills, which makes you feel good. Disadvantage 1: There is water on the floor in the bathroom area, making it inconvenient to use. Disadvantages 2: The room facilities are average. I personally feel that the storage area for storing things is not large enough and the bedding is average. Disadvantage 3: Bathroom cleanliness is average"
