The staff at August are incredibly attentive and not only warm and welcoming but also frequently share climbing tips and experiences with guests, creating a truly homely atmosphere. A special highlight is that it's also pet-friendly, so travelers with pets can confidently choose this spot. Furthermore, the rooms are immaculately clean and tidy. Every detail reflects a strict adherence to hygiene, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay. The location was a smart choice this time around. While not directly on West Street, its setting provides a welcome escape from the crowds and noise, offering a more peaceful and pleasant experience. The area has a rich local vibe, and getting around without traffic is surprisingly convenient. Plus, being close to the old town not only makes it easy for locals to visit but also allows tourists to more easily explore the local culture and lifestyle. IIftekherHere i am trying to concise my writing as there are lot of good things to say about this homestay. The location is unbeatable, very close to pier so the tourist like us who came from Guilin by lee river cruise can come easily to the hotel. The taxi stand close to pier is a lil stressful. Just call the number of the hotel. the landlady Rachel will tell the driver where to come. it should take only 15 yuan. The Back door of the sweet small hotel is the gateway to west street( walking street). Rachel's husband took me to a bank for money exchange as i was getting difficulties to use my wechat pay. Rachel ordered online food for me as i requested, arranged personal sedan for daylong outing and what not. there are free fruits in the lobby. And lot of cats and a dog which amused my child a lot. The family room is so big and child friendly.But don't expect any view from rooms as that is a city area.

The hotel manager didn't talk english but we talked via WeChat and everything went smoothly, he recomended us some trips to do in the Yangshuo area and restaurants to eat. Very recomendable. The rooms were big, clean, confortable and have AC. Totally recommended. And has a mirror floor on the attic for everybody to take pictures! I almost forgot, there is a washing machine!

I just had to write a review for this wonderful hotel. My stay here was absolutely perfect, largely thanks to one person. First off, the location is ideal. It's located very near West Street, which made it incredibly convenient to grab food, check out the party scene, and easily hail a DiDi. You're right in the heart of the action without being in a noisy building. The room itself was so cozy and comfortable. After a long day of exploring, the hot shower was a lifesaver, and I appreciated that they provided complete toiletries—one less thing to worry about packing! Now, for the highlight of my stay: the guy at the reception. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. He truly went above and beyond to help me. One evening, he even sat down with me over a cup of tea and helped me plan my itineraries, offering fantastic local tips. He arranged carpooling services for me, which made getting to the various sights so much easier and more affordable. My entire stay in Yangshuo was smoother and more enjoyable because of him. That guy is 1000% great! Kudos to him and to the hotel for having such a fantastic employee. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

GGuest UserI really liked the hotel, the people at the reception were very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and cozy, very clean, the air conditioning worked very well, and the automatic toilet and hairdryer were definitely a plus. They also had a free washing machine and dryer, and even laundry detergent! The hotel was very conveniently located, and the location was great, as if you were living on West Street, everything was close but still on a quiet street. I stayed for 2 nights and I was very comfortable there, the only thing is that as you can see in the second photo, there is a building being built right in front of it, I slept until 10 am on the first day and everything was quiet, but the next day they woke me up at 8 in the morning on Sunday!! which was definitely unpleasant!

GgrassysheepI went to Yangshuo unsure if i could join a climbing crew or find a climbing coach. i had minimum gear except for my harness, shoes and grigri and thanks to the lovely lady boss of Linger House, she introduced me to a group of climbers who are climbing over the weekend booked at Linger House too. My climbing trip instantly transformed into a dreamy 3-day climbing trip, visiting four crags over the Qingming period. We expected bad weather for the entire weekend but instead, were blessed with great weather. i honestly think this is the highlight of my solo trip to china — great friendly and comfortable stay, quaint sweet cafe next door, cute kitty cats and dogs (owners’) on a quiet street in Yulong River district. i will definitely come back to Yangshuo to climb and stay at Linger House again for to hang out with the lady boss, Linger House crew, and the unforgettable BBQ nights and laughter at Linger House.

AAnnuobushiwangfeiSo lucky to have booked such a great hotel! It really made me feel at home in an unfamiliar place. The hotel environment is lovely and comfortable, and the hygiene is excellent. It's also very conveniently located, just a short walk around the corner to the Yulong River Pathway. We stayed for four days, and the owners, a lovely couple, helped us plan our itinerary, saving us a lot of trouble on our mother-and-son trip. They even told us about the local market and lent us their kitchen to cook some rare mountain produce. We are truly so grateful! We'll definitely be back if we have the chance; this will be our go-to spot whenever we visit Yangshuo.

AAnonymous UserThis is kind of disappointed experience. First of all, one of the toilet couldn't flush and needed two nights to repair, which I only stay there for three nights. It took so long to repair was because the staff made the mistake on the room (there are two rooms in this suite). Second, one of the air-conditioner was not cool at all and only half of it functioned. It didn't repair during our stay. You can imagine how uncomfortable and hot at the room when everyday is above 30 degree Celsius. Lastly, the room cleaning service really confused me. The staff will only clean your room only when you tell the reception you need the cleaning service every morning. This is not a big problem but the problem is NONE of the staff, including the staff during my check in or the staff on duty in the morning, told me that I have to do so to get the room cleaning service. Except the unsatisfying service, tbh, the view of the room is great and balcony is really spacious. It was a little bit sad that we could't enjoy it too much due to hot weather. It does deserve to have a stay if you want to enjoy the view.

MmarkBudget accommodation option hidden in the back alleys between West Street and Osmanthus Creek. Amidst of all the nightime venues music restaurants and pubs, so plenty of noise up to 2 am. Moise is tolerable, in fact not too bad if in the room, and obviously not a problem at all if out and about until late. Perfect location in the latter case - e.g. only 40m from 'Miss Yangshuo', 60m from RNG, and 100m from Luan le and Pica Pica bars! Cheap room (100 quai) equipped with as new air conditioning, smart tv, and very comfortable king sized bed. Bathroom ok. Water pressure strong and hot water system responsive. Stayed in smallest double room but still ample space for 1 person. Lady owner is attentive to guests and has a professional outlook. Good choice if keen to go out drinking on a weekend in Yangshuo!
