GGuest UserI was thoroughly impressed by August Climbing Inn. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by its unique climbing atmosphere, which is instantly invigorating. The facilities are impressive; even the hairdryers are Dyson, a testament to August's commitment to high quality. The service, in particular, was exceptional. The staff at August are incredibly attentive and not only warm and welcoming but also frequently share climbing tips and experiences with guests, creating a truly homely atmosphere. A special highlight is that it's also pet-friendly, so travelers with pets can confidently choose this spot. Furthermore, the rooms are immaculately clean and tidy. Every detail reflects a strict adherence to hygiene, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay. The location was a smart choice this time around. While not directly on West Street, its setting provides a welcome escape from the crowds and noise, offering a more peaceful and pleasant experience. The area has a rich local vibe, and getting around without traffic is surprisingly convenient. Plus, being close to the old town not only makes it easy for locals to visit but also allows tourists to more easily explore the local culture and lifestyle. Overall, August Climbing Inn is an outstanding choice, seamlessly blending climbing culture, excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location. The hotel manager didn't talk english but we talked via WeChat and everything went smoothly, he recomended us some trips to do in the Yangshuo area and restaurants to eat. Very recomendable. The rooms were big, clean, confortable and have AC. Totally recommended. And has a mirror floor on the attic for everybody to take pictures! I almost forgot, there is a washing machine!

GGuest UserI spent three wonderful nights here. The room was bright, the bed very comfortable, and the location near to West Street. The price is incredibly affordable. A huge thank you to the owner, who was so thoughtful and attentive. He not only helped me with my luggage but also noticed I enjoy tea and generously gave me some tea as a gift and invited me for tea. His help with planning my Yangshuo trip was invaluable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

GGuest UserI really liked the hotel, the people at the reception were very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and cozy, very clean, the air conditioning worked very well, and the automatic toilet and hairdryer were definitely a plus. They also had a free washing machine and dryer, and even laundry detergent! The hotel was very conveniently located, and the location was great, as if you were living on West Street, everything was close but still on a quiet street. I stayed for 2 nights and I was very comfortable there, the only thing is that as you can see in the second photo, there is a building being built right in front of it, I slept until 10 am on the first day and everything was quiet, but the next day they woke me up at 8 in the morning on Sunday!! which was definitely unpleasant!

The position was central, even if a bit for from the station and the price was ok. There's one guy at the reception speaking good English enough, another girl doesn't at all.

GGuest UserWhat a find! A very special little hotel set on the banks of the Lijiang River. We had a wonderful room next to the waterfall, with the soothing sound of water to sleep by. I loved the bathtub on the balcony and there were so many other touches which make this place just a perfect place to stay in Yangshou. Close enough to walk to West Street and all the shops and restaurants but peaceful being set away from the noise.

GgrassysheepI went to Yangshuo unsure if i could join a climbing crew or find a climbing coach. i had minimum gear except for my harness, shoes and grigri and thanks to the lovely lady boss of Linger House, she introduced me to a group of climbers who are climbing over the weekend booked at Linger House too. My climbing trip instantly transformed into a dreamy 3-day climbing trip, visiting four crags over the Qingming period. We expected bad weather for the entire weekend but instead, were blessed with great weather. i honestly think this is the highlight of my solo trip to china — great friendly and comfortable stay, quaint sweet cafe next door, cute kitty cats and dogs (owners’) on a quiet street in Yulong River district. i will definitely come back to Yangshuo to climb and stay at Linger House again for to hang out with the lady boss, Linger House crew, and the unforgettable BBQ nights and laughter at Linger House.

GGuest UserI truly had the best time staying at Eden Inn in Yangshuo. The hostel is charming, with a lovely garden and very clean rooms. The mountain view from the hostel was also a huge plus! It's perfectly located near the Yulong River, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area's stunning natural scenery. Above all, Hank is the reason this place is so special; he is 100% dedicated to making your stay unforgettable. He helped me rent a bike and gave me the best, most practical advice for exploring the local area and beyond, and even assisted with the logistics for the rest of my trip. As a solo traveler, his help was invaluable! I would definitely return to Yangshuo and stay at Eden Inn again.

AAnonymous UserThis is kind of disappointed experience. First of all, one of the toilet couldn't flush and needed two nights to repair, which I only stay there for three nights. It took so long to repair was because the staff made the mistake on the room (there are two rooms in this suite). Second, one of the air-conditioner was not cool at all and only half of it functioned. It didn't repair during our stay. You can imagine how uncomfortable and hot at the room when everyday is above 30 degree Celsius. Lastly, the room cleaning service really confused me. The staff will only clean your room only when you tell the reception you need the cleaning service every morning. This is not a big problem but the problem is NONE of the staff, including the staff during my check in or the staff on duty in the morning, told me that I have to do so to get the room cleaning service. Except the unsatisfying service, tbh, the view of the room is great and balcony is really spacious. It was a little bit sad that we could't enjoy it too much due to hot weather. It does deserve to have a stay if you want to enjoy the view.
