"Facilities: This was my first time in Yangshuo, and this hotel is really popular because of its amazing window views. After checking in, I found the facilities to be excellent as well. It's not one of those places that looks good on the outside but is disappointing on the inside. I absolutely loved the super big TV and the rotating bed in the room. You can turn it to the best angle and lie down to admire the mountains!
Cleanliness: Very satisfied. Everything was changed for each new guest. I stayed for two nights and they proactively asked about cleaning and changing things on the second day.
Environment: Speechless, truly beautiful. In the low season of winter, the green outside the window was a bit desolate, but the sunrise and sunset created an amazing ambiance! 👏🏻
Service: Absolutely top-notch. After the concierge group was set up, they were incredibly attentive, answering all my questions about booking various tours and even offering some discounts. They were meticulous, reminding and asking about afternoon tea and dinner's white fungus soup! Fantastic. Plus, the photos taken by the in-house photography service turned out great. I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves (of course, I brought my own clothes) 🧐"

The massive floor-to-ceiling windows in the room frame the mountain views perfectly, making them look like a painting – you can take in the gorgeous scenery right from your bed, it's incredible! The staff were very friendly, and my room had a wonderful view of the mountains. For just 30 yuan a day, I rented a bike right at the hotel to explore the beautiful countryside, which was a real highlight. One of the best budget-friendly choices in town."

"An amazing environment to stay in, totally Feng shui, very tasteful, bright new facilities and SMART high tech in the rooms. Excellent cleaning staff and very friendly reception staff. However, the tech buttons were different beside each bed for the curtains and lighting which caused us some issues as did the tech lighting buttons but a magical button in bathroom to opaque glass for privacy. The breakfast buffet not as good as some we have experienced as the cheese appeared stale and they did not offer fresh omelet. Loved the country walks and closeness to the theme park and other coffee and western restaurants for dinner. Overall, a wow stay."

Once you're out, just walk straight for about 50 meters and you'll reach the hotel. The hotel itself has a great ambiance, and you can enjoy the beautiful Li River scenery right from your balcony. It's also super convenient for getting a taxi.
Service: The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic and helpful. They clearly answer any travel-related questions you might have and assist with luggage. "Had the best time in Yangshuo thanks to the people in this hotel.
They speak fluent English, and all the receptionist staffs were very helpful. One of them always gave us some recommendations on where to go and how to get there in details, one of them helped us to retrieve lost sunglasses from the scooter place, one of them taught us how to ride a scooter.
Breakfast was delicious and freshly made. The staff in the breakfast area spoke English too.
Room was so clean and they even have tea making set in the room.
Definitely would recommend everyone to stay in this hotel.

"I used to think Atour was just a typical chain hotel, but it's actually pretty good in every aspect. The breakfast spread is amazing, even including local rice noodles, and it's served until 11 AM, which is perfect for late risers like me. They also have three washers and dryers, another bonus for those who don't want to handwash. You can rent an e-bike, which is super convenient for exploring the town or heading to the Yulong River Scenic Area. The staff, from the front desk to the housekeepers, are all incredibly friendly and responsive, and the rooms are spotless. I'm really happy with my stay in Yangshuo, five stars!"

This hotel boasts a fantastic location right next to the pier. It's just a few minutes' walk to the scenic spot featured on the 20 RMB banknote, and Xingping Ancient Town is a mere 3-5 minute stroll away. Chaobanshan Pier is also incredibly close; you can reach it quickly by electric shuttle, which is super convenient!
The round-trip boat ride from Xingping Chaobanshan Pier to Nine-Horse Fresco Hill is a must-do. This route covers the most picturesque section of the Li River, including the famous landscape from the 20 RMB banknote and the Nine-Horse Fresco Hill itself. A one-way journey takes about 50 minutes.
Our room was very comfortable, clean, and tidy. The best part? From the balcony, we could even see the iconic landscape featured on the 20 RMB banknote – absolutely stunning! The proprietress was incredibly thoughtful and even specially prepared breakfast for us! We were all extremely satisfied and would definitely love to come back again!"

MM428749****Revisiting Chuxin Homestay was just as delightful as the first time! This time, I chose the Early Summer King Room, which was absolutely fantastic. It's spacious and even comes with a mahjong table, offering distant views of the mountains. Every photo I took was stunning, no filter needed!
The service and cleanliness were, once again, impeccable. Staying for three nights, the room was cleaned spotless every single day. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and I slept incredibly sound and deep each night. It felt just like the comfort of home, instantly curing all my travel fatigue.
The location is simply unbeatable. It's super convenient for dining and shopping nearby; you can walk to authentic Yangshuo-style farmhouse restaurants. Getting to tourist spots is also quick and hassle-free. The biggest surprise, though, was Fa Cai, the adorable and well-behaved pet at the homestay. He's so affectionate, and I'd spend ages petting him every time I passed by – he instantly brightened my mood.
I've already added this place to my top must-stay list for Yangshuo. I'll definitely choose Chuxin again next time. It's a perfect score for both value for money and the overall experience. You can book with confidence; you won't be disappointed! ✨

GGuest UserMy son said that out of the two hotels and one guesthouse we stayed at during our trip to Guangxi, this guesthouse was the best. The room was clean and tidy, but what truly impressed us was the service, which was simply outstanding. The afternoon tea on the day we arrived wasn't just a couple of fruits and complimentary tea; it was four freshly made, warm sandwiches and warm milk, along with some very sweet fruit. The guesthouse also provided an electric scooter, which my son and I tried and found very easy to ride, but unfortunately, I'm not good at it, so we gave up. For breakfast, you can choose what you like, and it's well-balanced nutritionally. You just need to go down about ten minutes beforehand, and it'll be ready immediately. When we left, the guesthouse provided a free car service to take us to West Street, where we bought some local specialties before heading back to Beijing. For a guesthouse, the service here is far superior to many four or five-star hotels!

KKimmWe had a wonderful stay at The Tong Resort in Yangshuo with our family. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious and stylish, and the heated swimming pool was such a treat — especially after a day of exploring. The kids’ room is fantastic, with fun activities for both younger and older children.
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. A special mention to one of the evening waitresses who truly went above and beyond — she deserves a 10 out of 10 for her effort and kindness.
Breakfast was delicious with a good mix of Western and local options. Although the team doesn’t speak much English, communication through WeChat worked really well.
We highly recommend this hotel. While you’re in Yangshuo, don’t miss out on a scenic bike tour with Asian Bikes and a cooking class at Cloud 9 Cooking School — both were absolute highlights and run by the loveliest people.
The pool area is cozy and relaxing! This is truly a top hotel, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

DDangshibuzaTraveling to Yangshuo during the off-season offers great value for money, with fewer crowds and the freedom to explore. We also booked a fantastic hotel called 'Poetry & Distance'. The front desk concierge was very friendly, and our room was spotless and well-equipped! They even offered a free travel photography experience, which turned out really well – I got to be a Miao girl for a day! [Rose][Grin] The room upgrade was a wonderful experience, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful. While there's no phone in the room, contacting them via WeChat was super convenient as they responded almost instantly! The room amenities were thoughtfully prepared; they even provided plenty of hand warmers since it was freezing in Guilin for several days. If only the room had an electric blanket, it would have been perfect – Southern winters can be bone-chilling indoors.

The hotel is right at the entrance archway of West Street. Step out, and you're in the bustling pedestrian street, filled with local snacks, souvenir shops, and pubs. In the evening, you can explore the night market and grab late-night snacks within a 2-minute walk. No need for a taxi when you're out late, which feels incredibly safe. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Li River, where a stroll by the river breeze is super relaxing. You can rent the hotel's electric bikes and reach Yulong River bamboo rafting and the Ten-Mile Gallery in just 20 minutes; the bikes are in great condition, making transportation super convenient. It's about a 40-minute drive from Yangshuo Station. If you're driving, there's free underground parking, so no worries there.

The public areas also feature a coffee corner and a reading nook, perfect for capturing atmospheric photos. We stayed in the West Street Night View King Room. The room layout was well-designed, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic views of the vibrant West Street nightlife, with glimpses of the distant undulating mountains – beautiful both day and night. The most pleasant surprise was the soundproofing. Despite being right next to West Street, the soundproof windows kept the noise out, allowing even light sleepers to enjoy a full night's rest.

The hotel's location is absolutely prime, situated at No. 36 North Road, Yangshuo County. It's just a 5-10 minute walk to the heart of West Street's commercial area, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and enjoying a drink at a bar. Yet, it manages to avoid the street's hustle and bustle, offering a wonderfully peaceful experience amidst the vibrancy. Transportation around the hotel is also incredibly convenient; you can walk to the Li River, ride an electric scooter to the Ten-Mile Gallery in about 15 minutes, and it's not far from Xingping Ancient Town or the Impression Liu Sanjie scenic area. It's ideal for both independent travelers and families.

The most surprising feature was the 800-square-meter sky garden on the 5th floor, boasting a 360-degree observation deck and an Instagram-worthy infinity pool. With Yangshuo's iconic karst landscapes as the backdrop, you can watch the Li River sunset on a clear day or admire the mountain mist on a rainy day. Every picture taken here turns out stunning; my friends couldn't stop snapping photos. In the evening, they even host open-air movie screenings here, which, combined with the gentle breeze, creates an incredible ambiance.
The room decor was equally impressive. The minimalist yet tasteful interiors are complemented by large, bright windows. Some room types even come with a scenic balcony and a separate bathtub, allowing you to enjoy the green mountains and waters while bathing. Our mountain-view king room was spacious and impeccably clean. The smart home features were very convenient to use, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a restful night's sleep. For families, the duplex panoramic king room is perfect, featuring a private viewing terrace and a swing, spacious enough for the whole family to gather.
The thoughtful service was evident in every detail. The front desk staff were cheerful and enthusiastic, happy to answer all our travel questions, and even helped us book tickets and plan our itinerary. The hotel thoughtfully provides free electric scooter rentals – the pink and green scooters are super eye-catching on the road, and riding them to the Yulong River for rafting or through the Ten-Mile Gallery was incredibly enjoyable. The breakfast was truly generous, offering Guilin rice noodles, assorted grains, eggs, fruits, and soy milk – all plentiful and delicious, providing a perfect start to the day's adventures. Additionally, there's a children's play area, self-service laundry, and luggage storage, making it stress-free for those traveling with kids.
For just over 100 RMB per person, you can stay in a scenic room and enjoy so many high-quality services – the value for money is truly exceptional. Whether it's a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or a family vacation, this hidden gem of a hotel nestled among the mountains and rivers will meet your needs. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangshuo!

TTanya McGeerWe absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, the staff were friendly and could speak English, and the food at the hotel was amazing. This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality.

ZZhaocaimiaoyimeiThis hotel is quite beautiful, right by the Lijiang River entrance. It's very convenient, just a 7-8 minute walk to West Street. The rooms are spacious and all offer scenic mountain and river views.
What truly stands out is their afternoon tea – it's delicious and fresh, almost comparable to a five-star hotel. Breakfast is also very rich, featuring many Cantonese dim sum dishes, as well as Guilin rice noodles. The food is definitely more refined than at other hotels. Their rooftop (or 'sky') area is especially expansive and great for photos, particularly when the sun is out.

GGuest UserAmazing room, what a view! - great bed and bedding, constant hot water for shower and bath. Staff at reception were brilliant and so helpful, location on the quite side of the river was spot on as ferry just 50yds away, (4yuen each way) which takes you over to west street 600yds walk, and bamboo rides same distance. Breakfast was Chinese but very tasty good coffee if you ask. Small but clean pool that’s very refreshing (20c)
