"This hotel provides a solid airport hotel experience with fast, automated check in & check out, efficient lifts, polished interiors, extremely comfortable beds, great room design that makes the best use of the space, modern bathroom and perfectly sized bathtub (and washlet on the toilet), some rooms also give wonderful views of the Tokyo skyline if the air is clear. The one drawback is that, despite the good soundproofing from aircraft sounds and other guests, there was an incessant stream of noise from the bathroom that could not be stopped (and closing the bathroom door did not dampen it). To get to sleep I had to wear noise cancellation headphones which was a bit uncomfortable and not ideal."

"This is my second time staying at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel, and I really love this place. First off, the hotel's location is excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro subway station, making it very convenient for visiting various attractions. Secondly, the hotel is directly connected to the Sunshine City shopping mall, which is super convenient for both shopping and dining. Thirdly, there's a performance stage in the mall with boy bands performing almost daily, allowing me to easily catch live shows. The hotel rooms are also very nice, and they provide two complimentary bottles of mineral water every day. The hotel also offers a direct airport shuttle bus. You can book your ticket in advance at the front desk, and it costs 1400 JPY per person, which is incredibly convenient. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Tokyo."

"What I love: Next to Lumine and Tobu departmental stores Kombini within hands reach Within 400m from Ikebukuro Metro Very committed staff, fantastic hospitality Rooms are clean & modern Breakfast buffet was pretty extensive What I do not love: Thin walls - no insulation from corridoor noise Smoking floors - although mine was a non-smoking room, I was initially checked into a smoking floor (bad smell lingered at the lift landing and corridor, to my horror), which I had then requested a change of rooms because the a/c blew out musky compromised air, and so my request for a change of rooms was done immediately without hesitation by the front desk. Avoid level 6 because that’s the smoking floor."

"Hotel lobby is on the 8th floor but the lift up to the lobby is quite slow. Room space is good compared with other hotels in Tokyo. Overall the hotel room is good except the toilet at the hotel lobby and the environment outside the building where you can see many sleeping on the roadside etc. Very crowded during weekends."

"The room was quite spacious, and we found our 4-night stay very comfortable. The bed was also comfortable, not one of those overly soft types. The location was excellent, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven stores conveniently located nearby. In fact, there's a 7-Eleven right on the ground floor of the hotel – it couldn't be more convenient! The hotel is very close to the subway station. You can easily walk to Shinjuku to catch a train, or take one from Tochomae Station. The hotel had quite a few international guests, and we were pleased to find a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk. The daily housekeeping was excellent, ensuring a very clean, pleasant, and comfortable stay."

"The room was great, clean, big, good aircon, international plugs. Great services, breakfast was very nice. Very well placed, 200m aways from the subway station . And of course amazing views of Tokyo. The only downside was the check in, you do it on an automatic machine that didn’t work well for us. "The hotel is very grand, featuring a spacious, elegantly decorated lobby with a distinctive centerpiece of purple-pink cockscomb flowers. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted by staff who took our luggage, escorted us to the front desk for check-in, and then delivered our bags to our room. The front desk staff were highly efficient, making both check-in and check-out incredibly fast. We had booked a room in the tower and were pleasantly surprised to be assigned a high-floor room with views of the Imperial Palace. Even though there's an elevated light rail line directly below with trains continuously passing, we only perceived minimal noise. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The buffet breakfast is served on the 17th floor, the top floor of the main building. While the selection wasn't extensive, it more than made up for it with delicious food, excellent service, and superb views. The hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of Hibiya Park, the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, and Ginza. It's also about a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station, which was perfect for a post-dinner stroll to digest. We had a truly delightful stay."

"The room was spacious, and the public areas were also very well-maintained. However, complimentary drinking water was not provided in the room; we had to go to the floor's water dispenser, which was a bit inconvenient. We didn't book breakfast as there were so many dining options available nearby. The hotel is very close to Shinjuku Station, easily accessible via the second-floor pedestrian deck, directly opposite Takashimaya – extremely convenient. The airport limousine bus stop is conveniently located right downstairs and is the first pick-up point. However, it then spends about 30 minutes going around to pick up other passengers, which feels like a wasted detour. Opting for the JR train or going to a different bus terminal yourself is also very straightforward and gets you to the airport in roughly 1.5 hours. Overall, the value for money wasn't particularly high, so I might explore other hotels in the vicinity on my next visit."

DDariaLocation and the host were totally good. Of course, capsule hotel has some inconveniences (you don't have enough space to store your stuff and you can only give it to the host on the 1st floor and they put it into a baggage room, also there is no ventilation in the capsules and in some of them there was too hot so the hot allowed my friend to change capsule). But the worst experience here was because of our capsule neighbour on the 3rd floor (so I can't blame the hotel) - she was obviously out of her mind, went to the toilet every 5 minutes and spent huge amount of toilet paper, so in a couple of hours she used up all the toilet paper on our floor. The host came and replaced the new paper - but in 2 hours it was the same way...
