Room is a little small but it is understandable as majority of the hotel room in Tokyo is small. Love the customer service and happy that they provide luggage storage service as this make our trip easier without carrying the luggage around all the time
The location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It's surrounded by wholesale streets full of affordable clothing, as well as many small restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores. Usually, it's very quiet, but this time there was a large construction site next door that was quite noisy, even late at night and on weekends. The environment is decent and relatively clean; there's no waiting for the toilet or shower. Unfortunately, the shower room had a rather strong odor. The service was very professional.
The hotel location is the best, only four minutes walk to the Tokyo station. The room size (17-sqm) is small which is pretty standard of Japanese hotel and good enough to sleep at night. From 11:00-22:00, there are free drinks, including water, soda, tea and coffee at the lobby which is very refreshing after a long day outside.
There are also free amenities available for you to pick up at the check-in counter as well, such as facia mask, lotion, food pad, etc. The hotel staff can speak English very well and friendly. I will consider coming back here for my next trip.
Dash Living Nihonbashi was the perfect home base for my trip. The studio is modern and surprisingly spacious for Japan, with everything I needed: a well-equipped kitchen (rice cooker, full utensils), comfy bed, strong WiFi, and good soundproofing. Location is fantastic—super close to metro lines in Ningyocho/Nihonbashi, easy walks to sights and great local eats. Check-in was smooth, facilities feel new, and it's excellent value for a longer stay. Highly recommend for anyone wanting apartment-style comfort over a traditional hotel.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a great option for a solo traveler. There was plenty of space to fully open a 24-inch suitcase without feeling cramped, which made the stay even more convenient.
The bathroom had a slight musty smell at first, but it disappeared after I turned on the ventilation fan, so it wasn’t a major issue. The location was also excellent, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and the metro station was only a 2–3 minute walk away.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place to anyone traveling alone.
I had a layover in Tokyo on a Saturday, and to my surprise, hotel prices were ridiculously high. So, I frantically scoured platforms, looking for a clean place with a good location. This hotel barely had any reviews, and hardly anyone on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media app) had written about it, but I decided to take a chance.
It was only 600 JPY for one night, located in the Hatchobori area, just one stop from Tokyo Station.
[Location]
The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Hatchobori Station, making it super convenient to get around. It's two stops to Tsukiji Market, Ginza is within walking distance, and Tokyo Tower is also very close.
Shinjuku and Shibuya are in different directions, about a 30-minute subway ride. Disneyland is also quite close, roughly a 20-minute subway ride.
[Facilities]
This is an ICI Hotel, a Japanese chain, opened in 2020. The lobby was packed with luggage; you can store your bags, but keep in mind that check-out is at 10 AM.
[Room]
The room is genuinely small, only 9 square meters... it's hard to open a large suitcase. However, the room is very clean!! At this price, it's perfect for budget travelers. No need to stay in a hostel when you can have a private room at this price; I can't ask for more.
[Service]
The front desk staff was quite friendly, which is to be expected from a chain hotel.
In summary, the hotel is clean and well-located. The downside is the small room, but it's ideal for those who spend their days out exploring Tokyo and don't plan on spending much time in the hotel.
This hotel is located in Tokyo's CBD office district and is half the price of the Palace Hotel and Marunouchi Hotel. It offers excellent value for money and is very convenient for getting around. It's a 10-minute walk from my Tokyo office and a 3-minute walk from Otemachi subway station. The hotel is popular with business travelers from abroad and families on vacation.
Across the street, there's a 7-Eleven and a Whole Foods, as well as a few Chinese restaurants and ramen shops.
The rooms are small, but that's typical for hotels in Japan. There's no desk, which can be a bit inconvenient if you need to work on a laptop.
There are very few power outlets in the room – I only found one next to the floor lamp and one in the bathroom. However, there's a USB port by the bed.
Breakfast is served in the downstairs cafe from 6:30 AM to 10 AM for 1580 yen per person. From 3 PM to 10 PM, there's a complimentary self-service coffee and tea station with cookies and snacks.
Toiletries can be picked up near the elevators. If you need facial cleanser or cream, you can ask the front desk staff for women's amenities.
The front desk service is excellent, though communicating in English with the Japanese staff can be a bit challenging.
Location: Right by the subway station, not far from Ginza or Shinjuku.
Facilities: Exceeded expectations! The room wasn't as small as I thought, and coming back to a bath and a cold beer after a long day of walking was just perfect.
Service: Good. Communication with the front desk was smooth.
Highlights: There's a FamilyMart downstairs and a Lawson within a two-minute walk. Plus, there's a great coffee shop just around the corner.
This hotel exceeded expectations. It is small. It is very convenient for Tokyo Stations. There is a large shopping centre nars and shops nearby. It is close to Kyobashi underground statiin. The staff are wonderful. very helpful and courteous. The rooms are small but have everything you need. beds are firm but comfortable. We were moving around japan but coming back to this hotel for the last night so we could store one of our cases at the hotel FOC while we travelled. I would hight recommend this hotel.
Very good service. Convenient location. The room I originally booked was really too small with hardly any space to walk, so I paid for an upgrade to a 20 sq m room and the size was more decent. The original room in the photos are the usual size of Tokyo hotels but the layout makes walking across the room very inconvenient and there's hardly space for suitcases.

AAnonymous UserThe room was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. Outside of breakfast hours, the restaurant offers complimentary drinks and coffee all day, along with free small desserts. The hotel guests were predominantly Western Caucasians. The location is excellent, with numerous subway lines nearby, allowing direct access to various attractions and the airport. There are also many 24-hour convenience stores in the vicinity, so finding food is never an issue.
GGuest UserGreat. Large space. Cheap. Various pictures and logos. Comfortable mattress. Check out at 12 noon. The most comfortable room I stayed in in Japan.
HHuahuahualvlvThe hotel is conveniently located near the Ningyocho subway station exit, making travel easy, and you can take a direct subway line to Haneda Airport. The hotel staff are very helpful and welcoming, and they even lend out umbrellas if it rains. The room was clean and tidy, and the three-piece bathroom in the triple room was a definite plus. Breakfast was also good. The only downside is that bottled water isn't provided in the room.
GGuest UserHotel was very clean, and adequate for our requirements - it's located in a quiet area, yet within walking distance to stations, Akihabara, etc. Kanda has a few convenient restaurants and bars that open till late as well. A 7-11 is next door, for those snacks and what not. Overall, highly recommended!
Iisaac_isacThe hostel has a clean and smelless bathroom. Humidifier placing in the room helps a lot to create a comfortable environment. The most important thing is that the Japanese workers there can speak fluent English, which is completely the opposite outside of the hostel. They recommended me to amazing affordable local Japanese restaurants as well👍🏻
JJiNJiNJiNThe hotel's cleanliness, service, and dining are all great, typical Hyatt quality. It's quite convenient with a subway station nearby. The only downside is its location right next to an elevated highway, which can be a bit noisy at night. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to reconsider. Apparently, king rooms are a bit better, but twin rooms are closer to the highway.
FFubutianHoshinoya Tokyo is situated in a tower in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, uniquely blending a traditional Japanese garden with a high-rise hotel concept. While its immediate surroundings are dominated by corporate offices like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, its location isn't as prime as other similarly priced luxury hotels such as The Peninsula Tokyo or Bulgari, with a noticeable lack of nearby dining options or convenience stores.
The service, on the other hand, truly made guests feel at home. Each floor boasts a dedicated Japanese-style common area, but the atmosphere felt a bit too rigid or rule-bound. For example, when I asked for a second welcome dessert, it wasn't possible.
However, I would strongly advise against staying here for a business trip. Firstly, the hotel's policy of not allowing unregistered guests to enter is quite inconvenient and arguably unsuitable for a business-oriented establishment. Secondly, the hotel itself offers a rich array of experiences – from its two-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant to kimono fittings, tea ceremonies, kendo classes, hot springs, and sightseeing bicycles. These features highlight its strong appeal for leisure travel, making it less ideal for business.
GGuest UserThe shower room was fully equipped with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, and it was great to have free access to a hairdryer! I was also surprised to find a water dispenser, instant coffee, and tea bags readily available. I couldn't believe how many amenities were offered for such an affordable stay. Being able to store valuables in a locker gave me peace of mind. Although I personally had a slight issue with check-in, I would definitely like to stay here again!
GGuest UserAs expected from accommodations in tokyo, the room is small, but it has a designated work desk and chair - for those who need to do some work. The main shopping areas in Ginza are about 10-15min walk. There's a very convenient coin laundry around the corner and a 7-11 at the end of the block.
