La Vida Hotel ★★★★
"I will atay here whenever i am in Taichung, it is near to the night market and a wide spread of breakfast. I am happy to know that there is a DIY laundry and dryer in the next building."
Chance Hotel ★★★
"The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Taichung Railway Station. Miyahara Eye Hospital is also nearby. There's a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, though the night market is a bit of a walk, about 30 minutes. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and you can rent a scooter directly across the street, making it super convenient to get around."
Twinstar Hotel ★★★
"Very good! The service attitude was excellent, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. The cleaning was very thorough and thoughtful. The location is super convenient, very close to the train station, making it easy to go anywhere."
Norway Forest Travel hotel 1 Taichung ★★★
"The location is great because it's just a few meters away from Taichung station. The room was okay, but I find it a bit dusty likely because it's along the main street. The cups, hangersand other items in the room were also dusty. Hope they can wipe before guests come in and ensure thorough clean up. The exterior area looked dirty as well and the floor which was covered in carpet looked untidy. Hope they can improve."
In Joy Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel room is clean. We booked a 3 pax room. I think the futon bed is not very comfy and maybe mattress can be thicker. Location is a 10 to 14 min distance to fengjia not super near but easy to walk over. Breakfast average."
Bravo Hotel ★★★
"The room was quite clean and comfortable. The location is also convenient, as it is close to the station. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay."
Norway Forest Travel hotel 3 Taichung ★★★
"We have enjoyed our stay at Norway Forest. Perfect location, good deco inside the room. The free coffee and snacks is someting beyond our expectation. The room is not big, but enough for 2 of us. I wanted to stay for second day, but it was fully booked out. I"

OKU Hotel Taichung
"I had such a great stay at Taichung Oku Hotel! The place has a super stylish design—everything feels modern and chic, which made the whole vibe really enjoyable. My room was spacious and comfy, way bigger than I expected, so it was perfect for relaxing after a day out in Taichung. The guest service team was fantastic too—friendly, helpful, and always ready to make things easier. They really added to the experience and made me feel welcome. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d definitely come back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hotel that combines great style, comfort, and service!"
Inhouse Hotel Grand
"Rooms are a little dated but the elevators, bathrooms, TV, AC, all seem recently renovated and working well. Rooftop pool was nice bonus. Dinner and bar service closed a little early, would have like to dine in but not available after 7:30pm when arrived back to Hotel. Overall enjoyed the stay, will book again."

Icloud Luxury Resort & Hotel
"The moment I stepped into the room, I was hit by an overwhelming cigarette smell. I called the front desk to complain, but they informed me they were fully booked and couldn't offer a room change. Their only solution was to send someone to 'deal' with the smell by spraying air freshener. The smell was simply unbearable. I called again, offering to pay extra for a different room, and only then did they finally arrange one for us. While the new room was indeed smoke-free, the air conditioning was completely ineffective the entire night!!!!!! To make matters worse, when I tried to use the spa jets in the bathtub, a bunch of small bugs came out! 🙄🙄 I will absolutely not be returning to this place."
Golden Tulip Zhong Xin Hotel Taichung
"The staff were very thorough in their explanations and had an excellent attitude. While the location might seem a bit out of the way, it was surprisingly convenient for reaching the night market. The only minor drawback was the air conditioning unit, which was quite loud and noisy in the middle of the night. Especially considering the hot weather, the AC temperature consistently stayed between 25-26°C, which simply wasn't cool enough. However, the room's bathroom was very spacious, and having a bathtub was a great bonus."
Voga motel
"Windows soundproofing is not very good"
Millennium Hotel Taichung
Delivering world-class five-star comfort in the affluent 7th Phase district, this premium property is highly regarded for its exceptional rooftop dining and extensive executive amenities.
Taichung Harbor Hotel
"The overall environment was comfortable, and my four-year-old had a blast in the kids' play area. The only downsides were that the air conditioning might not be cool enough when it's crowded, making it a bit stuffy. Also, the staff mentioned that disinfection would start at 2:00 PM, but they began clearing the area at 12:30 PM, which was a little disappointing."
Fullon Hotel Lihpao Resort
"It’s not bad. You can go back and put your things whenever you are tired from playing in the park or visiting the outlets. Everything you need is there. The family room is large and comfortable, and the facilities are pretty good. You can swim, sauna, and borrow billiards and billiards equipment. , it happened to coincide with Halloween🎃There was a pumpkin hunting activity which was also very interesting. Our family had a great time."
Evergreen Laurel Hotel (Taichung)
Set conveniently along the major Taiwan Boulevard, this classic upscale lodging stands out for its comprehensive family-friendly recreational facilities and highly reputable international dining options.
Hoya Resort Hotel Wuling
"The view from the family room balcony was amazing. There was a concert in the evening; it was incredible to find a concert in such a natural forest. I hope Tomino continues to host evening concerts. 😄"
THE METRO HOTEL TAICHUNG
"It was terrible 3 nights of stay. AC is broken, fan was too loud. We couldn't sleep well, and hotel staff attitude was like immigration staff. We had nothing to eat for breakfast except for scrambled eggs. Honestly I feel depression that 3 days. Not gonna recommend to anyone."
Elence Hotel
"The service and environment were both fantastic! It would be perfect if there was a parking lot. Still, I was very happy with my stay 😊"
Ohotel
"The exterior looks decent, but the interior feels a bit dated, and the room itself is old and not quite clean. I found hair and some stains. On the day of check-in, there was an esports competition downstairs which was very noisy. The upside is the good location, quite close to the attractions."
PHOENIX HOTEL TAICHUNG
"Pretty average for the price compared to what we paid in other ********* cities. Room smelt a bit and it felt dirty not having slippers to wear on the carpet which didn’t look clean. Bathroom was good. Few room amenities but the main reason people come is for the breakfast I think. It has a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. Quality isn’t amazing but you should find something you like. The staff at the breakfast place aren’t very friendly but I guess they running a tight ship with so many people. Breakfast also runs to 1pm which is good. 2 hr limit but you can check out at 11am and the go eat."
