"The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite SOGO department store. My only minor complaint is that hotels in Taichung generally tend to be a bit older. A huge thank you to the front desk for the complimentary room upgrade!"

"The location of this hotel is excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly, polite, and genuinely tried to help whenever we needed anything. Unfortunately, the hotel itself has some significant issues. Our room had a strong mould smell that was impossible to ignore. This isn’t something that can be solved with air freshener or a quick spray by housekeeping—it points to a deeper moisture problem that requires a proper investment in repairs. Until that is addressed, it seriously affects the comfort of the stay. The food was also disappointing and well below what we expected. We also tried to book a massage during our stay, but every time we went down, there was no one there. The counter staff seemed unsure of what was happening, which made the experience feel disorganized. I want to emphasize that the staff did their best and were always courteous. The problems seem to be with the property and its management rather than the employees. With its excellent location, this hotel has a lot of potential, but it needs to address the mould issue properly and improve some of its facilities and services."

"The hotel is quite large and feels very new, perfect for families with kids. The breakfast spread is also very generous, and the outdoor hot springs and sauna are a definite plus. We stayed in a 4-person room, and it felt very cozy."
