"Overall, the hotel is good and service from the staff is great too. Breakfast Hotel has a good spread and enjoyed the food there. Hotel is well located near the Fengjia Night Market and you can go there in 3 min but is not very near the city centre and you may need to take a bus or walk there. ."

"The room was clean and tidy, and quite quiet. The front desk staff patiently guided me through the check-in process, which was a great experience. It's super close to Taichung Railway Station, and the 7-Eleven downstairs is very convenient."

"This hotel is directly across from Taichung TRA Station, making it super convenient to catch a train in just a few minutes. Miyahara Eye Hospital (famous for its ice cream and souvenirs) is also just a short walk away. You can easily catch a bus right outside to Rainbow Village. It's incredibly convenient. The hotel facilities are great too. The front desk service was reassuring, and they offer complimentary lemon juice and snacks in the lobby. The king-size bed in the room definitely felt wider than 1.5 meters, probably closer to 2 meters wide. Both the bathroom and toilet were clean. Breakfast is served on the second floor and it's absolutely fantastic!"

"Extremely disappointed 😞. The family room I saw in the pictures wasn't the one I stayed in, and there were no photos of my actual room type available on Trip.com. The room I got didn't match the price I paid. I booked specifically for the room design, so I was really upset when I arrived. When I asked at the front desk, they told me, 'Because you didn't request it? So it's just a standard room?' I had no idea there were other room types. I came during a public holiday (and my price was more than double the usual rate), but I didn't get the room I wanted. I really can't accept this! The most unreasonable thing, in my opinion, was the security deposit. I'm okay with paying a deposit, but why wasn't it refunded immediately? Who traveling for a vacation in Taiwan wants to wait over two weeks for a refund? I've already waited fourteen days, and they're saying it's Trip.com's problem and not theirs??? The staff just shifted all the blame and didn't help resolve the issue at all! It's already 2/28 to 3/14 and I still haven't received my money? What happened to the promised 7 to 14 days? And I can't find anyone who can help resolve this problem! I hope the hotel can help deal with this instead of just saying it's not their problem. The hotel partners with Trip.com; they help you get guests, so why are you so indifferent to your customers' issues??? Who would dare to book with you again after this??? (RM591.92) Is the deposit for one night the same as the holiday room price??? Maybe you didn't collect it directly, but since you let Trip.com collect it, you should be responsible for helping to inquire and assist customers in getting their money back. Just because it's not 'your' money, you don't care? Is this a customer service issue? Five hundred TWD 4,600?? Is that a service fee? Is this a joke? No problem resolution? The breakfast was indeed good! I'll give them that. But who knows how much Oden 🍢 there was? They advertised it as a late-night snack, but it was all gone by 9 PM? When I asked, they just said, 'It's gone, it's gone?' In that case, why even offer it?"

"Location is good. Walking distance to major transport and adjacent to factory outlet mall. Room is good size for couple and can add bed or family room. There is curated one day tour trip provided by the hotel and very competitive to outside tour. Tour guide selected and provided by hotel is professional, responsible and accommodating to needs. Hotel Breakfast is quite normal or standard which can be more exciting or international as IHG leh. If one of the day trip is to Lukang, there is bus literally outside the hotel. Walking distance and there is also option of walking to nearby bus stop to take bus to YiZhong street. Also got bus to Fengjia night market, very convenient."

"When check in, the staff was busy, It was confused me to rush for check in, apperantly the room was on the other building, so I need to go out and enter the other building. Not sure about the security, looks like no security on the other building. For breakfast I have to go out to the front office building on the 2nd floor. They give coupon for breakfast from 7-10. The breakfast was okay, and same type of menu. The room quite big, the bathroom okay, with full amenities. It seems the the room wasn't clean properly, there some small plastic rubbish on the corner when I check in, I wouldn't bother. Light in front of bathroom wasn't good enougj, since the mirror there you need when you getting ready to go out. They provide water bottle and tea bag. Free store luggage service upon check in and check out. Location is near the train station, walkable to Miyahara and around train station was really nice at night."

"It should be the renovation of the old hotel, the overall experience is very good, and the space is very large and it will not feel very oppressive at all, the pillows are very comfortable, the room supplies are also very new, the stay experience is very good"

"There's a common room upstairs where you can eat. They also offer a simple breakfast in the morning with coffee, juice, toast, and dinner rolls. The breakfast was really good, especially the dinner rolls. When toasted, the butter would ooze out – absolutely delicious! The famous Miyahara Eye Clinic is just a short walk away. Next time, if I need to, I'll ask them to help me get a lower bunk."

"We are very satisfied with our 4D3N stay here. The photos I shared are taken by yours truly. The room size is big for me and my mom. The staffs were nice and can speak English. I’m really sorry that I lost the baggage tag 😭😭😭 We will definitely stay here again and I’ll make sure to double check my things especially whenever I go out so I won’t lose anything again 🥹 I highly suggest adding bidet. That would be perfect if ever we comeback to Taichung next time! 😁 Just a heads up if you ever need to go out and the lobby door is locked, look on the right side of the door and there’s an instruction there haha no one told us about it and we end up using the back door to get out until the next day, the back door was also lock and good thing my mom noticed something on the right side of the door and when I pressed it, the door unlocked 🤣 it’s my first time to experience that for a 2 star hotel (according to google maps) so I really find that experience silly, embarrassing and unforgettable ~ 🥹 but the next time we come here, I know what to do 🤭"
