Find 3-Star Hotels in Taichung

The room is nice... Has a small fridge.. the room is clean.. free mineral water, coffee and tea... Internet wifi is fast.. This hotel only has 1 iron.. and you need to put 500twd as deposit to borrow from the front desk... Eventually I have no chance,coz 1 customer has it and I am wondering why they don't know who borrows the iron if they put a deposit and they don't know the room. Close to the main station...only 300m by walk.

1. 🕰️ Was asked to be seated while the reception prepared my check in (note that check in is at 5pm, I arrived around 315pm so I asked if they could let me check in slightly earlier). After about 45 mins, I went to check on the status and the reception has clearly forgotten about my check in. 2. 🪳Probably the most turned off thing of the stay. Opened the door and was greeted by a cockroach and a rubbish tissue (see photo). Live cockroach… 3. 🧹 No daily housekeeping. No bottled water provided. No hand soap so just got to make do with shower gel. The good part about this hotel is probably the location and the size of the room is pretty decent.

Hotel room are clean and modern. Love the contemporary design of the room and toilet (mirror with LED lights). Location is nearby to TRA station, with 10 mins walking distance. Receptionist could have greet / welcome their customer when customer entering or step out the hotel. For my experience , after checked-in , they don’t bother you anymore, no smile and no greet. You can find snacks outside of your room. But unfortunately, they don’t refill in time. I only able to grab some snacks during my first day stay in this hotel. Could be improve. The hot water in the shower room is just tepid. The drainage flow in the shower room very slow. Overall , I will give a 5 out of 10 for a three star hotel.

Palmer hotel's location is very central, near taroko mall, Taichung park, Taichung train station and miyahahara ice cream shop. Palmer hotel offers buffet breakfast and also has a self laundry - coin operated same floor with the buffet. Room is big, 2 elevators working and quick checkin and check-out process. Thank you for the good service.

The hotel is very new, about a 4-minute walk from Chenggong Railway Station. There is a FamilyMart convenience store nearby. There are no restaurants, but you can order takeout. There is a parking lot. It is highly recommended for self-driving tours. The CP value is very high on weekdays. The breakfast is OK. There is a tea bag, coffee machine and potato chip snacks in the lobby. There is beer in the afternoon on the 2nd floor and there is a bath. Although the bathhouse is small, the facilities are OK. Unfortunately, it is only open from 3pm to 9pm. It would be better if it was opened later.

Stay in the business executive room top floor. What's Good: 1. This is one of the most interesting hotel I stayed in. I like the balcony, can suntan. the layout and design of the room is fabulous. In the morning, when sun shines in, the room is so beautiful. 2. I also like that the room has multiple international plugs, guest don't need to bring international plugs. Hotels all over should adopt this idea. 3. The staff at the counter service very good. Very helpful ladies. Areas for improvement: 1. The area near cabinet should install a light, at night I want to retrieve my clothes, I cant even see clearly. 2. I like that the toilet bowl has bidet. Too bad its not working. Please repair! Not very nice to rent our an unserviceable room. It's like when you paid $5 for an apple, the vendor gives you a partially rotten apple and expect you to accept it without discount. As a customer, what impression will you have of the vendor? 3. Roof top under repair. Early morning, I was woken up by heavy drilling and hammering. The hotel should be aware there is a guest staying right below. I have to call to ask them to stop. I understand repair needs to be done. Can arrange repairs on days when the 7th floor room is unoccupied? 4. I don't know if the room is infested with rats or ******* or if someone is staying above the 7th floor unit. In the middle of the night, 2-3am, heavy footsteps can be heard, you can hear the floor creek with each steps as if going to collapse! Thank you!

This is a small cosy boutique hotel. Got a tea/coffee area for guests. The location is not near to any MRT stations but can commute to all the venues by buses. Alot of eateries around the hotel so all meals are convenient if you don't want to venture too far. Chungyu mall is about 15 mins walk away.

The service attitude of the counter staff is professional and courteous. Whether it is the consultation on the telephone or the response at the on-site counter, it is like a five-star hotel. The breakfast buffet dining space is bright and has spacious seating. The most commendable thing is that the meal period is 7:30-9:30. When we arrived at 8:30, there was no porridge. The original reply from the on-site personnel was no longer available. But when we expressed our needs to the on-site service staff, the service staff kindly asked the kitchen to prepare it for us and delivered it to our seats. From booking, parking arrangements, accommodation, meals, and check-out. They all serve very attentively. Highly recommended 👍

Very good. The location is very close to SOGO and Eslite on Zhongmei Street. It is very convenient. The staff at the front desk have a very good service attitude and the room is quite clean. I will stay here again.

The hostel was very nice, they had tea and cookies around the clock and the staff was very friendly. The room was nice but the window I had was not going to the outside but the inside. Just be aware of this. Also if full, I think it is quite noisy because sound isolation is quite bad. Otherwise very good. Be aware, this is not the high speed train station in Taichung, but the normal one.
