The hotel is located not far from the throne of Arthur and is a historic manor. There is its own beautiful lawn and Scottish Highland cattle to take pictures. The decoration in the hotel is beautiful, very careful, and they are all historical relics. The fly in the ointment is that the room is small, but the bed is very comfortable. The hotel's restaurant is also a well-rated English restaurant. You can try it.

The location couldn't be more perfect, right in the heart of the Royal Mile, with windows overlooking the church. A crucial tip for arrival: from the train station, definitely avoid the stairs and take the main road instead; it's about an 8-minute walk. The kitchen and washing machine are fully equipped, great for preparing your own tasty meals. The bedding was excellent, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The only minor point was the slightly low shower pressure, but that's often to be expected in an older building.

This luxury hotel in Edinburgh is definitely worth experiencing. We stayed in a triple room for two nights. The hotel's interior design and decor are classic and elegant. The room was spacious with high-end amenities, and the bathroom and shower were very large. The room was exceptionally clean, and the hotel service was excellent. We also had dinner at Hawksmoor, the hotel's ground-floor restaurant, for two consecutive nights – their steak is absolutely top-notch.

The terrace room was a bit small, but the advantage was having a terrace where you could enjoy the sunshine. The bathroom had heating, and the shower was very comfortable. The only downside might be the smell of barbecue from the food court downstairs, but overall it was a good experience.

Lovely hotel with a really nice vibe. Beds are so comfy. Nice showers and luxury toiletries. Great amenities with snacks, coffee machine, local filter coffee etc in room. Staff are great and very friendly. Happy hour from 5 to 6pm with free drinks in the bar. Lovely coffee from the conservatory bar. Great selection at breakfast. All the staff are what makes the hotel so good. Really positive attitudes and always friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.
