Excellent staff, clean room and convenient location make Edinburgh’s Marriott Hotel Holyrood one like no other. The receptionist made a provision for me to check in early at 9:30 am and for me that was a major relief as I traveled by train from London and really needed to rest. Thank you to the impeccable room service as well that made it a relaxing time for me.

Overall, it was a good stay. The room has a large French window. The front desk staff has a check-in time of 10:30 pm. The hotel will send an email in advance to ask guests to confirm the check-in time. When they learned that I was later than 10:30, they sent an English email to inform me of the self-service check-in procedures and the route and bus line information from the airport, which was very helpful to me. This may be a communication barrier for guests with language difficulties.
There are several buses such as 31 at the entrance of the hotel to the city center. It is 12 bus stops from Prince Street, about half an hour. It is also convenient.

Very good, the feeling of going home, you have it, and some people have cleaned up. Away from the city, it is 10 minutes to drive into the city center. The parking in the city is very expensive. If you have the opportunity to go to Edinburgh in the future, you will choose to live here. Then you can choose the bus. The station is conveniently located next to it. A big supermarket 10 minutes walk nearby, I still have a very beautiful scarf inside~

My classmates who have lived in the UK for 20 years recommended this. It belongs to the sparrow, although small, and has all the internal organs. It is convenient to go to Carlton Mountain, the National Gallery and Edinburgh Castle from the hotel. Breakfast is also delicious. There is a supermarket nearby.

Pros: The location of the hotel is good. This is a big hotel with many rooms. The terrace is super nice.
shortcoming:
1- But my room is separated from the noise of huge equipment, I don't know what it is, it is much more noisy than the refrigerator.
2- The corridors and restaurants don't turn on the heating very much, it's very cold.
3- The bed is relatively soft
4- But there is no parking space for taxis in front
Overall: 4 points
The price-performance ratio of more than 2,000 is not very high, but the level of the entire British hotel is incomparable with that of Asia, and this hotel cannot be blamed.

The staff were nice, the bed and the toilet was clean. However, the bathroom was dirty. The sleeping experience depends on the people in the room.
Mine was bad because people in the room with me was loud even at 11PM. There was a bar on the ground floor. There was also a kitchen for people to use which was nice. Do I recommend this? If you're saving money, yes. But i recommend bringing slippers to be more comfortable and a lock for your bag for safety.

GGuest UserApartment was very spacious and clean. Our bed was okay although the pillows could be better. We had a great time preparing our dinners here because many cooking tools are provided. There are two washing tablets for our three-night stay so we did have to get our own at a Sainsbury’s nearby since we did have more clothes to wash. The washer worked fine but the dryer somehow didn’t. We tried to use it three times but the clothes were still wet in the end. We had to hang dry our clothes in the closet after spinning them at a higher RPM, which was fine because they got all dry by the next morning. There’s also an app for the hotel that you can download where you can request services from the front desk, which I thought was a nice touch. Staff was generally friendly and the location of the apartment was close to several restaurants and a grocery store, and it’s not too far from the train station. I’d definitely consider staying here if I ever visit Edinburgh again.
DDorjiThe front desk staff was very welcoming after our late checking. He took us and showed us the room all by himself. Very nice guy. And yeh we got room upgraded.
The room was spacious, clean, very luxurious, bed was super good, pillow good, and the Aarn brand for shampoo and body lotion was amazing. Also the boss speaker inside the room was fantastic.
On the other hand the room were very dark. The fan in the rest room was loud. There was no room phone surprisingly.
And in the late night it gets bit loud. Can hear people talking outside.
Other than that we had a very homely feeling.
The room was the in the other side of the building, so there was no view.

ZZac Zhang**Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend!**
From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.
The location was perfect, close to
everything making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options each morning.
What stood out the most was the attention to detail and the genuine care from the staff. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

GGuest UserI had specifically requested a high-floor room during my booking at Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh, but unfortunately, I was assigned a room on the ground floor. This was quite disappointing as I was hoping for a better view, but the window offered no significant scenery. The room itself was decent and met basic expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The location is great, situated next to a shopping mall and very close to Princes Street, making it convenient for shopping and sightseeing. However, the experience was slightly marred by not receiving the room I had requested.
GGoh67Is very convenient for first timer in Edinburgh especially helping children to get ready on their university. Near tram/bus station to travel to city. A day ticket fixes everything. Supermarkets like Home Bargain, Aldi and Tesco are nearby to buy the household stuff. 20 mins from Airport very convenient.

GGuest Userstay at was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the staff went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable.
SSHAOSHANAt the beginning, I lived in a big bed room. The room was on the first floor and was small. I changed the suite the next day and brought my own garden and it was very comfortable. There is a small problem that the wifi signal is usually broken sometimes, but it is enough if you don't play the game. The front desk is very enthusiastic, thanks.
MMochishIt was my first time in a hostel and I had a comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable, place was clean, location was very central, I managed to walk to all tourist spots, location was very convenient as well for all your needs as its close to all restaurants, pubs , retail stores and stations. I had 3 amazing room mates, who were so mindful about the noise when I'm around esp sleeping. I think the only downside was as an asian, there was no bidet and lift (which was expected cos UK dont do bidet and the bldg was konda old so no stairs) and the mixed gender toilet/bath.
But over all It was a great stay, staff were accomodating and nice.
I left my perfume tho, hopefully the girls got it. Wont mind as they were super nice.
