Guest UserHad a fantastic stay at this B&B. The staff here were incredibly warm, polite, and attentive 🌹. The breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks were absolutely delicious and exactly to my taste. The surrounding environment was incredibly comfortable. Right downstairs, there's Chayan Yuese and Good Lemon. I grabbed a Good Lemon drink every day! It's also super convenient for getting around; taking a taxi or the subway 🚇 are both great options.

MumuwuyuThe hotel lobby and rooms are elegantly decorated, clean, and full of thoughtful details. A special shout-out to the staff, who were both lovely and incredibly welcoming. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the central business district with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, so you don't have to venture far. I was initially worried about noise in such a busy area, but to my surprise, it was incredibly quiet at night – not a peep. The staff even provided us with a guide to nearby attractions and restaurants and offered a complimentary hotel photoshoot. The breakfast was exquisite and delicious, and they also had wonderful afternoon tea and pastries. Plus, there was seafood congee available for a late-night snack – absolutely fantastic!
Our whole family unanimously gives this hotel a high recommendation. We'll definitely choose 'Yijian' again on our next visit to Changsha.

The location is excellent, close to Tianhong Wuyue and Sany Industrial Park, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and handling business. The front desk service was professional and efficient, with quick check-in and check-out processes. The staff were polite and friendly, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The room was clean and tidy, with good natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very restful night's sleep. The desk and chair were spacious, and the internet was stable and fast, allowing me to work without any issues. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, ample hot water, and a full set of toiletries.
The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety of options, combining Chinese and Western light meals, and tasted delicious. The public areas were quiet and clean, elevator wait times were short, and the soundproofing was excellent, so I wasn't disturbed by outside noise.

My recent two-night stay at The Jewel Hidden Valley was nothing short of wonderful. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this serene and culturally rich retreat provided the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home.
A special mention goes to ”Julie” and ”Zhang Kai Yi” (if I remember correctly), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Despite the rain, they selflessly helped us with our luggage all the way to our villa—a gesture that truly touched us. Zhang even took the time to personally walk us to the Tong Guan Kiln, which was about 8 minutes away, sharing interesting insights along the way. Their kindness and attentiveness were truly impressive.
The hotel’s design and layout are stunning, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings while maintaining a luxurious feel. Our villa was spacious, well-appointed, and immaculately clean, with high-quality amenities and toiletries that added to the comfort.
Breakfast was another highlight—the spread was extensive, offering a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. Every dish was fresh and flavorful, making it a great start to our days.
Overall, The Jewel Hidden Valley exceeded my expectations in every way. The peaceful ambiance, outstanding service, and attention to detail make it a hidden gem worth revisiting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet, culturally immersive getaway!

Guest UserThis was my second stay at W Changsha, and my three-day visit was incredibly satisfying. It will definitely be my top choice for future business trips. The hotel's location is fantastic, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options right downstairs. Getting to the high-speed train station and airport is also super convenient.
A special thank you to Manager Cherry, who thoughtfully upgraded me to a suite this time. It was spacious and comfortable, making my stay even more delightful than expected.
Throughout my entire stay, the hotel team consistently provided high-quality service. From check-in to every interaction during my visit, the staff were always warm, professional, and attentive. Whether it was proactively addressing my needs or handling various details, they made me feel completely at home. Room service was prompt and excellent. The service and care from Mila, Wendy, and Clara significantly enhanced my impression of W Changsha – helping with printing and delivering various items to my room, all handled wonderfully!
I particularly want to thank Cherry again. A minor issue during my last stay showed me her professionalism, efficiency, and approachable demeanor as a hotel manager. She genuinely considers guests' perspectives and resolves misunderstandings, which makes me want to choose W first whenever I return to Changsha.
W Changsha consistently maintains a very high standard, whether it's the hardware facilities, room quality, or service experience. It truly deserves its five-star rating. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Changsha and seeing Cherry and the excellent team once more!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended!

Guest UserThis hotel boasts excellent decor and service. From the moment I checked in, I experienced truly attentive hospitality. It's an absolute gem of a hotel! The high-altitude views are breathtaking, with the front desk located on the 39th floor and guest rooms even higher. The hotel also features charming, retro-style entrance doors. Both the hardware and software are top-notch. Breakfast is fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options, including freshly made 'maizi fen' noodles. The location is super convenient, very close to the city center, and there's a direct subway line to the high-speed train station. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. Every staff member has a smile, and the concierge proactively assists with luggage. The location is superb – if you're visiting Changsha, this is a must-book!

Traveling with my child this time, to avoid the hassle of switching hotels, I stayed at the JW Marriott on Furong Middle Road for four consecutive days. The overall experience was satisfactory. Here, I've categorized and organized the pros and cons for future reference.
**I. Advantages of the Stay**
1. **Excellent Location, Convenient Travel**
Initially, I was debating between Beichen Delta and Furong Middle Road, ultimately settling on this hotel. I liked that it offered a quiet retreat from the city bustle, away from the noise of the Wuyi business district, ensuring a peaceful night's rest. The hotel is about 130-150 meters from Tu Jia Chong Station on Metro Line 1, a five-minute walk. Getting a taxi right outside the hotel is very smooth, making travel to major attractions and the high-speed train station worry-free, perfectly suited for family trips.
2. **Outstanding Front-Line Service Reputation**
During check-in, the staff were warm and enthusiastic. Restaurant staff were gentle, polite, and provided meticulous service. The concierge was proactive in handling luggage, making the initial reception experience upon arrival very comfortable.
3. **Impressive Views from High-Floor Rooms**
I booked a high-floor room with dual windows overlooking the city. The two floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic city views, with different scenery day and night. Relaxing and enjoying the view helped alleviate travel fatigue.
**II. Shortcomings**
1. **Cumbersome Elevator Transfer Process**
You first need to take the elevator on the ground floor to the sky lobby on the 35th floor, and then transfer to another elevator to reach your guest room. If you have a lot of luggage or during peak hours, transferring elevators is particularly energy-consuming, greatly reducing convenience. This complicated elevator route also amplified the inconvenience when checking out.
2. **Noticeable Drop in Service Quality Post-Check-in**
While the reception during check-in was warm, there was a significant drop-off when checking out. I was dragging large luggage with my child from the 39th floor, transferring to the sky lobby on the 35th floor, and then changing elevators to the ground floor. Along the way, several staff members noticed us struggling with our luggage, but not a single one offered to help. This contrast in service attitude negatively impacted the check-out experience.
3. **Unreasonable Bathroom Layout Design**
The toilet area has a separate small sink, intended for handwashing after using the toilet. However, the sink is so small that water easily splashes onto clothes, making its practical utility low. The main wash area only has a single basin, which can lead to queuing for a family's morning and evening routines, making the family stay experience less than ideal.
4. **Toiletries Don't Match Brand Positioning**
The guest room still provides solid soap instead of bottled liquid hand soap, which doesn't align with JW Marriott's high-end positioning. Bath salts were only provided once on the first day of the stay, and subsequent daily replenishment was not automatic. If needed, we had to contact the front desk separately.
5. **Weak Food Supply in the Executive Lounge**
Although there are exclusive privilege periods like afternoon tea and happy hour, my experience after multiple visits was mediocre. Firstly, the supply of various soft drinks was insufficient, often leading to delays in replenishment. Secondly, the variety of snacks, desserts, and savory items was limited, and the food quality was rather ordinary, failing to meet the standards expected of a JW Marriott executive lounge, which significantly diminished the leisure experience.
