On a whim, I came to Changsha and chose the top-ranked hotel on Trip.com. The service was absolutely fantastic, I really don't understand how anyone could write a negative review. The staff were so warm and attentive. The breakfast and supper options were incredibly fresh, you can tell they put a lot of thought into it. We stayed for two nights and got to enjoy different dishes each day, which was a real treat. With two kids, we spent almost all our time at the hotel. Changsha was just too hot, so we could only go out in the evenings. Coming back to the hotel for supper after exploring was great, and it was really good value for money – they even prepared three servings for both breakfast and supper for us! Suggestion: The owner should consider getting a shuttle bus. There's a bit of a distance between the metro station and the hotel, which would also make it easier for the concierge to help with luggage.

I was drawn to this B&B's design, its quiet yet central location, and the amenities it offered, so I booked it with a 'let's see' attitude. My stay far exceeded my expectations and gave me many pleasant surprises! 👍 The service here is incredibly comfortable. Since the B&B is located in an alley with stone paths that make carrying luggage difficult, their butler proactively contacts you via WeChat beforehand to arrange a shuttle service. What surprised me most was their daily three meals – different every day and delivered to your room. The dishes are exquisite and taste great! I was also happy with the complimentary travel photoshoot. I've already recommended it to friends and it will be my first choice next time I visit!

True to the Crowne Plaza brand, the hotel's service was excellent, and the room's bedding was very comfortable. The service was warm and thoughtful; they prepared the room according to my requests in advance, which was a pleasant surprise. A big thank you to the Guest Relations Manager for their service! They even gave us a complimentary welcome teddy bear, which was adorable! This first stay gave me a truly amazing experience; it's the only hotel I'd want to stay in long-term. It's also very convenient in Changsha County and offers great value for money. From check-in to check-out, everything was incredibly comfortable. During my stay, the gym was open 24/7, and the pool was open until 11 PM. The pool was also spacious and comfortable—100 points! You could easily spend all your time relaxing at the hotel. With the hot summer weather, the hotel even provided free popsicles for guests, bringing back so many childhood memories. An old-school popsicle was incredibly refreshing! Thumbs up! It was a perfect two-day holiday, and I genuinely recommend everyone to come and experience it. Highly recommended!

My recent two-night stay at The Jewel Hidden Valley was nothing short of wonderful. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this serene and culturally rich retreat provided the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home. A special mention goes to ”Julie” and ”Zhang Kai Yi” (if I remember correctly), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Despite the rain, they selflessly helped us with our luggage all the way to our villa—a gesture that truly touched us. Zhang even took the time to personally walk us to the Tong Guan Kiln, which was about 8 minutes away, sharing interesting insights along the way. Their kindness and attentiveness were truly impressive. The hotel’s design and layout are stunning, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings while maintaining a luxurious feel. Our villa was spacious, well-appointed, and immaculately clean, with high-quality amenities and toiletries that added to the comfort. Breakfast was another highlight—the spread was extensive, offering a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. Every dish was fresh and flavorful, making it a great start to our days. Overall, The Jewel Hidden Valley exceeded my expectations in every way. The peaceful ambiance, outstanding service, and attention to detail make it a hidden gem worth revisiting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet, culturally immersive getaway!

My stay here exceeded expectations, it was truly relaxing and rejuvenating ✨ 🔹Exceptional Butler Service: The 24-hour butler service was incredibly responsive, meticulous, and thoughtful. From guiding me through check-in to handling requests, they were proactive and enthusiastic, paying attention to every detail, which made me feel incredibly welcome. 🔹Rich and Delicious Breakfast: The semi-buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options, blending Chinese and Western cuisine. The freshly prepared Changsha rice noodles and the semi-buffet items were authentic and fresh, satisfying my taste buds completely. 🔹Wonderful Late-Night Dessert: The surprising late-night sweet soup was delicately sweet and comforting with an excellent texture. Enjoying it late at night was particularly warming and soothing, adding a great touch to the ambiance. The hotel's environment is elegant and tranquil, and both the service and dining are impeccable. This hotel has a great design, and the staff are all very enthusiastic, patient, and caring with children. There was also professional supervision at the pool when the kids were swimming. The welcome dessert was particularly delicious! When I asked the staff how to buy more, the hotel sent another complimentary portion! A big shout-out for that! Overall, the hotel's service is excellent, and I want to especially commend Bonnie for her warm and attentive service. Furthermore, when I left something behind, the staff were proactive in helping me search for and follow up on it. Looking forward to my next stay~

This hotel boasts excellent decor and service. From the moment I checked in, I experienced truly attentive hospitality. It's an absolute gem of a hotel! The high-altitude views are breathtaking, with the front desk located on the 39th floor and guest rooms even higher. The hotel also features charming, retro-style entrance doors. Both the hardware and software are top-notch. Breakfast is fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options, including freshly made 'maizi fen' noodles. The location is super convenient, very close to the city center, and there's a direct subway line to the high-speed train station. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. Every staff member has a smile, and the concierge proactively assists with luggage. The location is superb – if you're visiting Changsha, this is a must-book!

The service was excellent, much better than the Westin Chongqing QAQ. However, the breakfast attendant was quite rude; when I asked a question, she responded with a dismissive 'hello.' The bed was very comfortable, but the 36th floor had a strong formaldehyde smell, so we had to urgently switch rooms in the middle of the night. I'd like to 'commend' the duty manager, a short-haired lady who was working the night shift on July 18th (26th year), for her quick response. She immediately arranged for a new room and even offered complimentary afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge. Her attitude was excellent, and the recovery was prompt, which was truly impressive. Additionally, I'd like to 'praise' Hans (pictured on the business card below). He patiently waited with our luggage while we changed rooms. We were moving for two hours, but he still waited with a smile. His service was very pleasant and much appreciated, and it definitely improved my perception of Westin's service quality.

This summer, I chose this hotel again for my trip to Changsha, having stayed here before and had a good experience! However, they've added a very thick mattress topper, so you can't feel the support of the actual mattress, and the duvet cover is stiff, making a loud noise every time you turn over. I booked an executive room for two nights. My child loves the little cakes at the lounge's afternoon tea. The main reason for the bad review is the unfriendly female staff in the lounge. What was most frustrating was that my child wanted a small cake, and we arrived a bit early. I asked if they could give my child one small cake. They said the fresh ones weren't ready. We waited for a long time, from 1 PM until 2:10 PM, and asked three times, but they just kept saying they weren't ready. Not a single staff member bothered to check the kitchen for cakes or offer a solution; they just repeated that the fresh ones weren't ready. We were the only table seated in the lounge at the time, and the staff weren't busy at all! I find it hard to believe that a Marriott five-star luxury hotel kitchen couldn't produce a single small cake for a child after waiting for over an hour! They were just sticking to the exact time. When I checked out and complained to them, the cakes immediately appeared, just as we were leaving. What's the point of offering them then, and even giving extra goodies to my child? We waited at the hotel for over an hour and asked the staff three times, only to be told the cakes weren't ready! What's the use of offering them after we've already left? We didn't choose to stay at Marriott for freebies! They just refused to bring out the small cakes until the exact time! I will never book this Marriott hotel again! The ladies who worked here before were very kind to children. Now, they even skimp on the welcome fruit!
