"The room was very spacious and comfortable. I initially thought it might be noisy given its proximity to the high-speed train station, but it was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was quite good. The front desk staff were always incredibly helpful and accommodating. The facilities are comprehensive and thoughtfully designed, so much so that our kids didn't want to leave! Its location is fantastic, just steps away from Shizijie Night Market and Luoyi Ancient City, making it super convenient for exploring, dining, and sightseeing. "I've stayed at three hotels in Luoyang, and this one offered the worst value for money.
Nothing was offered upon check-in. During check-out, the front desk staff was overly enthusiastic, offering a small gift (a few pastries). As soon as I thanked her, she immediately asked us to give a 5-star review on the spot. I said I'd review it later, but she insisted we do it immediately, explaining it was for a performance assessment by her supervisor. I really disliked this. It makes me wonder if their high ratings are gamed this way.
The room rate was over 500 RMB, much more expensive than Zhongzhou Hotel just a few hundred meters away, and even pricier than the 5-star Dongshan Hotel. I had expected something premium, but it felt more like an unsophisticated guesthouse. The other two hotels were cheaper but offered more professional and warmer service, plus complimentary fruit and snacks.

😀 Pros:
1. The quality of the in-room amenities was quite good. The slippers, made of cotton and linen, were very comfortable; I even kept them to use at subsequent hotels.
2. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation. Having a laundry room with a dryer was very convenient.
3. The buffet breakfast was delicious.
😩 Cons:
1. The soundproofing in the room was extremely poor. The family next door woke up before 6 AM, and I could clearly hear their conversations, even their yawns. The staff's attitude wasn't exactly warm; they got the job done but lacked a genuinely professional and welcoming demeanor. When we checked in with two children, they didn't offer extra slippers or toothbrushes. This wasn't a huge issue, as we had brought our own, but this indifference, especially when contrasted with the forced 'enthusiasm' at check-out, was off-putting.
2. I'm not sure if it was just the layout, but the family room felt cramped and had a strange configuration.
3. The decor wasn't grand or tasteful, which wasn't to my liking."

"I rarely write reviews, but this was my first time in Luoyang. After looking at many hotels and guesthouses, I ultimately decided on Fengye with some hesitation. However, I was genuinely not disappointed! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the elevators were efficient, and the room amenities were also very new. The location is absolutely unbeatable – it's only a few minutes' walk from Jiefang Road subway station, at the intersection of two subway lines, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. There's a shopping mall right downstairs, placing it firmly in the city center. I'll definitely stay here again!"

"It was my first time staying at Orange Hotel, and the experience was beyond my expectations. Both the lobby and the room are bright orange, giving people a warm and comfortable feeling. The room has everything you need, including a large-screen TV, automatic curtains, a dry and wet separated toilet and bathroom, and a large table for eating, which is much better than many hotels that only have a small round table. You can order your favorite takeout, and the cute delivery robot will deliver it to your door and playfully ask you for a good review. The hotel service is excellent, the service staff are very friendly and kind, and they gave us a small gift when we checked in. The hotel has a gym and a self-service laundry room. Luggage that needs to be stored can also be placed in the luggage lockers. You can store and access luggage by swiping your ID card, which is very convenient. The breakfast is also good. Although it is not particularly rich, it has all the necessary categories, and different dishes are updated every day.
Because it is an orange-themed hotel, many things are inseparable from oranges. There are free oranges and orange juice for guests to try in the lobby. The shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and even the toothpaste in the room are all orange-flavored. If you don't like orange flavor, you'll need to prepare these things yourself.

"I must praise the room I booked this time. The room rates in Luoyang during the National Day holiday were very high. I spent a lot of time choosing this hotel. You can get there by bike or electric bike. There is a subway station one kilometer away. It takes 7 stops to reach Longmen High-speed Railway Station. Not far from Xigong Street is Xiaojie Tianfu and other restaurants. It is very convenient to eat. The best thing is that there are two single beds and a bunk bed in the room, which is very friendly for a family of 3 or 4 people. The bathroom is very flush! It is very comfortable to take a shower. The best thing is the lighting system. The interface is simple and easy to operate. Unlike some hotels, you have to press this and that for a long time. There is a voice-controlled sensor light at the door of the bathroom, which is very convenient for people like me who get up at night. Upon check-in, they helped carry my luggage to my room, and each evening, a complimentary 'goodnight ice jelly dessert' was delivered. The staff also offered a daily laundry service, washing, drying, and neatly bagging my clothes – truly going above and beyond. The front desk staff were incredibly patient in answering all my questions and even assisted me in comparing different options to find the best value. My absolute favorite feature was the rocking chair on the room's balcony, where I loved to unwind and just 'zone out' every day. Overall, this hotel offered fantastic value for money, and I highly recommend it!"

NNicDThis is a very nice hotel which is great value for money. The location is great, just around the corner from a large mall (Wangfujing) and lots of restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the little place with 'Chinese Hamburger' on the sign on the road behind the hotel building - they have an English menu and do great roujiamo - they even have a vegetarian 'sujiamo'! We got an upgrade on check in and the room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaners and reception staff were generally polite and helpful. The breakfast was Chinese but was fresh, different every day, and any food that ran out at busy times was always quickly replenished. The free laundry was very convenient and the machines were easy to use. We did have two issues which made staying there a bit inconvenient though. The first was that when the underground car park was full cars could no longer get past the barrier, meaning they couldn't drive up to reception. This was a problem since the road outside was flooded and meant that we had to load and unload suitcases while standing in deep puddles in the pouring rain. The second issue was the keycards: every day we would come back to our room and the keycard wouldn't work. We complained at reception every single day about this issue but it was never resolved.

GGuest UserThis hotel has become a popular check-in hotel with design elements (logs, linen, plants). The interior furnishings are simple and elegant, and the overall design style is indeed quite good.
The breakfast varieties are basically made of seasonal ingredients, and the cooking method is healthy and delicious.
The toiletries are attentive and sophisticated.
The only drawback is that the room was upgraded without prior communication, but it did not match the needs.

GGuest UserThe service was excellent. I arrived just after 9 AM, and they were able to check me in right away, several hours ahead of schedule. The evening congee was also quite good. The laundry service was also excellent; even though it's officially self-service, if you leave your dirty clothes in the laundry room, the staff will proactively wash, dry, and return them to your room. The location is also great; in the evening, you can take a 5-minute walk to Peony Bridge to admire the night view of the Luo River.

You can always trust Atour's bedding👍🏻It has complete facilities, cleanliness and convenient transportation. It is highly recommended. There is beef soup that I want to eat for breakfast. GGuest UserDespite my younger brother's strong recommendation, I usually lean towards Huazhu Group hotels (I've been a loyal customer since Hanting, then Ji, Orange, and Crystal Orange first opened). Every guest has different expectations, and no hotel can cater to all. This was my first time staying at Atour, and while it certainly has its pros and cons (which many others have already pointed out), I'd like to share my personal experience.
1. Upon check-in, four of us were checking in, but only two welcome drinks were offered, which was a bit disappointing.
2. Being used to Ji and Orange hotels, I habitually asked if breakfast was complimentary. The answer was no; it was over 300 RMB for four people daily, discounted to a little over 200 RMB. As we were staying for three days, tended to wake up late, and ate lightly, we decided against it. The staff member processing our request gave us a rather disdainful look (though I might be overthinking it). In fairness, we didn't even partake in the complimentary evening porridge, so we're not ones to take something just because it's free. (chuckle)
3. I actually came with the intention of experiencing the hotel's bedding and perhaps buying some pillows to take home, but the soundproofing was so poor that I didn't get a single good night's sleep.
4. We woke up late and bought mung bean porridge and fried dough sticks from outside. With no small dining table available, we had to eat on the bed, which was quite uncomfortable.
5. The hotel didn't inform us about any of its amenities or services. For instance, they had a chain coffee brand available, yet we spent a considerable amount of time searching for one outside. We also had no idea about the fruit-infused tea that was tucked away behind the lobby.
6. The TV and movie features were quite substandard. While I could overlook the fact that international access didn't work, even casting from domestic phones was impossible.
7. Water stains on the bathroom vanity couldn't be wiped away with the hotel towels; we had to resort to using tissue paper. The sink itself could also use an upgrade or replacement.

It takes less than 10 yuan to take a taxi to Lijingmen, Yingtianmen, and Shizijie... It is less than 1000 meters to Zhuangyuanhong restaurant. PPKdelvjuLongyue Hotel is located in a really good location, near the northwest entrance of Longmen Grottoes. It is easy to reach the scenic spot on foot, especially suitable for staying after a night tour in summer. The overall environment of the hotel is clean and sanitary, which makes people feel at ease. However, it should be noted that the surrounding dining options are relatively limited, so it is recommended to bring some dry food with you in case of emergency.
