During this season, you can pick Li Guang apricots, wash them right by the pool, and eat them fresh – so tasty! ✔️ The stay includes a complimentary travel photoshoot and refined edits. The in-house photo studio also offers paid makeup and styling, which was done beautifully – absolutely stunning and great for photos. ✔️ The showerhead is Hansgrohe. Our room had a bathtub, and both the bed and sofa were very comfortable. Both the hardware and software are excellent. ✔️ The hotel provides afternoon tea with dried fruits, fresh fruit, and tea – very relaxing. ✔️ Each room has a dedicated butler service, and any request is quickly attended to. ✔️ In the evening, there's a sweet soup for goodnight. It's also very close to Dunhuang Night Market by car, so it's great to refuel after a good stroll. ✔️ The set breakfast offers a rich variety: mini wontons, congee, bread, sausages, fried eggs, fruit, milk, yogurt, and apricot peel tea. Room service is also available. ✔️ The hotel has a swimming pool with swimming rings provided. The lounge area is under apricot trees, and the poolside environment is fantastic. You can go for a swim when the sun isn't too strong. ✔️ Upon departure, there's a farewell gift, a special souvenir from Dunhuang. Overall, I just loved it. Honestly, I can't think of anything that needs improvement! ✨️

This was my first stop in China and I’m so happy that I stayed in Dunhuang at Baibaili Hotel. I was looked after so well, the hospitality of the staff extended many times for several necessities and I’m touched by their hospitality. This will for a very long time, be my remarkable first impression of China, its people and their culture. The location is perfect if you want to stay a bit further out from town and enjoy the silence of being closer to the desert and the stunning design of the place. Beautiful and comfortable room, all the final touches refined every day and after 24 hrs of travelling; a generous fruit and snack plate that grounded me sweetly into Dunhuang upon arrival and farewelled me just after mid-autumn with a beautiful moon cake. The Atour Hotel (Dunhuang Shazhou Night Market North Gate) is absolutely the best accommodation in Dunhuang! It's right downstairs to the night market, making it super convenient for food and shopping, and a short taxi ride to all major attractions. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, proactively explaining travel routes and even providing shoe covers. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have excellent soundproofing, with incredibly comfortable bedding. The laundry and shoe drying facilities are a godsend for desert travel, and the breakfast offers a fantastic array of local specialty snacks. It's a rare find – quiet and comfortable despite being in the heart of the bustling city, with impeccable service details and fantastic value for money. If you're coming to Dunhuang, book this place with your eyes closed!

Our stay at the Aisting Hotel during our self-driving trip to Dunhuang far exceeded our expectations! First, it's very car-friendly with a large parking lot and dedicated staff to guide you, making coming and going easy. Second, the staff are all incredibly spirited, enthusiastic, and attentive. Third, they pay attention to details, providing a humidifier and plenty of drinking water in the room. Fourth, the facilities are excellent, with smart home features throughout, zero-pressure mattresses, and a self-service laundry room. It's incredibly good value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Dunhuang!

There are actually many hotels in Dunhuang, and many of them have similar names, so it's crucial to be very careful when booking to avoid reserving the wrong one. This Grand Metropark Hotel is located right by the main road, making its location very prominent. Dining options nearby are also very convenient, with a relatively famous restaurant directly across the street. The hotel rooms are spacious and very bright. What's most worth mentioning is that they provide foot-soaking tubs and disposable foot-soaking bags. For tourists who have been tirelessly exploring Dunhuang, soaking your feet is truly a great way to relieve stress and feel comfortable. While there are many hotels near the Dunhuang Night Market, this particular hotel is only about a five-minute walk from it. The staff are all excellent and actively respond to your needs. This hotel is highly recommended.

Location: Located near the Feitian landmark, within one kilometer of the night market, offering a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city.

This stay was absolutely delightful! I was initially worried about the location being a bit out of the way, so I only booked one night. To my surprise, getting a taxi on the first night was super easy, so we extended our stay. While there aren't other guesthouses right around ours, we noticed a whole street full of guesthouses nearby, which seemed crowded and noisy. At night, lying in bed, you can hear the wind brushing against the walls, but it's not loud; it actually feels like being in harmony with nature. My husband and I also went gold panning – if you find gold coins, you can exchange them for prizes. We went enthusiastically, expecting a small sandbox like in a park, but it was a massive area! **Mingsha Mountain View Afternoon Tea:** The chilled apricot peel tea was delicious. **Fengmingsha Desert Restaurant - 30% off coupon for set meals:** After we landed, the butler collected our luggage and told us hotpot was ready, just waiting for us to freshen up and eat. The lamb wasn't ***** at all, and the dipping sauce was really tasty.

I chose this hotel for my trip, and the room was thoughtfully furnished. The twin beds were very spacious, and two adults could comfortably stay in one room. The bedding was clean, pure white, soft and gentle on the skin, and provided just the right amount of support. After a long day of business travel, I could fall asleep immediately. The upholstered headboard was a thoughtful touch, preventing discomfort when using my phone at night. The placement of power outlets and switches was also very convenient, making charging and controlling the lights easy. The hotel's attention to detail was evident; the throw pillows and bed runner were stylishly coordinated, not the generic hotel furnishings, but rather a comfortable and inviting touch. There was also a lounge chair by the window, perfect for relaxing in the afternoon sun or enjoying a cup of tea. Cleanliness was impeccable. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless and odorless, the floors and surfaces were impeccably clean, and the bathroom was spotless and tidy, giving me peace of mind. The staff were also very attentive, checking me in quickly and patiently answering any questions. Overall, the service was excellent, making me feel very comfortable. It's very close to the museum and Crescent Lake, making it very convenient to get around and providing a great experience. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend choosing this place!

Absolutely loved this hotel! The service was excellent, and the breakfast offered a great variety. The room was spacious, and we even got a free upgrade. The location is fantastic – just cross the Dunhuang Mother River in front, and you'll find all sorts of restaurants with good prices. They have a laundry room, making it incredible value for money. Plus, with the desert heat, having unlimited bottled water was such a thoughtful and considerate touch. A truly caring hotel!

We made a mistake choosing this hotel: the word “international” led us to believe it would be better prepared to receive foreign guests, but that was not our experience. That said, the staff’s service was excellent at all times. Although they did not speak English, they consistently made the effort to use translation tools to communicate with us and assist us in the best possible way, which we truly appreciated. The hotel was almost empty. The first breakfast took place in a huge dining area where we were the only guests, which meant the variety was quite limited. There was some Chinese food and a coffee machine, but there were no options commonly expected by international travelers, such as fruit, cereals, yogurt, or bread. That same day, we were informed that the rest of the breakfasts would be delivered directly to our room. The staff made a continuous effort to ensure we felt comfortable with this arrangement, confirming the delivery time with us each day. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, the cleanliness did not match the hotel’s level and price: the carpet had visible stains, and finding a toothpick at the entrance made it clear that cleaning standards were not adequate. In addition, the amount of shampoo and soap provided was extremely limited—again, not consistent with the quality one would expect given the building and overall appearance of the hotel. In summary, we would like to highlight the kindness and dedication of the staff, but we believe the hotel still has important aspects to improve, especially regarding international standards and cleanliness.
