GGuest UserTake the kids for a change of scenery! This B&B in Dunhuang is perfect for bringing kids. Any photo you take will turn it into a life-like portrait!
1. The rooms have a unique design, and I love the overall style. The bed in the family room is huge, and my two adults and two children slept very comfortably. The first-floor exterior view is beyond stunning, and any photo you take is a masterpiece. It feels so luxurious. The room is clean and well-lit. It's a perfect vacation for kids in Dunhuang!
2. I was initially worried about smells and other issues with the new renovations, but after arriving, I realized that this wasn't an issue at all. Full marks!
3. We arrived during dinner time, and unexpectedly, the B&B had food available. We ordered a few dishes, and they were surprisingly delicious. I recommend the fish and the big plate chicken—incredibly delicious!
4. The hotel's amenities, including amenities and appliances, are all very complete. They even have a capsule coffee machine. For someone like me who works in an office every day, daily coffee is a must! ☕️ This is truly a must-have! 💕
5. Staying here with children is hands-free; they can play in the pool and sandpit all day without leaving the house!
This stay was truly wonderful. I'll be back!

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay here. From the very first moment we entered the home stay we felt welcomed. Every day we received a delicious fruit plate. The breakfast was really delicious as well with lots of fresh cooked vegetables. Our girls loved the friendly little white dog (they named her Snowy). The host family suggested us things to do in the area and even drove us to the entrance. The room was exactly like at the picture, cozy and clean. We are sad that we could not stay longer but we definitely want to come back one day!

GGuest UserGreat atmosphere. The tent/bedding was much cleaner than expected despite being in the middle of desert . The heater works well. The owner took his time to take great care of us (noted that we didn’t go during high-season); very service-minded. He took us to/from airports and different tourist spots. Also provided us with many additional activities (not excluded in the initial program of camel riding) such as ATV riding, sand hill sliding, firework. The hotpot/grill dinner was delicious! Overall we were very impressed with everything.

We were thoughtfully upgraded to a better room because we were traveling with children, and the attention to detail was heartwarming. Breakfast was especially considerate of our little one, and the cleanliness was impeccable; the housekeeping staff were incredibly attentive. Every staff member we encountered was warm and attentive, making for a flawless experience. The hotel's location is superb, very close to the Dunhuang Night Market and major attractions, making travel incredibly convenient. We were so satisfied that we extended our stay multiple times… If we ever visit Dunhuang again, this will definitely be our top choice!

DDaofeng006During the May Day holiday, we traveled to Dunhuang. The hotel was very unique, located in the desert, with a typical Northwest and Xinjiang folk house style, yet it exuded a sense of elegance. The room facilities were complete, and the service was thoughtful. There were a few things that pleasantly surprised me: first, they proactively provided and covered the bathtub with a liner; second, they offered a complimentary laundry service once; and although breakfast officially ended at 10:30 AM, they were considerate of late sleepers and still provided a rich breakfast spread even after the cut-off time. While the breakfast options were limited, they were exquisite and distinctive, leaving us very satisfied. The hotel's travel photography service is highly recommended; the results were excellent – it would be a shame to miss it! Overall, Dunhuang is a very worthwhile travel destination. We spent four nights and three full days, which was quite leisurely. On the first day, we visited Yumenguan Pass and Yadan National Geological Park. We set off around noon and these two spots were conveniently located in the same direction. At Yumenguan Pass, we only explored the Small Square City and didn't go further. Then we headed to Yadan. I recommend chartering a car for the tour, as it offers much more freedom. Otherwise, taking a taxi means a two-hour journey each way. A private car allows you to see some hidden gems and control your time, as most of the scenery is somewhat similar, and too much can lead to aesthetic fatigue. On the second day, we went to the Mogao Grottoes. Remember to book tickets in advance; ours was for 3 PM. First, you watch a film at the digital center, then take their provided transport to the grottoes. Each group is assigned a guide who explains everything during the tour. This model is excellent as it protects the cultural relics while allowing you to appreciate their essence. I recommend it to those visiting Xi'an's Terracotta Army, so you don't just see a sea of tourists' heads. On the last day, after 4 PM, we went to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring. The sun wasn't as intense then, and you can buy tickets at the entrance anytime. The scenery was magnificent, and Crescent Spring was beautiful; I was surprised at how well it's preserved. We skipped the evening's large chorus as we weren't young enough for that. In general, Dunhuang is indeed a great place to visit, and it's well worth coming here. Don't worry about the service; the local government is very dedicated. Lastly, Dunhuang Night Market, also known as Shazhou Night Market, is worth a try for its flavors and atmosphere.

GGuest UserThe room was great, clean and tidy, with a window, smart assistant (XiaoDu), and a mini-fridge. The location is also excellent, right across from the City Hall. To the left, it's close to the Dunhuang Planning Bureau, and to the right, just across the street, is the Dunhuang Bookstore, both of which are popular spots. It's also very close to Shazhou Night Market, easily walkable, and the night views are lovely. It's also near Dunhuang Wujie and Dunhuang Yinju, and the Dunhuang Museum is nearby too.

The room boasts a minimalist yet sophisticated cream-toned design. The stark white walls paired with an arched floor-to-ceiling window look incredibly stylish, and the natural light is amazing – pulling back the curtains makes the room bright and comfortable. The twin beds were soft and clean, with flat, skin-friendly bedding; just lying down melted my fatigue away.
The corner decor is very tasteful, with an irregularly shaped lounge chair, an artistic side table, and candlestick ornaments adding so much detail and perfectly setting the mood. The TV clarity was great, making it super relaxing to curl up in the room and watch cartoons.
The entire place was spotless and odor-free, the decor felt high-quality, and the environment was quiet and cozy. It’s perfect whether you're traveling or just staying for a bit. The value for money is incredible – I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

AAnonymous UserThere were a lot of people in the hotel lobby on the night of check-in. The front desk said that they had received a study tour group of 500 people, which delayed the check-in time. To express their apology, the front desk gave me some souvenirs and promised to take me to the night market in the evening. They were really sincere and I could see that the service awareness came from the heart and was not forced through training.

Its location on Mingshan Road is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk to Shazhou Night Market, making it incredibly convenient for dining, drinking, and exploring. Opened in 2024, the decor is simple yet grand, with a touch of the Silk Road, and the public areas are great for photos. The room was clean and bright, the bedding soft, and the humidifier was a thoughtful touch, making even the dry Northwest weather comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and professional, and they offer free shuttle service, parking, laundry room, and a gym. Overall, a perfect experience – I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Dunhuang!

Upon check-in, we received complimentary fruit, and every day there was breakfast and exquisite afternoon tea. In the evenings, they even offered healthy dessert soups. The bar has free freshly ground coffee and a different variety of teas daily. When heading out, they provide thoughtful sunscreen reminders, and if you forget to apply it, you don't even need to go back to your room because the front desk always has sunscreen spray available. The staff also carefully recommended nearby attractions and delicious food. All the staff were incredibly responsive – actually, more like they anticipated our needs. This is truly a hotel you won't want to leave. Highly, highly recommend!
