This stay far exceeded my expectations! The overall environment was clean and quiet, with excellent natural light and views, and the room was spotless. All necessary amenities were provided, so there was no need to buy anything extra. The smart home design was a pleasant surprise; I could control all the devices with just my voice, which was incredibly high-tech and made my stay relaxing and comfortable. The owner was exceptionally kind, warm, and attentive, always available whenever I needed help – truly thoughtful and reliable.

Finally got to experience the highly anticipated star tent, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations! I was initially worried that tent accommodations would be basic, but each one was a standalone unit with a private bathroom, separate wet and dry areas, 24-hour hot water, and quality toiletries. The tent itself was spacious, the large bed was incredibly soft, and you could open the skylight to stargaze. We could clearly see the Milky Way with the naked eye at night. Each tent was spaced far apart, ensuring maximum privacy and no worries about noise. Our butler was always on call, proactively bringing mosquito repellent and hot drinks, and breakfast featured fresh local specialties. During the day, we enjoyed the mountain/desert views from the deck, and in the evening, we waited for the sunset. It was incredibly relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle, perfect for both couples and those looking for a short getaway. Highly recommend!

Out of our 9-day trip along the Qinghai-Gansu Loop, this homestay was our family's absolute favorite. It's a place with real heart and soul, where every detail is thoughtfully considered. Even our five-year-old said he'd give this hotel 30 stars! The homestay has a great design aesthetic, and the rooms are spotless, perfectly matching the tastes and ideas of younger travelers. We always bring our own disposable toiletries when we travel, but here, everything was already provided in the room. I also really loved the landlady – she's just one of those people you instantly like, and it was so comfortable interacting with her. From the moment we checked into the homestay in Dunhuang, we had such a positive impression of the city. Even though our stay was brief, it's full of beautiful memories. When we were leaving, she found out my child liked apricots and even gave him some from her own yard, which was incredibly touching. The breakfast offered a wide variety, and it was all very enjoyable. I truly recommend this homestay if you're coming to Dunhuang. I hope everyone gets to experience the genuine warmth and hospitality during their travels here. Their raisins are also highly recommended!

A cozy B&B by Mingsha Mountain with an amazing lamb noodle soup for breakfast! I booked this ”No. 23 Courtyard” through Trip.com in Dunhuang, and it exceeded my expectations. Definitely deserves a great review. 📍Location: It's very close to Mingsha Mountain Scenic Area, only a 7-yuan taxi ride away. Super convenient for catching both sunset and sunrise, saving a lot of travel time. 🏡Environment: There's a charming little courtyard. I had breakfast sitting under a tree one morning, and the owner and his daughter (just home for vacation) even picked some local specialty Li Guang apricots for us to try, sharing an interesting legend. Although I heard a few dog barks at night (their dog Chopper was on duty!), the owner explained it was foxes visiting, which actually added a touch of wilderness charm. 🛏️Accommodation: The room was clean and tidy, and very quiet at night. A pleasant surprise was the fully automatic, heated smart toilet. The towels were also thick, new plush ones, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. 🍜Breakfast: It's a set menu, and I have to rave about the lamb noodle soup – fresh, delicious, and warming. The five-spice tea eggs were also very flavorful. The owner eats the same food as the guests, which shows the quality of the ingredients. 🍵Afternoon Tea: They surprisingly offer it for free, which is rare for a B&B. Big plus! Overall, it's a comfortable, clean B&B with a family-like atmosphere and great value for money. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Dunhuang.

Great atmosphere. The tent/bedding was much cleaner than expected despite being in the middle of desert . The heater works well. The owner took his time to take great care of us (noted that we didn’t go during high-season); very service-minded. He took us to/from airports and different tourist spots. Also provided us with many additional activities (not excluded in the initial program of camel riding) such as ATV riding, sand hill sliding, firework. The hotpot/grill dinner was delicious! This was my first stop in China and I’m so happy that I stayed in Dunhuang at Baibaili Hotel. I was looked after so well, the hospitality of the staff extended many times for several necessities and I’m touched by their hospitality. This will for a very long time, be my remarkable first impression of China, its people and their culture. The location is perfect if you want to stay a bit further out from town and enjoy the silence of being closer to the desert and the stunning design of the place. Beautiful and comfortable room, all the final touches refined every day and after 24 hrs of travelling; a generous fruit and snack plate that grounded me sweetly into Dunhuang upon arrival and farewelled me just after mid-autumn with a beautiful moon cake. 1. The hotel offers a complimentary airport pick-up service, and from the moment I was greeted, I could feel the staff's warm hospitality. 2. I absolutely loved the hotel's 'wild luxury' aesthetic – it's simple yet grand, with a unique and pleasant aroma. 3. The hotel's travel photography service is outstanding! I got the best set of photos I've ever had. Both the makeup artist and photographer were incredibly professional. I was instantly thrilled with the retouched photos just 5 minutes after the shoot, and even more delighted to learn they'd spend another three days on meticulous post-processing. The terrace above the lobby offers a fantastic photo op, especially with the red canopy against the desert backdrop – it's truly magnificent and a unique scene. 4. Given how dry Dunhuang is, the hotel thoughtfully provided complimentary face masks and lotion. 5. They also offered a free transfer to my next hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel to those who drive to Dunhuang with their kids. It has a bathtub, which the kids love very much. The room facilities are very complete, the environment is very good, and it is not far from the attractions. Every service staff is very enthusiastic, especially the lobby manager. Yogurt is given when you check in, and plush toys are given when you check out. The kids like it very much and said they will stay here again next time. Highly recommended. Very cost-effective.

Staying at this place in Dunhuang was such a pleasant surprise! First off, the overall environment is incredibly clean, and the style is unique. The room amenities are comprehensive, with thoughtful touches like eye masks and earplugs. The smart home controls throughout the room were a huge plus for someone as lazy as me! And I was thrilled to find that the toiletries were Diptyque, a brand I actually use myself – it instantly made me feel right at home and relaxed. We also got to experience making fun mud slab paintings at the guesthouse, which was a fantastic hands-on activity that made our leisure time incredibly fulfilling. Lastly, a big shout-out to the staff; they were attentive and enthusiastic without being intrusive, always providing just the right amount of care. The breakfast and afternoon tea were also very generous; my friend and I couldn't even finish it all! The entire stay was relaxing and enjoyable. If our itinerary hadn't been so tight, I honestly would have loved to stay a few more nights.

The room was large, spacious, and bright. The customer service manager, Anna, contacted us a day in advance to arrange airport pickup, which was a very thoughtful touch. Upon arrival, she was incredibly attentive, arranging a perfectly located room that our child absolutely loved. We also received a fruit voucher and complimentary breakfast. Considering that other hotels like all-season are priced at 800-900 during the summer holidays, the Sheraton offers excellent value for money. It's also just over a kilometer from the Dunhuang Night Market in the city center. Highly recommended!
