The service was exceedingly good at ZhongZhou hotel. I stayed with my wife and had a second room for my daughter and son in law. The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers). This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

The second time I stayed in this hotel, the service was still excellent. When I first checked in a few years ago, the return flight the next day was very early. When I set foot on the land of Dunhuang again in 2025, this is still my first choice. I arrived at the hotel at 10 o'clock in the morning. I wanted to store my luggage first, but I didn't expect the front desk to help me check in early. The surprise came again, and it exceeded my expectations again. The hotel's breakfast is rich and varied. I like beef noodles and mutton soup the most. It's really great. The restaurant also launched a one-person set meal on **, which perfectly solves the trouble of wanting rich dishes but fearing waste when dining alone. It's really thoughtful. However, the hotel is large in scale. It is about 2 kilometers from the gate to the front desk of Building 2. It is very convenient to drive by yourself, but it is not very convenient to call a taxi. Taxi drivers are often unwilling to accept orders from Mogao Grottoes or the railway station because the distance is too close. But this is not a problem. The hotel is very close to the Mogao Grottoes Visitor Center. You can take the hotel's battery car to the gate and walk for about 10 minutes to arrive. The performances of ”Seeing Dunhuang Again” and ”Music Dunhuang” that must be seen in Dunhuang are also next to the Mogao Grottoes Visitor Center, so it is very convenient. After watching the show, walk to the hotel gate. The doorman will enthusiastically help call a free battery car, which easily solves the little troubles of traveling. I have to say that the service training of the hotel staff is quite in place. Every employee will take the initiative to smile and greet the guests when they see them, help press the elevator and open the door, which makes people feel warm. The hotel is in a good location, with many restaurants around, including Fanji Jingyuan Lamb and Alibaba Barbecue recommended by Xiaohongshu, with many choices. The hotel has its own parking lot, and the service is also very good. There are also thoughtful gifts, and the room is also equipped with snacks and drinks, which is very comfortable. There are also many types of breakfast. The only thing to mention is that the details of hygiene need to be improved, but it may be that there are too many people during the National Day, which is understandable. It will be ok if it is strengthened a little more in the future. I will choose to stay here if I have the chance in the future!

Location is very ideal, along a pleasant Main Street, around 5 to 8 mins walk to night market, yet away from the rowdiness of tourists. Just opposite there are convenience shops, a western bakery (Angelia) and stretch of small restaurants in an alley which are of good quality. Front desk services are fantastic especially helpful for foreigners ( though they don’t speak English- try to use e-translator), regarding local attractions and getting a cab for you if encounter difficulties. They are genuinely helpful to try to overcome your difficulties. Special mention on Ya Jin who even asked her regular taxi driver to accompany us to buy the Mogao Grottoes tickets and arranged for a long distance taxi trip to Liuyuan South Railway station. Wang Na also offered her WeChat contact number if we have difficulties coming back at night. Really warm hospitality. Even the hotel driver who fetched us from the airport was nice(complimentary service). The housekeepers are too hardworking. Only complain I have is the breakfast which served exactly the same thing every morning and of limited choices. Thus Angelia bakery just opposite was really a good alternative.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is very convenient to drive to Mogao Grottoes and Crescent Lake in Mingsha Mountain. The room is very clean, and the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas. The front desk lady Huang is very enthusiastic. She contacted me by phone and WeChat before check-in to upgrade the room, and told me in detail how to park at the hotel. After check-in, she also recommended delicious food in Dunhuang to me. The room is well soundproofed and does not affect sleep. The shower was amazing, hot and strong. I stayed in Dunhuang for two nights and wanted to see Ledong Dunhuang. Xiao Huang helped me buy a ticket for the second night. Not only was it much cheaper than Ctrip, but I was also upgraded to VIP and got the best seat. The little camel given by the hotel when checking out is of very good quality. It is obvious that it was made with care. My children like it very much. It is of better quality than those bought in scenic spots. I will choose Amy again next time I have the chance.

She cleaned the room very clean and tidy every day, and put the items in the most convenient place for the guests.
