I stayed at Building 3 of Dunhuang International Hotel. I went out with my children. The hotel is very big and the scenery in the park is so beautiful. It was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and had a good attitude. When I checked out on the 3rd, Huihui and Xiaoqian at the front desk gave my children a very interesting souvenir, a camel. The children were very happy and will stay at Dunhuang International Hotel next time. [Happy][Happy][Happy][Rose][Rose][Rose][Rose] But Dunhuang is really boring and not fun.

Very affordable and great value for money with all the helpful front staff to housekeeping.
Just around the corner is the street food with lots of restaurants n the Shahzhou nite Market is just 15 minutes walk away.

The location was also absolutely ideal with good food and shopping nearby. The rooms itself had comfy beds, big spacious lockers, good airconditioner, and enough room for multiple people. The showers and chilling area were also really nice. And not to forget, the dogs were absolutely adorable and very friendly!! One of the best hostels I have been to in a while.

The door of the bathroom is not sealed very well and some water will leak out. The tatami bedroom has a large open dining bar and an open clothes drying rack on the wall next to it. The tatami bed is marked 2 meters, but it looks like more than 2 meters to me. It is a very big bed. The mattress is soft and elastic and very comfortable. The pillows are moderately soft and elastic. The bedding is clean. There is a curtain on the wall opposite the bed. , there is a small table on the ground, and the curtain needs to be downloaded to make it clear~
The environment is great: the lady at the front desk will greet you when you enter the store. She is polite and has a good attitude. She will try her best to meet your needs. The lobby has a comfortable seating area, as well as self-service fruit (now Xinjiang apples and oranges, dried cherry tomatoes and raisins), self-service drink area (coffee machine, kettle, dried roses, dried chrysanthemums, dried lemon slices, wolfberry, tea, rock sugar etc.), and there are beautiful navel-baring clothing from the Western Regions at the entrance of the elevator (free to rent, but you need to pay 30 yuan for laundry fee, summer clothes will be cold in winter🥶). JJonnyBWhen we arrived at 930pm there was loud construction next door and didn't stop till after 1230am both on the first night and 3rd night. Very loud and difficult to sleep. Room was ok but bed was very hard like sleeping on wood. Breakfast was Chinese breakfast and just mediocre. Hotel advertised a gym , spa and sauna. Gym was 2 small machines stuck in the corner of the 2nd floor out in the open. I could not find the spa or sauna so I asked the front desk and was told ”no have”. I discovered later the next night the spa is outside of the hotel and not affiliated with the hotel. Won't stay here again

Convenient for walking to the city center with shopping, banks etc. Easy to find the rental car. The breakfast buffet were plentiful with different foods for both Chinese and Westerner tastes, the only negative thing bout the breakfast is the lousy & very think coffee served during the breakfast. The hotel restaurant is closed for dinner, we found some nice local ones nearby, one of them on the river side with great night light show. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The double room was full of smoky stink!! As we arrived very late, we were told there is no other room available. The hotel should have separated rooms for smokers and non-smoking.

ZZhanghuaiyangIt was a completely unexpected state guesthouse-level experience. Since its construction in 1979, the hotel has received many dignitaries and VIPs as a state guesthouse. The murals in the lobby of the north building and the flying fairy in the lobby of the south building are definitely national treasures, and can be called the first cave of Mogao Grottoes. Although the rooms of the old four-star hotel are small and the equipment and facilities are a bit old, the hygiene is very good and the service is very considerate. The breakfast alone is 40 per person, which is a little expensive, but the quality is beyond reproach, especially the fried dough sticks, which are absolutely state banquet-level, and the beef noodles are the standard answer to Lanzhou beef noodles. In the off-season, you can enjoy the state guesthouse at a relatively low price, which is great value!

GGuest UserIt was my first time to travel to Dunhuang and I chose this hotel. I stayed for a week. It was really a plus for the trip. The hotel environment is clean and has a retro resort style. The layout of the room is elegant without losing the mood. The service is attentive and incomparable. Comfortable. There is no need to mention the details of the room. The service is particularly good. After cleaning, the room service staff will thoughtfully leave a greeting card. The front desk is also very good. Fruits and Dunhuang specialty preserved fruits are placed in the room. I have to say that the details are really warm. Heart. The hotel also has a restaurant. The dishes prepared by the chef are really good and very cost-effective. The mutton must be given a thumbs up👍👍👍

GGuest UserThe hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake scenic area, and can be reached on foot. It is easy to check in the beautiful scenery in the morning and evening. For people like me who love to visit scenic spots but don't want to travel, it is perfect. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the cost performance is super high. I highly recommend it!

NNikky_zNew renovate hotel, this hotel just open (new renovate from the old hotel) 2 weeks. Overall hotel is fine and nice facilities but some amenities is missing. we need to request for shower cap and others from the front desk as they not arrange in the room. This hotel claim as 4 star but not provide any tea bag in the room when we ask the staff they said that hotel just open and the vendor still not sent T_T. Hope this could preparation in the future. I booked this hotel with free breakfast privilege's trip.com . The breakfast is very simple, free is ok but not worth if need additional charge.
