The next morning, the staff not only packed the breakfast in advance, but also sent it to the door of the room attentively. Such meticulous service completely exceeded my expectations. So the second time I came to Dunhuang, I decided to book this without hesitation, but unfortunately the room was full during the peak season and I couldn't book it. When I set foot on the land of Dunhuang again in 2025, this is still my first choice. I arrived at the hotel at 10 o'clock in the morning. I wanted to store my luggage first, but I didn't expect the front desk to help me check in early. The surprise came again, and it exceeded my expectations again. The hotel's breakfast is rich and varied. I like beef noodles and mutton soup the most. It's really great. The restaurant also launched a one-person set meal on **, which perfectly solves the trouble of wanting rich dishes but fearing waste when dining alone. It's really thoughtful. However, the hotel is large in scale. It is about 2 kilometers from the gate to the front desk of Building 2. It is very convenient to drive by yourself, but it is not very convenient to call a taxi. Taxi drivers are often unwilling to accept orders from Mogao Grottoes or the railway station because the distance is too close. But this is not a problem. The hotel is very close to the Mogao Grottoes Visitor Center. You can take the hotel's battery car to the gate and walk for about 10 minutes to arrive. The performances of ”Seeing Dunhuang Again” and ”Music Dunhuang” that must be seen in Dunhuang are also next to the Mogao Grottoes Visitor Center, so it is very convenient. After watching the show, walk to the hotel gate. The doorman will enthusiastically help call a free battery car, which easily solves the little troubles of traveling. I have to say that the service training of the hotel staff is quite in place. Every employee will take the initiative to smile and greet the guests when they see them, help press the elevator and open the door, which makes people feel warm. This stay experience is still full marks, looking forward to the next reunion!

Strategically located to stage to places of interest: like Dunhuang spring crescent n also Mogao Grottoes. Within 20minutes. Very affordable and great value for money with all the helpful front staff to housekeeping. Just around the corner is the street food with lots of restaurants n the Shahzhou nite Market is just 15 minutes walk away. I highly recommend anyone wishing to come to Dunhuang seeking reasonable and quality accommodation to stay here.

I stayed at his hotel during my first two visits to Dunhuang. The hotel environment is very good and parking is convenient. On the second day of my stay, I encountered sandstorms and the hotel staff helped me wash my car. I took my children to visit the Dunhuang Museum, Crescent Lake, and rode a camel. The experience was very good. The Shazhou Night Market is also very good.

It is a wise choice to stay at Tianhe Hotel when you come to Dunhuang! It is close to the city center, quiet in the bustling city, and a flying statue stands in the middle of the magnificent lobby. The room is also large and clean, and a foot bath bag is provided every day. The buffet breakfast starts at 7:30, which is very rich, with vegetables, fruits and special noodles. The price is really beautiful when you come to stay in the off-season, and the service is super considerate. Thank you very much to Tian Xiaozhuan, the waiter in charge of our floor. He was afraid that we were not used to the dry climate here, so he gave us many bottles of mineral water every day, and asked if it was enough. He replenished anything that was missing quickly and enthusiastically. The hotel yard is super large, and it is also convenient to park by car. It is also great to watch the stars in the yard at night.

New renovate hotel, this hotel just open (new renovate from the old hotel) 2 weeks. Overall hotel is fine and nice facilities but some amenities is missing. we need to request for shower cap and others from the front desk as they not arrange in the room. This hotel claim as 4 star but not provide any tea bag in the room when we ask the staff they said that hotel just open and the vendor still not sent T_T. Hope this could preparation in the future. I booked this hotel with free breakfast privilege's trip.com . The breakfast is very simple, free is ok but not worth if need additional charge.

There is a large parking lot next to it, suitable for self-driving accommodation. The service is good and the staff are enthusiastic and proactive. The room facilities are also better, the room is relatively spacious, there is a free upgrade to the room type, and snacks are also given. The hotel staff took the initiative to help us solve the problem, which was very nice. If I have the opportunity to return to Dunhuang in the future, I will stay at Furama.

We got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly. Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also. Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area. The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out. I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.

When we arrived at 930pm there was loud construction next door and didn't stop till after 1230am both on the first night and 3rd night. Very loud and difficult to sleep. Room was ok but bed was very hard like sleeping on wood. Breakfast was Chinese breakfast and just mediocre. Hotel advertised a gym , spa and sauna. Gym was 2 small machines stuck in the corner of the 2nd floor out in the open. I could not find the spa or sauna so I asked the front desk and was told ”no have”. I discovered later the next night the spa is outside of the hotel and not affiliated with the hotel. Won't stay here again
