We are impressed with the hotel. Whatever we write, it will still be not enough, because it is a real jewel in every aspect. The room was luxuriously furnished and extremely cozy. Inside there is everything you need for a perfect and comfortable stay and rest. Even the smallest details, both functional and aesthetic, have been considered. There were snacks and water in the room as a compliment from the hotel. On the 5th floor there is a self-service laundry room and dryer available to guests. The cleanliness is perfect. The breakfast is rich and has both European and Asian offerings. The location is very convenient. There are many restaurants nearby, and the beautiful central part is also within walking distance. We are grateful to the entire staff for the excellent service and kind attitude. Every single person of the team does his job perfectly well. The only thing we regret is that we did not have more time to enjoy this wonderful place. We wish the entire team health and good luck. Always be so kind and keep this high level service.

I stayed at Dunhuang Yuntian International Hotel for two nights from August 23rd to 25th, and I absolutely have to give it a rave review! I took the train from Lanzhou to Dunhuang. I had informed the hotel of my train number in advance, and to my surprise, they arranged a complimentary pick-up service. As soon as I exited the station, I saw the driver holding a sign waiting for me, and he even helped carry my luggage to the car. This start alone earned them major bonus points. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, right next to Shazhou Night Market, just a few minutes' walk away. In the evenings, after exploring the night market, enjoying some BBQ, drinking apricot peel water, and buying souvenirs, I could just stroll back to the hotel. No need to worry about finding a taxi or walking too far. The bus to Mingsha Mountain stops right at the entrance, and a taxi to Mogao Grottoes only takes about ten minutes, making it super convenient for sightseeing. I chose a room with a humidifier. Dunhuang is naturally dry in August, and with the humidifier on, sleeping was so much more comfortable; I didn't wake up in the middle of the night with a dry throat. The mattress was a zero-pressure type; you just sink into it, and I slept incredibly well. The hot water came on quickly, and the vanity thoughtfully provided disposable facial towels, which is a nice touch for women. The front desk staff were also very friendly and check-in was fast. Breakfast starts at 7 AM and includes freshly ground coffee, yogurt, fruits, and local snacks. It's great not to have to go out hungry early in the morning looking for food, especially useful for those heading to Mogao Grottoes early. Overall, for this price, to stay in the city center with pick-up service, a rich breakfast, and a clean, comfortable room, the value for money is truly high. I genuinely recommend this place for solo travelers or those bringing family to Dunhuang. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Absolutely loved this hotel! The service was excellent, and the breakfast offered a great variety. The room was spacious, and we even got a free upgrade. The location is fantastic – just cross the Dunhuang Mother River in front, and you'll find all sorts of restaurants with good prices. They have a laundry room, making it incredible value for money. Plus, with the desert heat, having unlimited bottled water was such a thoughtful and considerate touch. A truly caring hotel!

The free apricot peel tea on the first floor of this hotel was actually better than the one I bought outside, so what did I even pay for? 😂😂😂 The room was clean and tidy, with no strange smells. I'm very particular about smells when I stay in hotels because I have a child with severe rhinitis. Luckily, there was no cigarette smoke or other odors. The location is excellent, right below a night market with lots of food and drinks, and vendors selling scarves, accessories, and such. It's very lively, and you can haggle with the stall owners if you want to buy something.

On our self-driving trip through the Hexi Corridor, we arrived in Dunhuang. Choosing a hotel in Dunhuang was incredibly difficult, especially traveling with family and needing three rooms. Luxury hotels were severely overpriced, and since we'd be out exploring all day, spending around 3000 yuan felt like very poor value for money. I looked through all the top-rated hotels and guesthouses in Dunhuang, and every single one had negative reviews. Many of the five-star hotels in Dunhuang seemed quite dated, and even four-star hotels had issues. For example, Zhongzhou had old rooms, Binhe International had difficult parking outside, and the V-Garden had a KTV on the third floor. It was genuinely so hard to choose. Finally, I picked a few hotels with decent reputations and flexible cancellation policies, planning to view the rooms in person before deciding. When we arrived in Dunhuang, the first places we ruled out were the guesthouses; their conditions generally looked quite mediocre. Next, we eliminated Zhongzhou International. From the outside, it looked like it primarily catered to tour groups, was right by the road, surrounded by shops, and appeared a bit dated. We then went to a hotel called Geyue Courtyard. Its location was extremely remote, surrounded by construction sites and repair shops – a huge turn-off immediately. The entrance was also cramped, and entering through a side door, we saw construction debris everywhere. We promptly turned around and left. Next, we went to Binhe International. The service was excellent, and they arranged a room for us, but there was a barbecue restaurant right next to the main entrance, and the rooms were quite small and cramped. We finally decided to check out the Huaxia International Hotel. Initially, I was very worried about the online reviews regarding the hotel's service and its age. However, when we arrived at the hotel lobby, it was noticeably more spacious and brighter compared to the previous hotels we'd seen. In particular, a gentleman at the front desk (I forgot to get his name) was incredibly patient. When I asked to see the rooms, they patiently showed us around, and we eventually selected a room we were happy with. During our stay, all the staff were professional and polite. Dinner at the restaurant, though simple, was of assured quality. Hu Cailian from customer service was also very responsive to all our requests and always greeted us with a smile, making our stay very comfortable. It's also incredibly close to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring, which is very convenient. You can park your car directly in the spacious parking lot right in front of the hotel. While some room types might be older and some newer, the hotel is clearly working hard and strives to meet everyone's needs. Highly recommended.

The hotel's internal facilities are a bit old, but they are clean and tidy. Two bottles of apricot peel tea were given as a gift on the first night. The foot bath provided every night was so thoughtful and washed away the fatigue of the day. Disadvantages: Dunhuang is very dry, but the humidifier in the hotel room is very noisy. The consequence of not turning on the humidifier is that you will have a nosebleed every morning.

Checked in on New Year's Eve. Two wind towels were given as a gift when I checked in. I took a photo of it specially because it was my favorite color, hehe. Cleanliness: The room was surprisingly clean. No weird smell. Facilities: Free toiletries are provided. The bathroom is spacious. The eco-friendly slippers are comfortable, but you can’t take them away. Environment: Entering the hall, it is cozy, warm and the heating is very good. Service: The beauties in the lobby are enthusiastic and warm. To emphasize, heating is very good in winter. The bedding was clean and tidy. We stayed for two days and went out to the scenic spot on the second day. They cleaned and tidied the room without any request. It is convenient to eat. There is an authentic beef noodle restaurant opposite the hotel, a convenience store next door, and a large supermarket around the corner, which is open on New Year's Eve. A perfect trip to Dunhuang! Dunhuang of the world, where my heart longs for!

Visiting Dunhuang in spring was an absolute delight! The city is incredibly clean and tidy, with well-organized streets, making for an excellent overall experience. The hotel I stayed at offered top-notch service, was spotlessly clean, and paid attention to every little detail, making me feel very comfortable and secure. And the food? Oh, I have to rave about the food! The donkey meat yellow noodles were perfectly chewy and flavorful, the Huyang焖饼 (braised lamb pancake) was rich and fragrant, and to top it all off, a glass of Li Guang apricot peel water was refreshing and cut through the richness. It was all full of authentic local flavors. Beautiful scenery, a clean city, great accommodation, and delicious food—Dunhuang is definitely worth another visit!

Overall, the rooms are decent, though the air conditioning in some rooms isn't very effective. The service was quite good; upon arrival, I received a welcome kit with useful items like a toilet seat cover, sand-proof towel, mosquito repellent bracelet, hand cream, tissues, and wet wipes. Laundry rooms are available on floors 2 to 5, featuring drying areas and ironing facilities. It would be even better if they could increase the number of washing machines to four, as having only one per floor isn't ideal, especially since not every floor has a laundry room. Additionally, the shower stalls are a bit too transparent, and there's no shelf to place personal toiletries or clothes. Despite these points, my overall experience was quite good.

I recently took my family to Dunhuang and we stayed at the Dunhuang Tianhe Hotel for five nights. Overall, I found the facilities impressive and the service incredibly warm, making it a perfect choice for families. The room size was very generous, with high ceilings, so there was no cramped feeling at all. Staying for five nights, there was ample space for all our luggage and activities, and the kids had room to play. 👨👩👧👦 Thoughtful and Attentive Family-Friendly Services I especially want to commend the hotel's service. For five consecutive days, the room service was meticulous. Every evening, after a tiring day of playing at Mingsha Mountain, the hotel thoughtfully prepared foot-soaking tubs and hot water for us. Soaking our feet after a day in the desert was incredibly refreshing – anyone who's tried it knows how effective it is! For families with young children, the hotel also offers family rooms and a kids' club. 🌳 Ambiance and Location Are a Plus The hotel boasts a Han-Tang style garden design, incorporating elements of Dunhuang culture, giving it a very grand appearance. It's also conveniently located right next to the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring Scenic Area, making it very easy to get to the attractions. After five nights, the service, room size, and family-friendliness were all excellent. It's a reliable choice for a family trip to Dunhuang. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Dunhuang.
