I stayed at Building 3 of Dunhuang International Hotel. I went out with my children. The hotel is very big and the scenery in the park is so beautiful. It was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and had a good attitude. When I checked out on the 3rd, Huihui and Xiaoqian at the front desk gave my children a very interesting souvenir, a camel. The children were very happy and will stay at Dunhuang International Hotel next time. [Happy][Happy][Happy][Rose][Rose][Rose][Rose] But Dunhuang is really boring and not fun.

This was a great hotel for us! The room was quiet and comfortable. Even though they don’t have non-smoking rooms, they gave our room a treatment to remove any smoke odors, and we didn’t smell any smoke! However, sometimes we saw people smoking in the halls near the elevator doors which was unpleasant, or in the restaurant which was also unpleasant. But overall, it didn’t bother us. The breakfast was good except for the terrible coffee which did not even taste like coffee. The service is very good though, with friendly and kind staff. And they have very good clothes washing machines available to guests, for free. It was very helpful! I would stay here again.

This time I stayed at Dunhuang Silk Road Yijun Hotel and the experience was great! The hotel has an elegant and comfortable environment, complete facilities and a convenient location, making it very convenient to go to Mogao Grottoes or Mingsha Mountain.
Two staff members should be particularly commended:
1. **Front desk clerk Yan**——Super good service attitude, warm and thoughtful, making people feel very cordial from check-in to check-out. Whether it was helping with the luggage or patiently answering our travel suggestions, they made us feel at home. There was also a lady at the front desk who had a pale and slightly round face and was very enthusiastic. We had a great stay. Location is literally next to the night market (this means that it can get a little noisy but if you don't want that then don't stay near a night market). The room is large, clean and with all the amendities. There a guy working there who speaks a little bit of English and the staff is very friendly. We only had a little miscommunication. Upon leaving we wanted to know where the bus to the train station left (if it was the same location as where we arrived with the bus). And the lady for the hotel insisted that there was no bus and that we should take a taxi. Just so you know, there is a bus (or shared-van for I think when it is not high season) for 5 yuan from behind the Dunhuang hotel. It starts at 8.30 and stops at 17.30. Besides that we would still recommend this hotel!

Metropark is a nice hotel located near a river and is relatively central to the city. A lovely staff member, 李雪 (Li Xue) helped me check in and she took me to my hotel room. She was extremely helpful and friendly.
The hotel room is very spacious, clean and quite luxurious. The hotel is within walking distance to the night market and the museum.
Highly recommended.

I took my family on the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop. It can be said that this is the most satisfactory hotel I stayed in. Because we had a lot of luggage, two hotel staff helped us carry the luggage throughout the trip. It was drizzling when we left the next day. We could walk directly from the restaurant to the parking lot without getting wet. It was very nice. We booked a child-friendly parent-child room and gave the child a camel doll. Although it was the same style as the one I bought, the child liked it very much and had a lot of fun in the room. We also went to the Shazhou Night Market and were very satisfied with the food.

My flight was delayed in the evening, and I had contacted the hotel a day in advance to arrange for a pick-up. When the flight landed, I received a call from the driver. After I picked up my luggage, I saw the driver waiting at the exit.
When we arrived at the hotel, Xiao Ren and Xiao Tian greeted us warmly and we quickly completed the check-in procedures. The room is clean, comfortable and refreshing, and there is Xiaodu. She could understand my instructions even though I spoke poor Mandarin.
The breakfast was also good, with fried eggs, beef noodles (this was the first time I saw the different types: thin, fine, three-thin, chive leaf and wide), cold dishes, hot dishes, bread, cake, fruit, coffee, juice, yogurt, etc.
Because of a party, we had to stay in another hotel for one night. I booked this hotel again without hesitation before checking out. I discussed with the front desk clerk Xiao Ren to store my luggage here so I don’t have to move it back when I check in the next day.
Will definitely stay again next time I come.

Service: Very friendly. After parking the car, the hotel helped to carry the luggage in. Fruits were prepared in the room, and drinks were available. It was really generous! There was also a washing machine available.
Facilities: There are projectors, electric toilets, etc., all good
The most important thing is that the hotel is very close to Mingsha Mountain, and you can walk there without worrying about traffic jams. We went there on the first night. There were really 10,000 people at the concert. After the show, we walked back easily without worrying about not being able to get a taxi or traffic jams. The next morning, we went to play the beach project again. There were not many people in the morning, and there was no need to queue up for camel riding. After playing, we went back to take a shower and check out at noon. It was really convenient.

The facilities are complete, the bedding and supplies are good, and it is clean and hygienic. The lady at the front desk will greet you proactively, and when you arrive at the door, someone will open it for you. The floor attendants are also very enthusiastic. The hotel is in a good location. About five minutes away is the Shazhou Night Market, a popular check-in spot for internet celebrities. There is also a very large supermarket with a full range of items, including hats and jackets, various snacks, and rich fruits. It is much better than the night market.

Facilities: The facilities are complete, mainly the hotel room is equipped with a humidifier, which is very considerate for people who are not used to the dry weather in Dunhuang.
Hygiene: The bedding, bath towels, and bathroom are very clean. After staying in the room and going out to play, the room will be cleaned and the bath towels will be changed every day.

SSaharathThe hotel location is good, right in the city center. The exterior may look like an ordinary modern Chinese hotel but the guest room interior is quite nice. Modern with lots of electrical outlets.
The breakfast is simple but tastes really good. The best for this China trip for me.
The hotel also has a free pickup and dropoff service from/to Dunhuang Airport and Dunhuang Railway Station.
One of a few drawbacks for me is the shower room design. I mean construction wise, not decoration wise. Even though there is a circumference groove on the shower room floor to drain water, the swinging glass shower door leaves space at the bottom, causing water to spill outside and pool on the floor. The floor is marbled so it could be slippery.
Another is that even though I had the hotel's WeChat account and had tried to contact them, as I thought I would be able to use the translation function on the app, I was not able to reach anyone or get any response.

HHeong Siew YinLocation is very ideal, along a pleasant Main Street, around 5 to 8 mins walk to night market, yet away from the rowdiness of tourists. Just opposite there are convenience shops, a western bakery (Angelia) and stretch of small restaurants in an alley which are of good quality.
Front desk services are fantastic especially helpful for foreigners ( though they don’t speak English- try to use e-translator), regarding local attractions and getting a cab for you if encounter difficulties. They are genuinely helpful to try to overcome your difficulties. Special mention on Ya Jin who even asked her regular taxi driver to accompany us to buy the Mogao Grottoes tickets and arranged for a long distance taxi trip to Liuyuan South Railway station. Wang Na also offered her WeChat contact number if we have difficulties coming back at night. Really warm hospitality.
Even the hotel driver who fetched us from the airport was nice(complimentary service). The housekeepers are too hardworking.
Only complain I have is the breakfast which served exactly the same thing every morning and of limited choices. Thus Angelia bakery just opposite was really a good alternative.

On the first day, I just got off the sleeper train and arrived at the hotel at around 7 o'clock. The front desk Xiao Chen checked in very enthusiastically and upgraded the room type so that we could check in and rest in time.
The hotel has a pick-up service. After communicating with Xiaoya and Xiaogao at the front desk, they helped to contact Master Liang to deliver the car. They also said that they could pack two breakfasts. They were very enthusiastic.
Master Liang, who delivered the car, was very punctual and told us in advance what time we could leave. His attitude was very friendly and the car was clean and tidy.
There was also a small episode in the morning. When the master sent us to the high-speed rail station to get off, the mobile phone in my pocket slipped onto the seat and I didn't see it. After entering the station, I found it and quickly called the hotel front desk. The front desk contacted Master Liang in time. Master Liang delivered the phone to the high-speed rail station very quickly. Thank you very much to the hotel front desk and Master Liang!

It is really clean, well organised and once we arrived the lady at reception upgraded the room we booked ( the budget one with no window) to one with the window and so we decided to extend our stay.
All the people working here are nice, helpful and with a big and wonderful smile
