"The hotel is well located in city center and provides complimentary pick up/drop off service from train station. There is a direct bus which goes to mogao caves right in front the hotel- making self transport a breeze. Room is spacious and nicely designed with a large bath tub.
Apart from the hotel hardware, what really stood out was the extra mile services offered by the staff. There are 2 staff who really shine.
Firstly, Ms tong tong （彤彤）was very patient in explaining all the touristy sites around and how to get there. She helped us book performance tickets so we could enjoy some discounts. When we enquired about transfer to liu yuan, she not only checked for all the information online for us but also personally went to the bus station to find a driver who goes to liuyuan. We're so impressed with her extra mile service!! Really kudos to her great personality and service.
Next staff to mention is Mr li (李师傅）who picked us up at the train station. He suggested some dining places to us and offered to drop us off at mogao caves when we bumped into him at the hotel lobby.
Overall, highly recommend to stay at this hotel."

"This B&B was really a good choice! The breakfast was just right for me. The porridge was glutinous, the side dishes were refreshing, and there were freshly made yellow noodles, hot and fragrant. "Overall satisfied. Room is large enough and clean. Service was very good. Breakfast only Chinese choices, there are some bread and coffee but not considered as western breakfast. As it is in Dunhuang, not much expected and it was OK for few days. Only things we did not like were shower and spot light type light in the bathroom. Water flow of the shower was OK but the water temperature always changed and not possible to adjust to an appropriate temperature.
One important thing I need to mention. My international VISA card was not accepted. I was lucky as I had a Union Pay card."

When staying in the wilderness, the first thing is to look at the scenery. The scenery of the desert hills is not to mention. Although it is at the foot of the mountain, it is still refreshing.
It’s also great to take photos in an open space. They gave us guidance on how to take pictures of the starry sky and provided a mobile phone holder. It was great. PS. If you come here, be sure to ask the housekeeper or the boss for a candlelight lantern (the store will provide it for free). The atmosphere for taking photos is great. Got it
In terms of meals, we ordered a barbecue from the store and ate on the terrace of the room (four people can sit on it, and if more than four people eat on the sand below the terrace)

He was very enthusiastic to help us book tickets for ”See You Again Dunhuang”, helped us book a taxi for the pick-up station 🚖, and organized us to watch the moon together at night. The store owner is a photography enthusiast with a big golden retriever 🐕. He lent us a cowboy hat and Rose to take pictures at Mingsha Mountain. The point is: the homestay is only a few hundred meters away from the middle gate of Mingsha Mountain, which is super close to satisfy us to watch the sunrise and sunset of Mingsha Mountain.

GGuest UserGreat atmosphere. The tent/bedding was much cleaner than expected despite being in the middle of desert . The heater works well. The owner took his time to take great care of us (noted that we didn’t go during high-season); very service-minded. He took us to/from airports and different tourist spots. Also provided us with many additional activities (not excluded in the initial program of camel riding) such as ATV riding, sand hill sliding, firework. The hotpot/grill dinner was delicious! Overall we were very impressed with everything.

GGuest UserI saw the vineyard when I selected a homestay online, so I quickly contacted the owner, who was very enthusiastic and met me at the station. You know how happy it is to have someone meet you at the station when you go out with the elderly and children🥰
The sanitation is super clean, and the family is very capable. You can eat at the inn, and the owner's mother cooks for you herself. The vegetables are grown by herself, and you can pick grapes when you leave the room. Every time I come to the Qinghai-Gansu line, my mouth gets blisters, and I count on coming here to supplement my vitamins! All the meals we had at the B&B were very delicious. The children ate until they were full every day, and the eggs were very, very big.
The boss helped me contact Dunhuang for the A ticket. Although the peak season had passed, it still needed to be booked a long time in advance. I contacted the boss only one day in advance. GGuest UserThe last stop of Zhejiang's self-driving Northwest Great Ring Road, a very pleasant stay, convenient parking, clean and hygienic. It’s also convenient to walk to the middle gate of Mingsha Mountain. There are many special delicacies downstairs, and my wife and daughter were also very satisfied with the flying photos taken in the ”Nayu Flower Room” downstairs of the B&B. Bargaining cantaloupes on the roadside for four for ten yuan, super sweet!

Riding a camel through the sand dunes and watching the sunrise and sunset are extremely beautiful; sand sliding and desert motorcycles bring full of dynamism and vitality. The hotel service is even more remarkable. From the moment of booking, there is a dedicated person to contact you. During the tour, you can take photos and give instructions. The details are very attentive. The experience is great and must be praised!

HHeong Siew YinLocation is very ideal, along a pleasant Main Street, around 5 to 8 mins walk to night market, yet away from the rowdiness of tourists. Just opposite there are convenience shops, a western bakery (Angelia) and stretch of small restaurants in an alley which are of good quality.
Front desk services are fantastic especially helpful for foreigners ( though they don’t speak English- try to use e-translator), regarding local attractions and getting a cab for you if encounter difficulties. They are genuinely helpful to try to overcome your difficulties. Special mention on Ya Jin who even asked her regular taxi driver to accompany us to buy the Mogao Grottoes tickets and arranged for a long distance taxi trip to Liuyuan South Railway station. Wang Na also offered her WeChat contact number if we have difficulties coming back at night. Really warm hospitality.
Even the hotel driver who fetched us from the airport was nice(complimentary service). The housekeepers are too hardworking.
Only complain I have is the breakfast which served exactly the same thing every morning and of limited choices. Thus Angelia bakery just opposite was really a good alternative.

It's a 5-minute walk from the scenic spot. There are many fruit trees on the road, especially Li Guangxing, which is delicious and super sweet. It is worth mentioning that the rooftop rooftop is very comfortable. You can sit on the rooftop while ordering food and watch the desert and the sunrise. It is simply beautiful. The boss is very enthusiastic. The hotel has comprehensive facilities. You can also do laundry and dry it quickly outside in the yard.
