This was a great hotel for us! The room was quiet and comfortable. Even though they don’t have non-smoking rooms, they gave our room a treatment to remove any smoke odors, and we didn’t smell any smoke! However, sometimes we saw people smoking in the halls near the elevator doors which was unpleasant, or in the restaurant which was also unpleasant. But overall, it didn’t bother us. The breakfast was good except for the terrible coffee which did not even taste like coffee. The service is very good though, with friendly and kind staff. And they have very good clothes washing machines available to guests, for free. It was very helpful! I would stay here again.

I stayed at Building 3 of Dunhuang International Hotel. I went out with my children. The hotel is very big and the scenery in the park is so beautiful. It was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and had a good attitude. When I checked out on the 3rd, Huihui and Xiaoqian at the front desk gave my children a very interesting souvenir, a camel. The children were very happy and will stay at Dunhuang International Hotel next time. [Happy][Happy][Happy][Rose][Rose][Rose][Rose] But Dunhuang is really boring and not fun.

The hotel's breakfast is quite good, with many varieties and good taste. The hotel is in a good location, and it only costs more than ten yuan to take a taxi to Mingsha Mountain. You can walk or take the bus to Shazhou Night Market.

Metropark is a nice hotel located near a river and is relatively central to the city. A lovely staff member, 李雪 (Li Xue) helped me check in and she took me to my hotel room. She was extremely helpful and friendly.
The hotel room is very spacious, clean and quite luxurious. The hotel is within walking distance to the night market and the museum.
Highly recommended.

We had a great stay. Location is literally next to the night market (this means that it can get a little noisy but if you don't want that then don't stay near a night market). The room is large, clean and with all the amendities. There a guy working there who speaks a little bit of English and the staff is very friendly. We only had a little miscommunication. Upon leaving we wanted to know where the bus to the train station left (if it was the same location as where we arrived with the bus). And the lady for the hotel insisted that there was no bus and that we should take a taxi. Just so you know, there is a bus (or shared-van for I think when it is not high season) for 5 yuan from behind the Dunhuang hotel. It starts at 8.30 and stops at 17.30. Besides that we would still recommend this hotel!

This hotel has the best environment. I later changed to a 4-star hotel and stayed there for a day. I finally realized the difference. You get what you pay for. This hotel has super good service attitude. There is air conditioning in this weather. The accommodation environment is also new and clean. It is very good. It can also pick up and drop off at the airport. Xiaotian and Xiaoren at the front desk are enthusiastic in service.

The hotel is in a good location and the service is very warm. The staff member Chen Lingling contacted us two days before check-in and was very considerate to help arrange the airport shuttle and communicate the details of check-in. After check-in, the room service Yang Xiufen also reminded us to eat every day and arranged room service every night, which was very attentive and thoughtful. This is a homestay hotel. The room is very large and spacious. Although it is a standard room, it has two 1.5-meter beds, so the whole family can live comfortably. It is a smart room with a high-end smart toilet and a very large shower room. The most important thing is that the shower water here is the largest among all the hotels I have stayed in during my trip to the northwest, so the shower is very comfortable. I absolutely love living here! It is no exaggeration, it has been a long time since I have stayed in a homestay with such a good environment and such a good service attitude. It is the store I will come to again! No loss in shares, strong Amway. It can only be said that whoever does not eat this wave of Amway will be sad!
Amenities: The room has a humidifier and even ear plugs. It is really conscientious to have a humidifier in the Northwest. God knows that southerners need a humidifier when traveling in the Northwest!
Hygiene: The cleaning is very neat and clean, the towels are disposable, and there are toilet mats, which are really safe and hygienic.
Environment: The environment is my favorite place! His house has a small yard with lots of camping benches to sit on and apricot and pear trees. You can also see the camel caravan passing by the door. The most exciting thing is that his house has a big terrace! It is very romantic to lie on the terrace late at night and watch the sky full of stars. It is the first time in my life to see the Big Dipper with my naked eyes.
Service: I have to say that the service attitude is first-class. The sister at the front desk is super gentle, patiently answering our questions, helping with luggage, and recommending food and itineraries for us. The proprietress is also very kind and easy to chat with. Oh, his family also prepared welcome fruits and snacks, the fruits are very fresh and delicious😋

Service: Very friendly. After parking the car, the hotel helped to carry the luggage in. Fruits were prepared in the room, and drinks were available. It was really generous! There was also a washing machine available.

The most important thing is that the hotel is very close to Mingsha Mountain, and you can walk there without worrying about traffic jams. We went there on the first night. There were really 10,000 people at the concert. After the show, we walked back easily without worrying about not being able to get a taxi or traffic jams. The next morning, we went to play the beach project again. There were not many people in the morning, and there was no need to queue up for camel riding. After playing, we went back to take a shower and check out at noon. It was really convenient.

GGuest UserHighly recommended to everyone. We traveled to Dun Huang in early May (2024), and we feel grateful for all the kindness we got here. The hotel is very clean, and the service is super accommodating. They provide free pick-up from airport (or train station), so all you need is to call them one day ahead (the receptionist can speak English if you don't speak Chinese). Everyone will smile at you and ask what they can help you when we stay there. The location is brilliant too. It is like 1000 meters away from Ming Sha mountain, and you can actually see the sand mountain when you have breakfast at the hotel (it is free too). We will definitely stay here again when we visit Dun Huang next time.

AAnonymous UserChecked in on New Year's Eve. Two wind towels were given as a gift when I checked in. I took a photo of it specially because it was my favorite color, hehe.
Cleanliness: The room was surprisingly clean. No weird smell.
Facilities: Free toiletries are provided. The bathroom is spacious. The eco-friendly slippers are comfortable, but you can’t take them away.
Environment: Entering the hall, it is cozy, warm and the heating is very good.
Service: The beauties in the lobby are enthusiastic and warm.
To emphasize, heating is very good in winter. The bedding was clean and tidy. We stayed for two days and went out to the scenic spot on the second day. They cleaned and tidied the room without any request.
It is convenient to eat. There is an authentic beef noodle restaurant opposite the hotel, a convenience store next door, and a large supermarket around the corner, which is open on New Year's Eve. A perfect trip to Dunhuang! Dunhuang of the world, where my heart longs for!
