I recently stayed at Hotel Sogo, and I must say that my overall experience was pleasant and satisfying. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how well-maintained and organized the place was. The room was exceptionally clean, which gave me an immediate sense of comfort and relaxation after a long day of travel. The floors were spotless, the linens smelled fresh, and the bathroom was tidy and well-sanitized — no traces of dirt or unpleasant odors at all. The housekeeping staff clearly does an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness. They were very polite and accommodating whenever I requested for towels or extra toiletries. Every time I stepped out and returned, the room was always in perfect order — bed neatly fixed, trash emptied, and surfaces dust-free. Aside from cleanliness, the room ambiance was cozy and peaceful. The air-conditioning worked well, the lighting was just right, and the TV provided a good variety of channels. The bed was comfortable enough for a restful sleep, and the overall environment was quiet, which made it easy to unwind. I also appreciated the staff’s friendliness and professionalism. They greeted me with smiles and made sure that check-in and check-out were fast and convenient. Their hospitality made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is also a big plus — very accessible to transportation, convenience stores, and restaurants. It’s ideal for travelers who want a clean and affordable place to stay without sacrificing comfort and convenience. Overall, I would describe my stay at Hotel Sogo as clean, safe, and comfortable. Great location and accessible to all transportation. The place is located in a quiet neighborhood. The staff are all accommodating and the restaurant offers a variety of tasty food and drinks.

It's convenient because there are many restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. The hotel was relatively clean and the staff were friendly. However, the security situation seems quite bad, so it's best not to go out at night.

The room is overall cozy and clean. Aircon is new, the bed is cozy very comfortable. The bathroom is clean with hot shower. But no water heater in the room you still need to request. I am disappointed a bit since I was assigned at the 5th floor and I have requested the front staff to transfer me in the lower floor and she assured me if there will be available she will transfer me since I will be extending a couple of days. But when the third day comes, she mentioned no more available rooms. It is so upsetting since I am expecting what she promised when I see couple of guests already checking out.

Palagi po akong nakakatravel kaya compare to other accommodation Maine City Residences have an average impression so far. Maayos nmn ang set up ng room pagpasok. Kakalinis lang siguro kasi moist pa ang floors. Toilet/Bath has low water pressure and equipt with hot and cold device . There are presence of cockroaches. Kaya nagrequest nalang ako kung my Baygon spray cla. Staffs excellent approachable and very accommodating. AC excellent, napakatahimik ng rooms. My available drinking water just outside the room. Wala elevator up to the top floor (4th). Convenient ang location to fast foods, laundry shop, barber shop/salon, 7/11 and BPI branch. The hotel situated just two blocks away from Taft Avenue.

Though the rooms need renovations and better cleaning, this is a budget hotel, after all. So, you will get what you paid for. The best part of this hotel is the location within Intramuros. Despite the hot and humid weather, I was able to walk to key sites withing Intramuros. The reception seemed to lack in its tour arranging ability, but I was able to charter a TukTuk at a nearby museum, to go all the way to Malacañan Palace area.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and the relaxing ambiance throughout the property. The location was also perfect—conveniently close to key attractions and public transport. Housekeeping was prompt and attentive, ensuring our stay was stress-free. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the location was convenient, and the air conditioning worked very well, providing a cool and relaxing environment. It is highly suitable for couples. One minor concern is that the comforter had some old stains that could no longer be removed. However, it did not have any unpleasant odor, so it was still acceptable for us. That said, more meticulous guests may find this an issue. We would also like to express our gratitude for our 4-night stay. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating—far more welcoming compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Customer Service: Won't even greet you at all when you try to check in, security deposit is required also which is not indicated in booking. Location and Cleanliness: Very accessible to public transpo and resto. hard to fall asleep hearing all outside noises from cars outside. Room is very clean upon checking in. Room: Even with aircon, its so hard to maintain cold room temp making it uncomfortable. Wifi connectivity is also zero lol.
