GGuest UserStaff was courteous on WeChat before arrival. Hotel is able to receive items bought online. Hotel gave us a little later check out time after we asked as our flight was at night. Luggage could be stored in hotel lobby. Hotel lobby was not really grand looking but at least it had a shop front which had its name. Saw that there were other hotels are in the same building too. Hotel seems to only cover 1 level, on the 2nd floor. Upon going out from the lift, right side is an internet cafe while the hotel rooms were on the left. Of the 3 days we were there, we only had to scan once to open the glass door which leads to the rooms (door was open at other times). Hotel has laundry facilities between 8am-8pm but we did not use it. Room service is available upon request via WeChat. Hotel provided towels and toiletries too. Cleanliness needs to be improved as my friend spotted trash on the bottom shelf of the water dispensing area when we checked in. Bedsheets were clean, bed was comfortable. Room was pretty quiet despite being near a road. Location wise, quite straightforward to walk to Wuyi square via underground or street. Hotel is next to La Nova shopping mall (but does not have many shops) and an underground commercial street that leads to Wan Da shopping centre and opposite the road. Lots of eating areas around too. Walkable to Mi Fen street too.

XXuShaoZheThis was an excellent place to stay in Changsha, better than we could have expected.
We visited in December and the heating from the air conditioner was enough to keep the room warm. The bathroom is modern, and even has heating above the shower. Both the room itself and the bathroom were very clean. We were on the third floor so we did not get bothered by any sound from the street. I am a very light sleeper but I did not wake up from anything. There are a few open air lounges around the building, most with a roof to protect from the rain, which were nice to sit and eat breakfast. The best thing about the room however is the bed. It is spacious (I think a king size) and so, so comfortable. There is a laundry facility but we didn't use this on our trip. They don't have a dryer machine but they do have a clothes line to dry clothes on.
The owner spoke with us through WeChat and gave us recommendations on places to eat (a huge list, maybe 40 different places!) and checked if we needed room cleaning every day, and provided extra water bottles. The aunties at the hotel are all friendly.
The location is really good, 5-7 mins walk from Peyuanqiao subway, and just one stop from Wuyi Square on line 1. It is also about 40mins on the subway or 30mins taxi to ChangshaNan Station (high-speed rail) and about 45mins subway from the airport. The hotel is on a quiet side street, the main street is very much a local, non-touristy street, which was nice, with a friendly uncle selling breakfast in the morning and many stalls and restaurants nearby. By the station you also have bigger chain shops and restaurants if this is what you prefer.
The only thing to improve for me is that a coat hanger would be useful so we can hang up our coat somewhere.
I love Changsha, my favourite city in China, and I think this hotel will become my go-to the next time I am back to visit!
GGuest UserMy stay at Yiju 1983 Hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely fantastic; it's just a few minutes' walk to Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street and IFS Guojin Center, and Taiping Old Street and Pozi Street are also very close by. Yet, the room was incredibly quiet, truly offering a 'peaceful retreat in a bustling area'.
The room was more spacious than I imagined, and the bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get up once I lay down. The pillows, in particular, were perfect in terms of height and firmness – great for my neck. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, strong water pressure, and hot water came on quickly.
The service was the most delightful surprise. The front desk staff gave the most authentic and helpful recommendations. They were incredibly patient and attentive when helping with laundry and food deliveries. I accidentally left my charger when checking out, and they contacted me promptly to arrange its return – that level of thoughtfulness was truly touching.
With such a great location, quality, and service, the value for money is exceptional. Yiju 1983 will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Changsha. I highly recommend it to any traveler looking for a peaceful sleep amidst the hustle and bustle.

WwingflyawayThe flight arrived late and it was more than 1 am to the hotel. The little brother at the front desk patiently told how to enter the hotel. Like it!
The front desk of the hotel has signs on the 34th floor and the front desk check-in is very fast. There are also many small snacks to eat for free.
LOFT's high, large space, and a large three-story refrigerator.
The mattress is very comfortable, the two rooms are independent and will not disturb each other. 1.5 meter bed, suitable for families or small sisters to travel together. The bedside lamp has a sense of atmosphere.
Wake up and open the curtains to have a view.
Living in the upper floors of 53F. Enjoy the scenery while having breakfast, very healing, and feel comfortable!
I have shared it online with my friends and will come to live next time.
GGuest UserStaying at this hotel for my solo trip to Changsha was definitely the right choice! It's located right in the heart of the city center, with a subway station literally right outside the door, making transportation a breeze. Whether you're heading out early to sightsee or exploring the night markets, the subway saves so much time and effort, and it's super close to the Wuyi Square commercial area. The hotel itself is elegantly comfortable, with quiet and tidy hallways that create a great ambiance. My room had a nice view, excellent natural light and ventilation, and the cleanliness standards were very high – the bath and hand towels felt clean and safe to use. The bedding was soft and breathable, and the pillows were just the right level of comfort. The staff were professional and polite, never perfunctory, and communication was always smooth. The room layout was practical and functional. For a stay in Changsha, this hotel offers unbeatable value for money. I truly recommend it!

Very Good
SSuxintangYYThis is actually a guesthouse, so it's important to note it's not a conventional hotel. It has a small fridge, an induction cooker, and a washing machine. Overall, the room itself is fine, but the facilities are really old. The sofa is broken. My main complaint is about the hot water supply; it's a very small water heater. It's not even enough for one person to shower – the water turns cold after washing my hair. For most of my stay, I ended up taking lukewarm showers, which was a very poor experience. If another person wants to shower, they'd have to wait at least 15-20 minutes for the water to heat up. The projector isn't very clear, but the bed was quite comfortable. The lady at the front desk was also very nice. The location is indeed excellent, very convenient for getting around, and close to places like Bozi Street. However, the entrance is very small and hard to find. I hope they can make some improvements.

GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room rates are very reasonable, and the place is clean. They even offer airport drop-off service, which is a huge convenience! On my previous visit, my flight was significantly delayed, and I couldn't confirm my exact arrival time. Yet, the owner kindly waited up for me until 3 AM! This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located on the top floor of a building, right next to the east bank of the Xiang River. To the west, you can overlook Yuelu Mountain and Orange Isle. The views are fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, with a subway station nearby. It's not far from major city attractions, easily reachable by foot, subway, or taxi. On the east side, the old alleyways offer a rich taste of local life, allowing you to experience the seamless blend of Changsha's modernity and tradition. The hotel service is excellent. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the mattress and pillows are just right – neither too soft nor too firm. The soundproofing in the rooms is good. On the river-facing side, due to its proximity to a main urban road and the riverside promenade, there might be a slight rustling sound from passing vehicles and people exercising during morning rush hour. However, it's all within a tolerable range, and the white noise doesn't interfere with sleeping in. (All attached photos were taken from inside the room)
JJuvieJEntrance and lift to the right tower was a little hard to find initially, especially for us who don't understand much Chinese and lift change to a different tower is required. Written instruction would've been useful.
Room is ok, very low ceiling, nearly touched our head. Very cramped and not as spacious and nice as in photo.
Lots of marks and scratches on the floor. Shower area is not clean, hair from previous stay still there.
Our washing machine was broken. It couldn't be fixed in the 3 nights we stayed. The technician came on the second day and the floor was left dirty. We were offered to use the washing machine in a different unit, but with no dryer, it made it difficult.
The electricity went out on our first morning and there was no power for about 3-4 hours. Then the evacuation building evacuation notice came on, twice that morning. We evacuated as that's the norm in our country. We're later told it's just a testing. It would've been nice if we were informed or there's some kind of communication on the floor. Very disruptive as we have young children. The evacuation drill happened again the next morning. We knew then to stay.
The best thing about this apartment is the location. Close to all the hustle and bustle is Changsha, lots of eateries choices. On the negative side, we could hear thumping music and felt the vibration from nearby clubs until 3-4 in the morning.
