"To be honest, there are both advantages and disadvantages.
The advantage is that the location is outstanding, it takes only 3 minutes to walk to New World Department Store, shopping is very convenient, it takes 2 minutes to get to the subway, and there are also many restaurants around.
It is one of the few places where smoking is allowed in the room, so smokers feel more comfortable.
The price-performance ratio is good, more than 400 in this area, what else do you need a bicycle for.
Disadvantages...
The room is not cleaned well, and there are still hairs on the bed...
And the quilt cover and pillowcase were indeed changed, but they were just put on, and there were obvious blood stains on the exposed parts..."

1. Rooms are very clean and comfortable
2. Location is near perfect - just across the road from the main shopping street and 3 mins walk to the subway station
4. Power plug in room have international plugs (don't need to use adaptors)
5. The only improvement would be if they have a better mattress. It is comfortable no doubt but not the fluffy sink in type.

"It’s also a residential building so the entry/exit of the lifts are a bit inconvenient if you forgot something and need to go back up to the room.
I had a room where it had an opening for the air conditioner’s ventilator, which did not mask the roadside noise at night but it wasn’t busy road so not so bad.
Generally it was a convenient stay."

"I had stayed in the Niagara Hotel for 3 days first and then another 3 days after a one day bike ride off Seoul in April 24. My pick on the hotel because it is very easy for me to enter into the comprehensive cycling networks in Seoul (and off Seoul). Another good point is that a subway station is within the walking distance from the hotel that I can pull my bike case along. Although the hotel only has a cafe at the lobby, there are local restaurants and convenience shops nearby; notwithstanding some homework in advance will be needed because menu in English is very rare in the city. Since all rooms of the hotel are facing in one direction, open and nice river views are provided for the rooms."

AAbbiThis was my second stop in Myeongdong and I had a lovely stay - large, comfy room and bathroom. The in room service was good too. The only thing I would say is it is a little noisy (evening/night) from the outside location. Other than that, a great stay!

HheatherThe hotel has a great location, close to Yeouido subway station and Hyundai Department Store. Upon arrival, the staff proactively helped with our luggage. The front desk staff provided excellent service and were very polite. Due to not having a local credit card and accout issue, we couldn't use the app to book a taxi, but the staff promptly helped us with this. The view from the hotel window is excellent, with a clear sight of the Han River. The hotel uses Le Labo 31 amentities. However, the cleanliness needs improvement. Some areas has quite a bit of dust buildup, and the housekeeping staff placed our personal toothbrush directly on the counter, which made us uncomfortable as the toothbrush directly touched the surface.If we visit Seoul again in the future, I will still consider choosing Fairmont.

CChris ThomsonThis hotel has ”individual” temperature controls in each room. 2:00am we woke up warm and when I called downstairs they said, ”Guests were complaining about it's too cold.” What's wrong with this reason? Exactly! Why can't those cold people just turn OFF their AC's???? Then the next morning they gave me a different reason. The hotel wants to save $$$$$ by turning off the AC's for EVERYONE if the temp outside reaches a certain temperature. So those who know Korea, the air quality is not the greatest. SO...they will give you a fan which was really nice of them, but ***???!!! Then why the F are we paying money? Do NOT stay here because this hotel does not care about your comfort. This is another company in Korea that cares only about $$$. Your comfort is not really top priority. Stay someplace else if your comfort matters.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very new and clean, located near the the metro train station, especially the airport line, which is so convenient to commute between the airport.
The buffet breakfast is included, which should have nothing to complain, although the variety is limited and would be nice to see some Korean style breakfast.
Would consider this hotel for our next trip back to Korea.

GGuest UserThe hotel is near to Dongdaemon history and culture park, around 5 mins walking distance. It located behind Doota shopping mall. Hotel provided breakfast but did not provide toothbrush. The aircon is off due to cold weather, but no worries, open the window is sufficient to make the room cold. The hotel near to double decker tour bus and Diki-diki playground (below 5 yo) just beside the subway. Overall the hotel environment is nice n convenient.

AaNNa SKLExperience Service Facilities We can leave our luggage at the lobby since we arrive early before the check-in time. The check-in process is very smooth, provided with the booking confirmation and passport verification. The location is very strategic and accessible to many POIs. They change the towels, replenish the toiletries, make up the bed, clean up the trash bin, and provide the free 2 drinking water bottles every day. The conditions in the room are good, and the lighting and temperatures are satisfactory. Since we checked out very early, we can just leave the room card keys at the front office counter at the lobby floor.

AAnonymous UserOverall a pleasant stay at the hotel. The hotel is located close to the metro station Chungmuro (Exit 8 for stairs, Exit 1 for escalator ride). Amenities such as water, coffee and snacks are provided for free at level 1. The staff is friendly and always greets the guests. The room is clean and it feels more like an apartment than a hotel room to me! WiFi connection is also good.

CChristian ItalyWe arrived early and we could drop our luggages in the corridor. We booked a twin room and were surprisingly upgraded to a bigger room with more beds.
The room was big and the toilet as well! Conveniently close to 2 metro lines, line 2 on one side and line 7 on the other side, and many bus stops.
The only cons I can think of are the small towels provided (like in most of the places in South Korea) and the heating that was not strong enough considering the cold temperatures outside.
