"Our first stop in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Transportation was very convenient. There's a direct airport bus from the airport; we got off at Susukino station, and it was about a 3-4 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel facilities were a bit dated, but generally acceptable, especially since we were out exploring all day anyway. Just a few minutes' walk away is Cocono, which offers dining, shopping, and a supermarket, making it very convenient. The supermarket stocked a variety of Hokkaido-exclusive Sapporo products. We got a great deal on this hotel through a Ctrip group purchase."

"I stayed 2 nights on smoking-room type but I think the smell was not that good, it’s my false that choose this type of room. The staff was very helpful, they allow me to change to non smoking room. That was very nice. The location near shopping street and bus stop to CTS airport. Very convenient for walking around."

"The hotel is located above a shopping mall. You need to take an elevator up to the 7th floor to transfer to another one for the guest rooms. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it's not a hassle once you're familiar with it. As a city hotel, the rooms are compact, which is quite typical of Japanese hotels. The toiletries were unbranded, but the breakfast was decent and certainly met four-star expectations. Although the window was small, the view was excellent. The blackout curtains worked perfectly, and the comfortable bedding ensured a great night's sleep. Interestingly, bottled water is only provided when the room is serviced. If you decline cleaning, you don't get water. For a partial clean, you have to collect it yourself, and only a full room service includes water delivery to your room. I still can't quite wrap my head around this logic."

"The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and the Namboku Line subway station is just across the street. From there, you can either walk (about 15 minutes) or take one subway stop to reach the heart of Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade. The hotel's location experiences less foot traffic, making it very peaceful at night. The facilities are brand new, and the room is very spacious, with more than enough room to fully open two large suitcases. Each floor has a water dispenser and coin-operated washing machines, which is very convenient."

"Pros: best beds! This was the 6th hotel in our month long Japan trip their firm Simmons mattresses are the best. Good public bath on the top floor with an open to sky outdoor tub. Excellent friendly staff. Little things like reprogramming the escalator to go down during check out hours, seats at the elevator lobbies, and code to access to the baths makes the stay nicer. Best prefeb bathrooms and also nicely appointed deco. Room size was bigger than your standard business chain hotel. Great location too to Sapporo Station and Odori Park.
Cons: although the breakfast selection was adequate, it badly lacked variety. Everyday was the exact same items/menu. I strongly recommend that they change out 20-30% like other hotels. For this reason alone we can not stay more than 5 days. We moved to another hotel due to this breakfast issue.
Overall, we would stay here again but again for not more than 4-5 nights due to the breakfast. Its a real pity because we like everything else about it. Almost a prefect score."

"Check-in was very smooth, and the front desk staff's excellent English made communication effortless. While official check-in is at 3 PM, they offer luggage storage for early arrivals. The communal bath here isn't a natural hot spring and was rather unremarkable. On the other hand, the in-room bathtub was a pleasant surprise – it came with bath powder, and the water pressure was great. All toiletries were individually packaged, which was both convenient and hygienic. Breakfast was predominantly Western-style and just average in taste, though the soup curry is highly recommended."

"We chose a room with 3 beds. It’s a two Japanese sized twin beds with one single bed. It was pretty large for us family of 3. The room is big enough we were able to open two of our large suitcases and leave it open the entire stay. But they also have storage under the bed. Very thoughtful layout for travelers with many luggages. It’s one block away from the Odori Park, and about 10 to 15 mins walk to the Susukino area with all the shopping and restaurants. This hotel also comes with big Onsen (hot spring) SPA for guests. Downstairs also got the coin laundry room. We took the airport bus to get here because the bus stops in front of the hotel. However, to get to airport the bus won’t stop here. We walked to JR Sapporo Station to take the train to get to airport instead. It was about 15 mins walk. I will definitely stay here again."

Stayed at the Sapporo one for the first time and similarly impressed. Great location, parking is convenient for guests, and because of an unfixable electronic error in our room, they moved us to a nicer room and it was great. Overall would stay again and prices were great for the quality and service.

GGuest UserGreat hotel in a nice & quiet location in Sapporo. I enjoyed the hotel and its well-equipped 24 hour gym. Front desk staff were friendly to my kids and even assisted us in booking a bigger taxi to Sapporo Station as we had big luggage in tow.
The hotel is well-appointed and trendy in design. The complimentary beverages which were replenished daily was a nice touch!
Definitely recommended in Sapporo! We will be back!

KKok WaiI had a pleasant stay here. The location is very central—just a 5 to 7-minute walk to Sapporo Station. There’s a Lawson nearby, and buses to the Sapporo Beer Factory and outlet mall are right across the street. Many other attractions are also within walking distance. The room and building appear to be quite new. Complimentary coffee and drinks are available on level 2. My only issue was a musty smell coming from the toilet.

EEasyEssyThe hotel is a bit old and the room wasn’t very spacious. The location is decent—about a five-minute walk from the subway. However, I had an issue with the air conditioning. The room was quite hot, and I couldn’t adjust the temperature or open the window, which made it uncomfortable at times.
On the positive side, I arrived before check-in and left my luggage at the lobby. The staff were very kind and brought it up to our room, since we came back late that night. Their helpfulness and service were much appreciated.

Cchen0312The rooms were very clean, the hotel felt new, and the service was excellent, though it was quite pricey. Each bed came with both a soft and a firm pillow, which was a nice touch. We were a group of 3 adults and 2 children, and booked two standard rooms. The Ctrip booking process was a bit confusing; it seemed to charge for 3 adults for what appeared to be a 2-adult-1-child setup. At check-in, the front desk confirmed our booking for three adults, but helpfully clarified that children under 5 dine for free. We were also assigned a triple room, which was a nice bonus, although I'm not sure if it was related to the initial pricing discrepancy or a standard hotel amenity. For those unsure about breakfast, a tip would be to book your stay without it and then pay for it directly at the hotel.
The hotel's public bath (onsen) and gym were both quite small. Breakfast quality was decent. During our two-day stay, we found the pastries to be quite exquisite. There was a live cooking station offering asparagus and cheese, as well as a delicate, made-to-order scallop dish. While beautifully presented, the scallop dish didn't particularly stand out in terms of flavor.
The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the JR station. Directly opposite the hotel is an Izakaya called 'Saki no Kura' which is very traditional, welcoming, and delicious, serving sashimi, grilled dishes, and a variety of seasonal specialties – definitely better than the options found in shopping malls. Hokkaido University is also just across the road, which was perfect for letting the kids run around.
Overall, aside from the price, everything else was fantastic.

GGuest UserI chose this hotel specifically for its private bath, only to discover that reservations must be made 2-3 months in advance via email/phone call. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus from Sapporo city, which typically takes about an hour, but you also need to book that at least a month in advance, according to various bloggers. It was quite disappointing not to enjoy the private bath experience and to have to arrange our own transportation from/back to the city. The frustrating part is that you wouldn’t know the advance booking requirement when you make a reservation through Trip.com or similar platforms. Here’s a rephrased version of your statement:

The room had a beautiful view of Sapporo TV Tower. The bed was too big 😂. I feel like four people can share it and feel comfortable. The room was clean.
The breakfast was very good. They had a lot of options to choose from.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good. It is right at the area with the underground shopping links to both Odori & Sapporo subway station. Very convenient to travel anywhere. It is also walking distance to Clock Tower & Sapporo TV Tower at Odori Park. Cleanliness is good as they cleaned the room everyday & amenities are provided. The only compliant is the so-so breakfast & the size of the room. Better to have your own breakfast else where as there are plenty of food nearby. The room is a bit too small for couples. Can't even open both our luggages at the same time. Also doesn't have a cardboard to hang clothes. Should go for the double bed rather than the twin.

The bed was very comfortable, free from the distraction of an unnecessary decorative bed runner. The breakfast was excellent, and the location was very convenient. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.
It would be helpful to add extra signage requesting guests to refrain from loud phone conversations in the corridor, especially around midnight, as not all guests are considerate or aware of noise levels.

GGuest UserThe hotel is so crowded and full of people (mostly local people). We waited 10-15 minutes I'm a queue everytime when we went for dinner/breakfast buffet, and then queued up again at counters before we got the food. The dining hall can hold a few hundred people and was in almost full capacity when. We visited. It was not a pleasant experience to us as we came to enjoy the onsen and food, but not to compete with the crowd. Onsen was average. Food was average and tasted like those prepared from food factory. Frankly speaking, I won't come for the second time despite the competitive price. Service was average and no smile on the face of the receptionist.
