"The room is dark, the windows are small, there is only one counter at the front desk, and only one person can check in and check out. The hotel door is less than 1.5 meters wide. It is in an alley, and the service is even worse."

Nomos Hotel Hotels in Rome

Nomos Hotel

"I can't comment on the room or the hotel service because we didn't have the chance, but we visited the restaurant because we were intrigued by the design, but it's an experience I hope will never happen again: we asked for information on the design... vague answer. We were escorted to a completely empty dining room and left to choose our seats, not out of elegance but out of carelessness. We ordered two identical dishes, and two different ones. The restaurant was empty, and we waited 45 minutes to receive only one of the four dishes. Then I started eating so it wouldn't get cold while the other three friends watched. I should start by saying I ordered a Nomos Burger. Cold. The bread was stale and hard. The accompanying fries were cold. The second dish arrived presented as a club sandwich, and after being pointed out that it wasn't a club sandwich, it was confirmed to us that it was a club sandwich, except that when the last two dishes arrived (two club sandwiches after another 20 minutes), it was obvious that they were another dish. In short, the bill was 175 euros. In my life, among starred restaurants around the world, I've never felt so "outsider" and so "ripped off" on the bill. Believe me, it was all so paradoxical that it seemed like a joke and that someone at a certain point declared it was, but alas... no. And they also charged 175 euros for eating on a delayed order despite being a party of four. We ate dishes we hadn't ordered, but above all, the quality was beyond even fast food. It might be fine with four foreign tourists, but you never know who the customers are, what their schedule is, and what their profession is. Okay, I accept that I literally threw away 175 euros and, among other things, felt weighed down and worried about the poor quality of the food and the service, oh my. It had to be tried. Once is more than enough. In fact... if I'd read this review, I would have gladly done without it. Let's hope the market is the true judge of who knows how to do their job and who doesn't, even if they have 5 stars and "dress" in an elegant way. Eating like this in Rome is an insult. Being served like this in Rome is an insult. And asking for that money, well... an insult of all insults. Anyone who thinks we're competition or frustrated customers, I have the receipt 😂 and who'll forget, I had to get the biggest rip-off in Rome."

"We booked this hotel mainly because of the location and the indoor pool for our little one. Breakfast is good, location is close to bus stops and main train station (Roma Termini) and hotel is relatively new. We were happy except for its soundproofing which we initially dont mind but we had a neighbor who knocked on our door very loudly and complained of our noise. We just went home after a long and tiring day, turned on the tv for few minutes while we shower, suddenly there was a loud knock on our door with a lady raising her voice because we were too loud. I have a child who’s not even that noisy, and our tv was only at a volume of 8. It was a normal noise. Our daughter was traumatized by her. So if you are too sensitive with noise, better not book here for your peace of mind. We could also hear neighbors showering, drying hair and moving chairs but we did not mind! We travel a lot and this is our first experience of someone complaining our noise. This ruined our experience. We informed the management and they advised us to move our rooms but the lady next door already left so we did not bother. Anyway overall, we are still contented with our stay."

Le Boutique Hotel Hotels in Rome

Le Boutique Hotel

"A convenient hotel for visiting the Vatican. The hotel is small, but the room is cozy. The bed was excellent. Our room had no window, but it had a private entrance to the patio, where there was a table and chairs where we could smoke. The only downside was that the glass wall of this patio overlooked the hotel lobby. We stayed for one night, and it didn't bother us. We were very happy with the sleep we got thanks to the mattress and pillows. This was our third hotel in Rome, so we have something to compare it to. The breakfast could have been better, but the wonderful chef kindly made us some scrambled eggs, which saved the day."

Mama Shelter Roma Hotels in Rome

Mama Shelter Roma

"This is a very standard hotel. The facilities and decor are quite new, and there were festive graffiti and activities, though we didn't participate. The New Year's Eve party was lively, making it a very welcoming hotel. I liked the gym and pool; the facilities were quite clean. I didn't get to try breakfast this time, and the price was a bit high during the New Year's Day period."

"Solid 4 Star hotel near Roma Termini with lots of great restaurants around. The hotel room was large with all the basics available. Service was solid although occassionally brusque. The rooms were slightly on the older side but passabe. All in all a solid hotel - missing anything special or extra."

"The hotel is clean. The staff is responsive, friendly, and speaks English. On the downside: the room is very small; a large suitcase can only be opened either on the bed or in the entryway, blocking the exit. Also, the power outlet is only accessible from one side of the bed, which is inconvenient for two people. There are only six hangers, which is not enough for two women, and there's no iron at all. Slippers, bathrobes, and basic amenities (cotton swabs, cotton pads, toothbrush, razor) are not provided. On the plus side, breakfast is delicious, and the buffet is varied."

"I sprained my ankle before checking in, and the front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful — they offered me a more accessible bed and even provided ice for my injury. The next day after check-out, I stayed in the lobby for the whole day to rest before my departure, and I truly appreciate their understanding and support. Thank you for making a difficult situation feel so much easier. 🙏"
