The room is spacious enough for me and my friend to open our luggage at the same time and still lots of room to walk around with the case opened. The bed and linens are comfortable. Desk to long and wide, with two chairs allow us to use and put on daily skin care together. Only if they could setup slippers in room and add in tooth brush and tooth paste in the bathroom then it will be perfect. Location wise there are quite a lot of restaurants around and it is very close to the central terminal, just a 5-10 minutes walk. You can also take bus or train around to travel around attractions in Rome very easily. There are 2-3 receptionists in the check in counter, they are very knowledgeable to Rome and hotel product knowledge, hope they could keep smile on faces and more friendly. Also I request a non need service to our room to the housekeeping attendant on the second day, but we came back to the room and found it was cleaned. Attached the photo is the door stopper which I found good for the attendant they don’t need to bend their back and also to protect the door from getting starches at the same time.

I originally lived in Campo de' Fiori and moved here temporarily. Rome is expensive and crowded. It is really not easy to book a satisfactory hotel in Rome. Plus it is the peak season, so it is really difficult to choose. Now let’s evaluate this George Indigo:
1. Location: The hotel is still in the historical center, and this location is quite convenient;
2. Room: Don’t expect a big room in Rome (except if you are rich and willful). This room is already big, the bed is big enough, and the mattress is comfortable;
3. Breakfast: Breakfast is average. But it seems that breakfast in Italy is like this. There are not many varieties. There are only a few of everything that should be available, such as bread, eggs, ham, sausage, and yogurt. It can't be compared with domestically. Can eat enough.
4. Service: The service is warm and professional. major.
Overall: Overall it’s pretty good. This time we stayed in Italy for 20 days, and we also stayed in Rome for 6 or 7 days. We also stayed in a 16th-century local old hotel, a B&B apartment, and a resort hotel, which is a major international brand group. Chain hotels are relatively stable, there are no big surprises, but there won’t be too many mistakes (in B&Bs, there are always surprises or shocks)
It should be included in my choice when I go to Rome in the future.

This was my second stay here visiting Rome unfortunately, each time we were plagued with a challenge-not the fault of the hotel but nonetheless challenging. This time a broken water main resulted in a very challenging situation. The staff did the best they could under the circumstances but I was disappointed that the hotel offered no compensation for the disruption. We tried changing hotels but were offered no options. Thankful the water was restored by the end of the day but it was very challenging. The staff did a great job but IHG should have offered something to the guests. It is still a good landing place to visit Rome and we will return

A fantastic location. In walking distance of the Trevi fountain and the colosseum. Also very close to a nice selection of restaurants and convenience shops. The WiFi was ok. It sometimes very briefly dropped out. The shower was a bit weird as it would cycle through cold, warm, and hot. The A/c was ok. We had it on 19 and it kept the room an ok temperature. In Rome A/C in hotels is often bad so this was probably better than most. The staff were excellent! Often hotel staff in Rome can be a bit sullen and not so helpful but the staff at the Hive were excellent and very helpful. They gave us a late checkout as we needed time before our flight. The restaurant on the roof is gourmet so it is more expensive than other restaurants nearby BUT you get some beautiful food. If you ask at reception they may have a 20% discount voucher for hotel guests.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the central station, taxi normally within five euros, but too close to the driver to make a detour to make money, Italy, understandably, we were detoured ten euros. The hotel is very beautiful, very good stay experience, comfortable, elegant, breakfast and dinner are great, wine is also very good, highly recommended!

First i would like to thank Mr Ricardo , who welcomed us friendly and warm and presented useful information about tourist attractions on map and helped us to book the Colosseum ticket.he became one of our good memories in rome with his kind smile.My husband and i appreciate Mr Ricardo. Second,breakfast had enough variety and it is possible to have breakfast in open area(yard) or inside.and foods were fresh and tasty. However our room was small and we didn’t have enough space for 3 luggages.but bed was comfortable and room was clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The transportation is very convenient, right in the city center. I think this is a hotel where the public areas are much more beautiful than the rooms. There is no big surprise inside the room, but the public areas are really beautiful. The service is also very good. The only bad thing is that the deposit is very high and it can't be returned in half a day (it has been almost 10 days since I checked out and the deposit has not been returned 🙃)

Slightly out of the city centre but a lovely hotel. The reception staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful, they were absolutely lovely. The pool was amazing, perfect temperature, breakfast great, the rooms nice, prices very reasonable in the restaurant etc. Hotel was very reasonably priced and I have absolutely no complaints at all, a great experience.

This hotel is a lovely oasis away from the tourist areas of Rome. There is a shuttle bus into the centre which is very efficient and we used this every day. Well worth it. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, although dated and we found it very strange that they provided every amenity apart from the two essentials we like in a room - tea/coffee making tray and bottles of water. They did supply 2 tiny bottles which were it till the next day which was nowhere near enough for 30 degrees heat! Very odd for a 5 star hotel to restrict water bottles.... On arrival, we were told our luggage would be sent up to our room but after an hour waiting, went to concierge to try and locate our cases but were told they were too busy and would have to wait till they brought them up. Couldn't take cases up ourselves. The staff in the foyer bar and light dining were excellent and the cocktails were first class. As were the housekeeping staff on our floor who always greeted us with a smile and 'buongiorno'. Breakfast was served either at pool terrace or inside and was extensive choice and very good quality . The scrambled eggs were the best we have ever had in a hotel! Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Cavalieri and would definitely return .

I stayed 4 nights at Palazzo Montemartini with my family during our Italy trip. The property is very well maintained and the location is convenient (right across the main train station). Very helpful staff and outstanding service all around. They have a beautiful spa, and we even had time for a 1 hour massage with my son, which I highly recommend (they definitely knew what they where doing). Th building itself looks very Roman and historic, but the interior and the rooms have a much more modern feel. They have a nice rooftop terrace wit great views of Rome. The restaurant was also very beautifully decorated with excellent food options to choose from. There was some elevator issues, but I'm sure it was only temporary, besides there are enough elevators to not make it a big deal. I will definitely stay here again next time. Thank you!!!

GGuest UserI have never been to a place where a hotel feels like home. This is one of the amazing benefits of staying in Ostello Bello. The staff, bartenders, and night shift felt like absolute family by the end and I truly will never stay anywhere else while in Rome. Fravio (hope I am spelling that right) made my trip with his kind and friendly demeanor. All of the bartenders made me feel at home and welcome at all times. Treating me more than fairly in every citrcumstance. The rooms were clean and nice, with working showers and good facilities. I truly have nothing negative to say about my visit.

GGuest UserThe hotel was conveniently located 5-min from Termini train station and the FCO airport shuttle bus and hop on hop off bus stops just across. We stayed 2 times during our 2 week stay in Rome - over night stay before heading down to Civitavecchia Port for MSC cruise and 4 night stay upon return from the cruise ship. We used the hotel storage service for one of our luggage bags for a week during our 7-day cruise. The hotel staffs were friendly.

GGuest UserWe stayed here initially as part of a group tour and added a couple of days onto the end. We were concerned it might not be central, but it’s a fantastic location. Walk to station is ok but also only a cheap taxi ride. The area has loads of great local restaurants and bars . They were safe and friendly plus the food was really well priced and local delicious delights. The hotel has everything you need, clean, great showers, good breakfast. Plus if you arrive early or late there’s fridges etc that dispense bottles of wine 6 euros or water plus snacks. The staff are friendly and efficient Wifi great Couldn’t recommend more
KKarl BHotel was great as right next to Termini so great for trains from airport and onto metro. Hotel clean and just what you need as a base for weekend away (basic but everything you need).About a mile away from most of tourist attractions (coliseum / fountain / steps) so need to be prepared to walk / taxi / metro a little. We liked Trastevere for evening meals and bars (small cobbled streets) , 15E taxi from this hotel.

GGuest UserThe establishment is located a 2-minute walk away from Termini station so it's very convenient if you arrive by train and plan to use the public transports to move around the city (which is recommended) since from there you can hop on any bus/tram/metro/taxi and go anywhere in the city.
I didn't explore much around inside the hotel, but I can tell that the restaurant area where breakfast was served is located on the last floor where the terrace is located. I always had my breakfast in the porch which is still covered from the rain and wind. In the morning you can find both sweet and savory food including cornetti, cream filled donuts, cereals, cakes, different kinds of bread that you can also toast, eggs (hard boiled and scrambled), ham, mortadella(=bologna), salami, edamer cheese, fruit, milk, orange and pineapple juice and coffee/tea/capuccino served with an automatic machine. Finally on every table you could find small jars of jam/marmalade.
You can reach the floor with 2 separate elevators and I believe the terrace also hosts a bar with music in the evening.
I was given a double room to be used as a single so the bed was large but I don't think it would be big enough for two people. The room included a mini bar, an electric kettle with cups that you could use to make tea or instant coffee, a safe and of course a set of towels, soap, shampoo, shower cap and a shoe brush. The bathroom although quite narrow included the bidet and disposable bags for tampons. On the downsides even though it was cleaned daily it seemed that some spots were overlooked for example a phone present in the bathroom was always covered in dust since before I arrived and the shower could use some descaling since most of the streams were clogged. Having a freezer in the room contributes at making it very warm. and finally, although not really an issue for me, the window was facing the inside of the building but on the bright side I believe that facing the street would have caused the hearing of a lot of noise. Talking about noise it was very quiet and the only sound I could hear were sometimes people walking in the corridor outside my room and in the evening the music coming from the terrace bar I believe, even though it stopped playing at midnight.
I didn't get to experience any other amenity nor the room service since it wasn't in my interests or I didn't need to while I was there so I cannot give any comment.

GGuest UserLiked the location of the hotel in EUR Rome. The rooms are nice and clean, good TV channels including BBC and CNN. The experience was ruined by the 1 hour + noise from the trucks loading and unloading skips in the next door Euromax shopping centre. The banging noise is horrendous. Sara did offer to replace my room but as i had 1 more night i didn't bother. The breakfast area is very busy and chaotic, takes a long time to get coffee from the Barista's. The breakfast items are okay but nothing substantial, they are very supermarket affair. The corridors are boring and dull and definitely 3 stars. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Euromax shopping centre next door is an excellent diversion on a rainy day.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a nice location with a train entrance just down the street. It was very clean, our room was very nice for the four of us and the hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed their breakfast every morning- it had a.good selection of breakfast food. Several great restaurants in the area. We enjoyed the wine bar next door - great food and wine. We also had wonderful drinks at Gatsby’s on the other side of the hotel. It was a 15 minute walk from the main train station which was not bad at all. We had a wonderful dinner around the corner at Vecchia Roma- you must make a reservation or get there before they open to get in line. We got there 15 minutes after they opened and waited 35 minutes for a table but it was worth it. We enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the Cross Hotel for 3 days. The hotel is situated within walking distance from a metro station and a 25 min walk to the Colloseo. The hotel is recently renovated. The Lobby is very nice. Rooms are ok and has very comfortable beds, safe, tv, emptey minibar ( can be filled at extra costs). Little bathroom with shower, hairdryer, showergel… The hotel has also a garden terras bar where you can try some cocktails from 16:00 until 00:00Pm. Breakfast can be much better, little choice, pastries not tasty at all… breakfast is not recommended. for a short stay this hotel is definitely worth its 3 stars. staff is very helpful from receptionist to porter.

Prima e ultima volta!
