We booked a room with a bathtub, and it was definitely worth it! Having a bathtub in the room made the experience feel extra luxurious and gave us the perfect opportunity to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. The room was comfortable, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to feel at home. It was exactly the kind of room we wanted for a relaxing getaway as a couple.
Cleanliness was another thing that really impressed us. Everything was very clean and well maintained, from the room itself to the facilities. You could tell that attention was paid to keeping everything in excellent condition. For us, cleanliness is one of the most important things when choosing accommodation, and this homestay absolutely met our expectations. It made our stay comfortable and stress-free.
What made the experience even better was the hospitality and the little extras that made us feel genuinely cared for. Every morning, we were offered delicious noodles for breakfast. This was such a lovely surprise because breakfast was not even specified as part of our booking! It was a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated and a wonderful way to start each day. These small acts of kindness can make a huge difference when travelling, especially when you are somewhere new and want to experience local hospitality.
We also received fresh fruit every day, which was another lovely touch. It was wonderful to come back after exploring and enjoy some fresh fruit in the room. These unexpected extras showed that the hosts really cared about their guests’ comfort and wanted to make the stay as enjoyable as possible.
Another big advantage was the assistance with booking tickets for local attractions and activities. Planning trips in a new destination can sometimes be confusing, especially when there are different attractions to visit and tickets to arrange. The staff were helpful and could assist us with bookings, making everything much easier and more convenient. Having someone available to help with these arrangements saved us time and made it easier to enjoy our trip without worrying too much about the logistics.
We really appreciated how the overall experience went beyond simply providing a place to sleep. Between the beautiful scenery, the clean and comfortable room, the bathtub, the complimentary morning noodles, the daily fruit, and the helpful service, there were so many details that made our stay feel special.
Yangshuo itself is an incredible destination, with its spectacular karst mountains, peaceful scenery, and unique atmosphere. Staying somewhere with such a beautiful view made the experience even more memorable. After spending the day discovering the area, it was lovely to return to a comfortable room where we could relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Guest UserI stayed at the Cloud Valley B&B on the strong recommendation of a colleague, and it did not disappoint.
1. Overall: Although the B&B has been open for over 7 years, the decor is not outdated. It has a rustic wooden style, is clean and tidy, and the rooms feature toiletries like shower gel and shampoo personally selected by the owner. Most importantly, wet wipes and toilet seat covers are provided, and all other amenities are complete.
2. Service: The proprietress, originally from Fujian and raised in Macau, offers thoughtful and attentive service. A few days before our arrival, she added us on WeChat and sent us a detailed travel map she spent over a month designing. Upon arrival, she provided us with recommendations for travel routes, scenic spots, transportation details (car and boat), and was always responsive to our inquiries. Her service deserves a 100% rating.
3. Cuisine: My colleague mentioned that her family never ate out during their stay, and we were similar. The beer duck and bamboo tube chicken soup were especially popular, and the breakfast was very rich. In the evenings, there was sweet soup and good wine. We left feeling full, satisfied, and with wonderful memories.
Next time the daily grind gets too much, this place will still be an excellent escape from the city.

Ever since I became a mom, traveling has been all about avoiding hassle. This time, I brought my one-year-old to Yangshuo and discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse in Xingping Ancient Town – Li Hua Chen's Garden. 📍Perfect Location, No Stress with Kids
The guesthouse is right in the core scenic area where the 20 RMB banknote backdrop is, built alongside the river, directly facing the Li River. A few steps downstairs take you to the bamboo raft boarding point, and exploring Xingping Ancient Town is super convenient. Open the window, and you're greeted by the picturesque Li River landscape. We could enjoy the mountains and rivers from our room with the baby, avoiding the crowds.
🏠Comfortable Room, Perfect Details
The room came equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and a smart toilet. The mattress was a King Koil, and the pillows were white goose down – incredibly comfortable. There was also a clean, dreamy bathtub with milk bath salts. After the baby was asleep, I could soak in the tub and enjoy the mountain view, letting all the fatigue melt away!
📸Sky Mirror, Instant Blockbuster Shots
The Sky Mirror on the 5th floor is a must-visit spot! The reflections of the mountains and rivers are as beautiful as a fairyland, making every shot a masterpiece. There's also a pool and garden on the first floor, and the baby had a blast playing in the yard.
💁♀️Attentive Service, Like Coming Home
The service was absolutely impeccable! Not only did they offer free breakfast and afternoon tea, but also thoughtful late-night snacks. The staff were incredibly patient with my baby. They even brought me a pot of tea when they saw me organizing photos, and sent us off warmly when we checked out.
Choosing the right accommodation is so crucial when traveling with kids, and this place is definitely the ultimate family-friendly spot in Yangshuo! While the baby is still young, let's show him more of this world 🌿

98KatharinaI visited during the off-peak season, and the hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the cruise pier, making it convenient to get to West Street. The river view room really won me over, and there's also a viewing terrace upstairs. The service was great; the front desk and restaurant staff were very polite and thoughtful. The hardware facilities are far superior to chain hotels – the lighting control, power outlets, sofa, and bedside tables are all very thoughtfully designed. The only minor thing is that the cruise boats on the river might sound their horns; I heard it twice in the morning, but it was still acceptable. I'd give it a 4.5-star rating to encourage them! 😁 Overall, I highly recommend this place and will choose to stay here again on my next visit.

If you are looking for the perfect hotel in Yangshuo, look no further, because you found it. At first I believed that all the hype was just that, but experiencing this hotel is literally a painting coming to life. The service staff is beyond attentive and looking out for your well-being. Bella was our host and, together with her colleagues, was always just a WeChat window away for any request. We needed an iron and it was brought to the room within five minutes. We missed the included afternoon tea the first night, so they put some dessert to the side and brought it, as well as a sweet little Chinese soup, to our room. This is really next-level service I have not witnessed before.
Our room was in building 8, which is like a five-minute walk, if you take your time walking. However, they offer to drive you from one building to another in a golf cart whenever you need. You just need to give a short heads-up. The room was simply stunning. We didn’t use the bathtub in the room since we had a wonderful pool right there in building 8. Breakfast was served at building 2, where you can gaze at the wonderful Yangshuo (20-RMB bank note view) karst mountains while munching down on your Western or Eastern-style breakfast. I opted for the freshly made beef noodle soup because, of course!
Included in the price is a 30-minute photo shoot with a professional photographer, also from the hotel, who also offers you the chance to put on costumes in the studio, if you want. The photos can be taken in building 2 or 8. We wanted to have them taken in building 2, since the garden offers so many cool and interesting settings. Even a Tolkien-style hobbit house or stairs to heaven. The kicker is that you get them dropped right onto your phone. No waiting needed! Also, if you need to wash your clothes, they have several modern washing machines and dryers on the second floor of building 8 at no extra charge. They even provide detergent, etc.
We only stayed two nights, but we look forward to coming back again. Next time I will try not to forget anything in the room, but even for the item I forgot, they generously offered to send it to the next hotel we stayed at in Shenzhen. ”No problem at all,” they said. We were in awe.

Every photo we took felt like a professional shot. There's an infinity pool, forest hot springs, and so many scenic spots on the hillside, we couldn't stop taking pictures all day. The room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The breakfast was delicious, and during leisure time, we could enjoy tea and mountain views, far from the crowds. It's a top choice for a relaxing getaway with friends. Highly recommended!

The service is gentle and warm, making you feel very comfortable. I tried the head spa and Zen meditation, and the techniques were professional; I felt completely relaxed afterward. The breakfast is light and healthy, fitting the overall peaceful vibe. The only minor downside is its location within the scenic area, meaning you have to return a bit earlier in the evening, but this also contributes to the tranquility. Overall, I'm very satisfied and it's perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Mich021The hotel was exactly as described — clean, well-located, and the staff were welcoming and so helpful. Friends and I stayed in different rooms and the entire experience was excellent.
Hotel is in a great location. Easy to do a Yulong River Rafting tour (5 minutes walk away), 15 minutes from city centre and bike rentals are located right outside the hotel. It’s also just off the main road which means a peaceful nights rest.
I loved that fresh linen was given everyday - not all hotels do this.
Staff were kind enough to help me locate my sunglasses that I left in a Didi. They called around for me as I was unable to communicate in Chinese. I managed to retrieve them. I really appreciate that! Check-in was quick, and the room was spacious with good Wi-Fi. Food was delicious and inexpensive.
Would definitely stay here again for the price, location and excellent service.

2. **Location (Superb):** This hotel is right next to West Street and the Li River. You're just a few dozen meters from the pedestrian street, truly offering a 'quiet retreat in a bustling area.' It was completely peaceful.
3. **Views & Design:** The lobby has a very stylish design, perfect for photos. From the rooftop terrace, you can watch the sunrise and enjoy the scenery (it's supposedly the tallest building on West Street).
4. **Service & Experience:** The front desk staff, particularly the attendant/concierge, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They proactively shared detailed tips for dining, entertainment, and activities, and even assisted with arranging an electric scooter rental. The overall experience was excellent.

Guest UserI came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!
