The staff at our stay made the experience even more special. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and patient, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Despite the language barrier, they went above and beyond to assist us with warmth and understanding. The food was simply amazing! Every meal was a delight, and we truly enjoyed exploring the flavors of the region. The afternoon tea was a lovely touch, keeping us warm and relaxed as we soaked in the views. Plus, having fresh exotic fruits in our room at all times was such a thoughtful and refreshing treat. A special shoutout to Lynn—she is an absolute gem! Her hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. And a huge thank you to TiaTia for capturing stunning photographs of my wife—memories we will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is it. Highly recommended!

Appreciate the upgrade by night duty manageress to their newly renovated room, which is spacious, which came with a huge super king-size bed. The photo-taking sessions that were offered free exceeded our expectations. The shots taken were highly professional, tempting us to purchase beyond the free pictures that were allocated to us. My wife was extremely happy with the photos and commented that the pictures taken were remarkable. Thanks again for their great efforts to make our stay memorable. Forgot to mention that breakfast, although it came with limited selection, offered surprisingly good local soup GUILIN NOODLE that surpasses many restaurant standards. An added bonus was the free shuttle service to the dock where the rafting took place and West Street, among other destinations within the vicinity. A gift upon our checkout was another surprise that delighted my wife and kids. On top of all these, the hotel is situated near many attractions.

Love the stay here so much. Manage to stay here 1 night. Will stay here again if I visit Yangshuo again. They got free evening tea per pax and free 1 set of traditional costume to wear inside hotel for 1 hour. The view here is very beautiful and instagramable. Their breakfast got many variety. All the staff are friendly and helpful too.

Hotel was great. Special shoutout to Sam who patiently spent each morning sharing with us scenic spots and food recommendations for each day! The housekeeping lady even went above and beyond to wipe some dirt off our luggage and left us extra water. Sam also left us a small departure gift which was very thoughtful. Location was very convenient — walking distance from West Street but without the noise and crowds. Cars are not allowed on the street from 12-4 daily, but this didn't cause us any trouble at all.

We have chosen this hotel after reading lots of good comments. Stay there for 6d5n ,and no regrets. The staff is very friendly and assists us to book the attractions tickets . The hotel has prepared a lot of kids friendly activities such as feeding animals, swings, and an indoor playground . My girls totally enjoyed the stay . The rooms are very spacious and comfy. It comes with complimentary drinks in the fridge The location is slightly away from the happening area however there is no problem calling Didi . Highly recommend with families with younger kids to stay here.

The best hotel out of the 10 we stayed in Guangxi. The room is really nice, with great design and spacious. Breakfast has good variety and the staff at the reception are so friendly and helpful. They are patient with our queries, and even helped us switched rooms fuss free, not one but twice cos cigarette smoke somehow get into our rooms. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the stay. It is located between Liu Sanjie and West street, and you can either walk or cab to these 2 venues. Good amenities for kids too.

The hotel is located in a convenient location and it is a few mins on taxi or within walking distance to the town center. There is also a convenience store downstairs for the supply of snacks and bottled water. There are also many restaurants nearby. The hotel is pretty new and clean, the staff are very nice and helpful. We can also view the mountain from our room and we are very pleased for our stay. It was a great time in Yangshuo.

Most attentive hotel i stayed during this shenzhen/guilin. Loved everything, just too bad i only booked one night. Their staff especially 燕子 & 小徐 are very helpful and friendly. Help us calling didi and where to go for bamboo rafting. The distance of the hotel is just walking distance to a wharf station and u easily rent a electric bike outside their hotel. The aunty behind the hotel is very nice and taught me how to ride the tri-bike.

Room view vs Customer Service. Pros : Credit to the lady who spoke English at the reception. She is a gem to the hotel, she went the extra miles to ensure our plans went well. Perfect, Xiaojie ! Becoz of her, we are willing to give 5 stars ! Cons : Lake view, almost fully blocked by the roof of the restaurant below, which is a total disappointment ! Neverthe less, stunning mountain view. Room tips : Go for a higher floor, the lake view might be slightly better. Do add some fake grass carpet over the roof for a more pleasant sight.

The stay at SYYF was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The room is cozy and spacious, with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the mountains. It’s also a hi tech smart room with a voice controlled assistant, Xiaodu, that can control the lights and open/shut the curtains (though it only understands Chinese). There’s also a cute tea set which is great for relaxing by the window. The room is equipped with AC and heat that works great, and the lights can go from bright to a dimmer evening mode, as well as sleep. We also got complimentary sodas, extremely cozy robes and nice house shoes for lounging. The breakfast is served 8-10AM is was definitely one of the best we have experienced in China while traveling. It was robust and offered both regional and western cuisine. There is a lot of ongoing construction on the street that the property is on so be careful. It may be a bit of traffic congestion due to large machines, however the noise was not heard from our room. It might be challenging for Didi drivers to access but there are also e-scooters for rent for about 30 yuan per day. The hotel is surrounded by mountains which are lit up at night for a gorgeous landscape at any time. The welcome photoshoot was fun, with traditional clothes you can borrow. We spent about 30-45 minutes using different props across 3 locations on the property, and got tons of photos that we loved. The staff is so accommodating and responsive and they helped with every little question. The bring lots of thoughtful small pleasantries which added a special touch and made us feel very cherished. They also offered a free shuttle for our departure ride to the train station at the end of our stay. We came in early January and the weather was chilly at night and pleasant during the day. With a jacket it’s not too bad and on a sunny day it’s pleasant with a cool breeze. We had a massage too, which you can order to your room or go to the spa which is close, and they provide shuttle service. The massage was good but a bit pricey even with the 50% off. There are less expensive places in the town not too far away. West street is a popular tourist spot which is also close, about 15-20 minutes away by e-scooter. There’s plenty of shopping, restaurants and a little night life, but we didn’t go out during this trip. 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend staying here! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Yangshuo, and this place makes you REALLY want to come back!
