First off, I have to commend the butler service. They helped with our luggage, introduced us to the hotel and its facilities, and were incredibly responsive to all our requests – truly exceptional!
Secondly, the hotel environment is simply stunning. It's so pleasant to be here; every moment felt like a treat. The hotel boasts a swimming pool, a tea house, a 'day coffee, night wine' bar, a restaurant, and even a small camping area – I absolutely loved it.
Also, the hotel's afternoon tea was incredibly delicious. It didn't taste pre-made at all, and the ingredients were top-notch, so you could enjoy it without any worries. Dinner featured authentic local Yangshuo specialties, with a wild and rustic flavor that I personally found quite light. Breakfast offered a rich variety of options, a mix of Chinese and Western, and beyond the buffet, there were made-to-order dishes that were very tasty.
Finally, the mountain view room I stayed in had an exceptional view. The room was very spacious, featuring a walk-in closet, a sofa, a balcony, a minibar, and a small fridge. They also provided snacks and welcome fruits. Plus, there's a bathtub 🛁 – soaking in the tub with some music at night was pure bliss.
What's more, over 100 celebrities and public figures have stayed at this hotel, so we got to experience what the stars do! I highly recommend everyone to stay here; it will bring you unexpected delightful surprises.

I didn't arrive in Yangshuo until 7 PM.
I originally thought I'd just wash up and go to bed, then start exploring and eating the next day.
But then! West Street was right downstairs from the hotel!!
As soon as I put my luggage down, the lively atmosphere downstairs completely drew me in.
The brightly lit street was full of tourists.
I wandered around, eating and drinking, and ended up staying out until midnight! ⏰
I didn't waste a single moment, it was incredibly satisfying!
The next morning, I woke up early and had a bowl of authentic Guilin rice noodles at the hotel.
Then, I leisurely went downstairs to see West Street in the daytime.
Without the nighttime hustle and bustle, it had a more relaxed and chill vibe. 🫧
This pace was truly so comfortable!
I particularly want to praise Bo BO Hotel:
✔️ Light industrial design – The lobby is super stylish, every photo you take looks amazing, 100% photo-op worthy.
✔️ Super comfortable family room – Even though it's right next to West Street, it was incredibly quiet at night! A dream come true for light sleepers.
✔️ Amazing location – The pedestrian street is right downstairs, with local snacks and unique shops all within easy reach, a paradise for foodies and shoppers.
Due to limited availability, I could only book a family room. The cute panda and pony rocking chairs were very whimsical! If you're coming with family, this is a great option~

Lldw89Wow, what can we say! We have just finished a wonderful stay at this hotel and loved every moment. The staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly. The hotel was in a lovely, quiet location. It took about 25 minutes to walk to the main town. We loved the pool, room and restaurant. We don't usually eat breakfast but here we ate it everyday because it was so good! If you want a relaxing break, we really recommend here!

MM320574****Had a truly wonderful and relaxing weekend at Sugar House!
At night, you can see so many stars from the hotel, and the greenery and fresh air are fantastic. The ducks and bunnies are also well cared for and super cute! The cultural workshops are very unique; there were several I wanted to join, but I only had time for sugar painting and basket weaving.
The bamboo raft is super convenient – no need to go to the county pier. You can board directly from the hotel's back entrance. The route is less crowded and the scenery is beautiful.
The staff are all very warm and friendly. Our butler, Luna, provided thoughtful service, responded professionally and quickly, and even arranged for the kitchen to make ginger tea for us when she learned we were feeling a bit under the weather.
The hotel's homemade date cake and passion fruit cake have a unique taste.
I really love hotels with such a warm atmosphere. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and will stay again if I get the chance.

LLemon MacaronsAmazing rooftop view!!!!! After staying two days in Yangshuo we decided to switch our hotel to more secluded area to experience the real beauty of karst mountains. We were not disappointed. This hotel is fully surrounded by beautiful mountains. They have their rooftop set up for beautiful sunset and we were able to see so many stars at night. It was truly a relaxing experience. The hotel manager spoke good English. They upgraded our room to a honeymoon suite. What a pleasant surprise! They were also very helpful with planning our activities. We hiked up to Damian mountain one day and enjoyed unforgettable view. Although it was a bit strenuous climbing every step was worth it. The view was sooooo rewarding. Back to hotel, here are some pros and cons of this hotel. PROS: 1. Amazing view. 2. Friendly and helpful staff. 3. Restaurant served delicious food and they were very accommodating to our special diet. CONS: 1. DiDi/Taxi is not available here. Hotel offers free pickup and drop off service to ferry dock (5 minute ride) Pay 5rmb to cross the river (2 minute ride). Get dropped off at ancient town “Xingping.” This town has many restaurants, shops and convenience. It’s quite simple to get to Xingping. People like me don’t mind the inconvenience because we chose to stay at secluded hotel location. 2. Room needs some upgrade with furniture and plumbing. Sofa can use some spotting. Overall we were very satisfied with this hotel and we will definitely return!

Llalalanana_Randomly picked this hotel in Yangshuo and it turned out to be amazing! The 270-degree river view balcony room with a soaking tub lets you unwind while gazing at the stunning mountains and rivers – it's so therapeutic, I wish I could stay longer. The room is fully equipped with amenities like a smart toilet and a bathtub, and the bedding is super comfortable. Public areas include a spa and a gym, and for those with kids, the children's play area is a real lifesaver. The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, and the complimentary afternoon tea is also a nice touch. The Sky Mirror on the rooftop is fantastic for photos. Plus, it's super convenient as it's close to Guilin Eternal Love, Yulong River, and Ten Mile Gallery.

YYILThe staff took such good care of us, with tea always available and delicious meals planned around our schedules. The owner offered to pick us up locally or take us on hikes if they were free.
The room was itself warm and clean. And the location, high up in the hills, was breathtaking. It is a bit remote though, so it’s a good idea to discuss transportation with the owner ahead of time.
If you’re adventurous, there’s a trail up to DaMian Mountain directly next to the place. There’s also an easier hike through citrus orchards that follows the river.
Bonus was the cute and friendly dog that loved getting pets and would guide you along trails!

GGuest UserWe have to admit we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our receptionist, Xiaoyao, who was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. He quickly answered all our questions and was always happy to assist us with any queries or issues. His caring attitude made us feel very comfortable, and his excellent English made communication a breeze. Xiaoyao truly made a difference in our experience at both the hotel and in the town!
However, regarding the hotel itself, I have to say that the standards were lower than advertised. While our room was nice, modern, and fresh, the pool area needs serious renovation. We noticed missing tiles and poor maintenance. Although the view from the pool was spectacular and we enjoyed using it, those seeking higher standards might find their needs unmet.
Despite its flaws, this hotel has great potential, and I believe it deserves outstanding reviews—perhaps it did a decade ago. I truly hope it will be restored to its former glory. Breakfast consisted of a typical Chinese spread, which might not be the best fit for Western guests like us; it would have been nice to have more options. Thankfully, Xiaoyao made us lovely coffee each morning, which added a nice touch to our breakfast routine!
We liked the hotel’s location as well, situated a bit away from the hustle and bustle, yet still close enough to explore the main attractions. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and with a few improvements, this hotel could be even better!

GGuest UserWe absolutely loved our stay at the orange and white homestay! The space is simple, spacious, CLEAN, and tastefully artistic, surrounded by all kinds of beautiful green foliage that made it feel like a peaceful retreat.
The house itself is stunning, thoughtfully designed by the talented owner with great attention to detail. The location couldn’t be better—just a short, scenic walk to the river, passing by a charming strawberry U-PICK farm on the way. Along the walk and nearby, there are tons of delicious street food options, fresh-squeezed juice stands, and great coffee spots.
Bikes were conveniently arranged and delivered right to the back door, making it easy and fun to explore the area. Our kids absolutely LOVED this place—they didn’t want to leave! They especially loved the chance to meet and feed the on-site animals, including a friendly llama and a variety of small animals.
One of our favorite moments was the relaxed afternoon setup—while the kids enjoyed playing with play dough, the adults were treated to a complimentary afternoon tea overlooking the gorgeous hotel grounds and dramatic mountain backdrop. It was pure bliss. The breakfast provided was delicious and beautifully prepared, with plenty of options the kids enjoyed.
Even the pool was a hit—despite it not being heated in April, the kids still played in it for over an hour.
This place completely exceeded our expectations. We would 100% stay here again the next time we visit Guilin!

KKenny K.Beware before booking. You have to walk up about two-storey high staircase and about 50 meter route before arriving at the hotel counter. It may not be suitable for old people and who have knee/stair climbing problem. However, after the counter, there is lift to the rooms and the roof top cafe which you can have a good view of YangShou beautiful landscape. It is located infront of the West Street main entrance and local bus stops. Local buses are not so frequent here, but tourists can easily rent an electricity motor bike, price range from RMB20-30 per day to go around the tourist attractions.
