"I had a particularly satisfying stay this time! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. The lobby is clean and grand, and check-in was very quick. The staff were all gentle and polite. The room was spotless and well-laid out, with soft, skin-friendly bedding – I could literally feel the travel fatigue melt away as soon as I lay down. The bathroom facilities were in perfect condition, hot water supply was stable, and the toiletries were of good quality. The overall sound insulation was great; it was very quiet at night, leading to excellent sleep quality. It's suitable for both leisure travel and a short stopover. The value for money is top-notch, and it's definitely on my re-book list. I genuinely recommend it to everyone!"

"Transiting in Haikou on my way back from Indonesia, I noticed many hotels in this area offer shuttle services, as the airport can be a long walk and hard to find.
They offer 24-hour Meilan Airport pick-up and drop-off (unlimited rides): I arrived at 1:30 AM, and the hotel's private shuttle was waiting for me – no need to wait! If you need to go to the airport the next day, you can book it when you check in.
Hygiene: Very clean.
Environment: The bed was super comfortable.
The toiletries also felt very nice.

AAnonymous UserI chose the State Guest House for my trip to Haikou to see ONER's concert. It really exceeded my expectations! Although the hotel is a bit older, it's very clean and conveniently located just a short drive from the airport. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, the Haikou State Guest House offered several different types of pillows that perfectly suited my sleeping habits. My room faced the sea and was quiet, and the curtains were excellent at blocking out light. It was a wonderful surprise to have all three of my personal needs met. Most importantly, the hotel was incredibly thoughtful; they provided ONER merchandise and even offered a shuttle service to and from the concert, which saved me the hassle of driving and finding parking. It was incredibly convenient! It was also great to chat with fellow fans on the shuttle after the concert.

I'd especially like to commend Lin Shiru, who was beyond reproach. They also paid special attention to our children—extra fruit in their room and a robe that was the right size for our 6-year-old son.

SShangguanmingzhuqThis is a hidden gem of a hotel. It's just across the street from Xixiu Beach, called Bindao Avenue. Xixiu Beach is a famous scenic spot in Haikou Bay with the most yachts, tourists, and sailing activities. I often sit here to sunbathe and daydream, which is very pleasant. The price is very reasonable, so I stayed for several more days.

TTiantianTo celebrate Children's Day, I brought my family to Mission Hills again, but this stay was a mixed bag. I rarely write reviews, but this time I really want to give a detailed one.
First, let's talk about the good parts:
1. Upon check-in, the lobby service was very friendly, especially Steven from the lobby staff. Before our car even stopped, we heard a warm welcome. He helped with luggage, guided us through check-in, and introduced family activities, etc. He left a deep impression on me and instantly brightened my holiday mood. Check-in at the front desk was surprisingly fast, no waiting at all, which is rare.
2. The lobby bar staff was very enthusiastic. From entering the lobby bar to sitting down, they thoroughly explained the afternoon tea options and thoughtfully informed us about available discounts. Absolutely fantastic! I apologize for not remembering the name of this excellent staff member.
3. The recreational activities were plentiful. At Squirrel Land, there seemed to be many staff members, but no one proactively asked us what we wanted to play. After we inquired, we paid for the chargeable activities. While my child was enjoying an activity, a young lady came over and enthusiastically introduced the Children's Day activities available tomorrow. This definitely deserves praise.
Now, I need to talk about the disappointing aspect: the buffet dinner!!!!!!!!
Looking forward to Mission Hills' buffet dinner, I booked a package that included it. I also invited two relatives to join us for the buffet. I spent over 400 RMB on ** (platform name omitted, assuming it's a booking platform), and for 4 adults and 1 child, I estimated the total buffet cost should be at least 800+ RMB. What kind of terrible dining experience did I end up having?
1. On May 30th, I called the restaurant in advance to make a reservation, but was rejected. I was told to come early to secure a table because there was a group booking. At exactly 6:00 PM, I arrived at the restaurant. It was incredibly crowded, and many food items weren't being replenished. A waiter suggested I come back after 7:30 PM. Okay, I accepted. I called my family members and told them to come after 7 PM.
2. At 7:10 PM, we went back to the restaurant and finally got a table. Then, something even worse happened: there was nothing to eat. Plates were empty. We were given four lobster coupons, but we couldn't find any lobsters anywhere??????? In the end, we didn't get any. The plates were empty, the grill was empty. Okay, we waited, until almost 9 PM. We mainly ate noodles, fruit, and air, and felt full. We didn't want to make a scene and spoil our mood further. The table next to us was complaining.
So, I advise anyone planning to have the Mission Hills buffet dinner soon: don't choose it. You'd be better off going to Mission Hills New Town for other dining options.
4. Regarding breakfast, has the quality declined? What happened to Mission Hills' standards? Besides the rooms and hotel facilities, which are still familiar, the F&B is simply a disaster. I apologize, but I'm still angry thinking about it now.
I suggest checking out the Sanzhengyue buffet dinner. It's similarly priced at over 200 RMB per person, also full, but the food quality is consistently good.
Finally, on the check-out day, I met a short-haired female manager in the lobby and couldn't help but voice my complaints. I'm grateful that someone listened. So, ultimately, I'm giving a 5-star rating, which is for the hotel staff, the excellent service staff. They definitely deserve praise. Oh, and the late-night sweet soup was fantastic.

马马不停蹄This is a massive hotel, within walking distance from Airport Terminal 1. Terminal 2 is a bit further, but there's a large shuttle bus service available, making it perfect for early morning flights. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a three-part bathroom featuring a separate vanity, toilet, and shower. However, a major drawback is that the toilet and shower rooms are made of entirely transparent glass. While there's an outer door for privacy, it means you can't use both simultaneously, which can be inconvenient if someone urgently needs to use one while the other is occupied.

I arrived very late at the hotel and felt the air conditioning wasn't working well. Since it was late, I just made do for the night. The next day, I informed the staff, and they immediately sent someone to check and repair it. When it couldn't be fixed, they promptly moved me to a different room. The hotel environment is beautiful and comfortable.

YYangguangyuhai233Overall, my stay was incredibly satisfying. My kids absolutely loved the children's play area and the outdoor water park. The hotel staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, taking great care of us. I'd especially like to commend Rebecca and Justin from the front office department. They truly reminded me of Hilton's consistently high service standards, delivering service that exceeded expectations even though the hotel was very busy these past two days due to a Latin dance competition. I will definitely choose Hilton again for my next stay. I highly recommend Hilton Haikou Greentown; it's the top choice for families with children.

Changying Global 100 Fantawild Wonderland (First Entry Ticket): The park is a bit far, but if you have some free time, it's worth checking out. The overall environment was pleasant. I went during the off-peak season, which made the price very reasonable. Definitely recommended.

LLiudmila KuznetsovaA gorgeous hotel. I recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing seaside getaway away from it all. We stayed in a beautiful tropical botanical garden, beautiful grounds, swimming pools (one sports, one children's, and fish for pedicures). The breakfasts were fantastic – they had everything, both European and local. The girls at reception were very helpful, offering directions, and even calling a taxi at my request (I happened to be without a phone line and only had cash; I couldn't link my card to the app), for which I'm very grateful. It's the first time I've seen a real king-size bed; the three of us slept very comfortably, there's a huge balcony, and convenient drying racks.
The hotel cafe has delicious dumplings for 28Y – suitable for children; they're diet-friendly because they're steamed, and you can add spices to taste. I didn't go to the restaurant for dinner; every other dish was missing, and the prices are like in a good restaurant. What I would add to the hotel:
- It's a shame the hot tubs with mineral springs haven't been working for a long time;
- All Europeans and Russians need the sea and beach first and foremost, but in China, there's no sun lounger culture, unfortunately, on the beach, and the hotel seems to be geared exclusively toward Chinese people. 🤷 They even put up a sign saying swimming is prohibited, which kind of scared us at first (this was to deflect the responsibility of not having a lifeguard). Without the sea, we wouldn't need you. We swam all day, enjoying the sea. Look at how empty the beach is, it's priceless;
- The advertised cafe on the beach hasn't been open for a long time and sits dismal, losing revenue. The folding chairs, which were abundant, are unusable, and the employee took mine away from me harshly.
- The nearest store (for fruit and yogurt, for example) and cafes are about 1 km away, so I didn't give the hotel a full 5 stars; I gave it 4 stars because of the location. To buy something worthwhile, we went to the snack street—it's a local landmark. We took a taxi (~20 Yen). I think you could take bus number 9 from the hotel, but the stop is very far from the hotel—why?
We found a really cool cafe on the corner (~1 km away) where the action is. For 15 Yen, any dish is large and delicious (last photo).
I had a very budget-friendly vacation like never before, and the quality was excellent.

GGuest UserThis time, I brought my beloved son to the Vickers Hotel. He loved it. He said the owner was so nice to him, playing with him and giving him candy. He absolutely loved her. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The quilt and bed were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. He fell asleep in seconds and woke up the next day, saying, ”Mom, this is so comfortable! I'll stay here again next time!” I smiled and nodded, ”Of course!”
