"This place offers incredible value for money, far surpassing most other accommodations in the area. The room was meticulously cleaned, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, so there was no dampness or strange odors. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The host was incredibly thoughtful, providing essential items like umbrellas and chargers for emergencies. GGuest UserThe mattress has a soft and a firm side, which was perfect for my back problems! The water pressure in the bathroom shower was excellent – super good! The personalized service was exceptional; Sherry, the Assistant Manager in the lobby, deserves special praise. She noticed I hadn't come to the restaurant for breakfast one day and proactively messaged me to ask if I needed breakfast delivered to my room. It truly made me feel at home! The buffet restaurant's service was just okay, and the food quality could be improved.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding. The breakfast was excellent and varied, offering fruits, bread, hot dishes, and even freshly cooked items. The room also came with complimentary drinks, and you could pick up free coffee at the front desk. They even provided late-night snacks! But what truly stood out was the service. The front desk staff were not only beautiful but also had lovely voices, making every interaction a pleasure.

AAnonymous UserI chose the State Guest House for my trip to Haikou to see ONER's concert. It really exceeded my expectations! Although the hotel is a bit older, it's very clean and conveniently located just a short drive from the airport. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, the Haikou State Guest House offered several different types of pillows that perfectly suited my sleeping habits. My room faced the sea and was quiet, and the curtains were excellent at blocking out light. It was a wonderful surprise to have all three of my personal needs met. Most importantly, the hotel was incredibly thoughtful; they provided ONER merchandise and even offered a shuttle service to and from the concert, which saved me the hassle of driving and finding parking. It was incredibly convenient! It was also great to chat with fellow fans on the shuttle after the concert.

GGuest UserStepping into the room, the huge floor-to-ceiling windows framed the 'private beach' perfectly, like a painting! In the evening, sitting by the window watching the sea, enjoying a cozy moment by the bathtub, with coconut trees, white tents, and beach umbrellas outside. The sound of waves mixed with the evening breeze felt like stepping into a holiday scene from a movie.
The old pottery jar was brimming with pink flowers, and tall palm trees provided ample shade. Posing for photos with the sea as a backdrop, my straw hat and green backpack instantly created that 'island vibe' in every shot.
The beach was equally stunning: crystal-clear water, soft golden sand, and small fishing boats gently beached. In the distance, a few fishing figures dotted the horizon. Walking barefoot on the sand, watching the clouds drift by, all my worries were swept away by the sea breeze.
From the meticulous landscape design and the romantic sea views from the room, to the relaxed beach terrace, this guesthouse truly embodied the 'island dream' in every single detail. Staying here, I finally understood what it means to 'live life poetically and give your holiday back to the sea.' Coming here during my pregnancy, with convenient pick-up and drop-off, was incredibly helpful!

MM254153****Facilities: The hotel is very new and has all the necessary amenities. There's a washing machine, gym, and restaurant. The environment is excellent, tastefully decorated in a vintage and Nanyang style. The bedding is very comfortable; the mattress is just right, not too soft or too hard. Each bed comes with two types of pillows, so guests who prefer either soft or firm pillows will find one that suits them – that's a huge plus! The 4th-floor restaurant also serves great food, making it possible to spend the entire day at the hotel without needing to go out.
Cleanliness: All tables in the room, including those in the bathroom, were very clean.
Service: The front desk staff wasn't overly enthusiastic, but they did handle everything I needed them to, so it was fine. The airport transfer driver was nice and quite chatty.
Airport pick-up/drop-off service: Having the airport transfer service was truly hassle-free, and the vehicles provided were new and comfortable.

XX&LWe stayed in a family room for 3D2N. When we arrived, the customer service was impeccable. The front desk team greeted us warmly, and the check-in process was fast, smooth, and highly professional. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to ensure our comfort, demonstrating true hospitality standards.
The hotel facilities are top-tier and well-maintained. The pool has reasonal size for a non-peak period stay. My kids enjoy whenever they are in the pool.. Our room was spacious, perfectly clean, and aircon is ongoing even when we are not in the room.
This hotel perfectly blends luxury amenities with warm, attentive care. We cannot wait to return for another memorable stay

GGuest UserMy recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Haikou, truly met international 5-star standards in every aspect. The hotel boasts an excellent location and top-notch facilities. The room layout was well-designed, offering outstanding views, and the dining and recreational amenities were comprehensive.
The hotel's family-friendly program is incredibly mature and well-developed. The dedicated kids' club is fully equipped, regularly hosting children's themed activities such as baking, outdoor sports, and engaging educational programs. The rooms even come with a full set of exclusive children's amenities, perfectly catering to families.
The service team was professional and meticulous. A big thank you to Winni and Michelle for their warm hospitality during my stay!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get around. It's also within walking distance to MixC World, and public transport nearby is very accessible. The front desk staff, Ms. Xiao Xin, was incredibly warm and professional. She even upgraded my room to a spacious and comfortable sea-view king room, where I could enjoy a side sea view. The self-service laundry on the 31st floor was very convenient, making it a top choice for business trips. She also helped me upgrade my room type. When checking out, I forgot my headphones, but I was already almost boarding my flight. They proactively helped me mail them back, which I really appreciate! I'll definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel is about a 5-minute drive from Xinhai Port and the duty-free shop, and boasts complete facilities including a swimming pool, hot springs, and a beach.
Our butler, Fiona, contacted us a day in advance to ask if we had any special requests. She thoughtfully prepared children's toiletries and even set up the beds for us – truly dedicated! During our stay, she also provided fresh fruit and, to our delight, a cake for a birthday celebration. Such attention to detail! She also proactively helped us with our luggage whenever we returned. A big thank you to all the hotel staff who assisted us.
The room faces east with a fantastic sea view, allowing us to enjoy the sunrise in the morning.
Breakfast opens at 6:30 AM, which is very convenient for guests catching early ferries. It's incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, and they even have kid-friendly utensils. The food flavors are also well-suited for children. Their yogurt bar, with various fruit flavors that you can serve yourself, was a particular hit with the kids.

GGuest UserOk so this is another B&B home stay that I tried after staying for one night in an overpriced one next door. This is better price wise but much worse in terms of cleanliness and overall care for the place. My room had previous guests hair, plastic wrapping my, a used juice bottle in the fridge and no toilet paper. And also overall for a new place, it looked very run down. I cut my stay short as a result.
This stretch of the beach is nice and all these home stays are decent accommodations for like a B&B or Homestay style. Same issues - village is quiet during the hot day and literally nothing to do as there are no swimming pools or gyms or spas or anything really around. Street stalls open in the evening when Sun comes down. This place is also overpriced although much less so than the previous one. Sgd68/night for a room with direct ocean view. Much better than Sgd125/night one next door.
Overall recommendation - unless u are Chinese or speak fluent Chinese and don’t mind staying in the room all day reading or doing nothing, while watching the ocean, don’t recommend to stay here.
I got a good deal at Holidays Inn nearby for sgd50/night with good breakfast included top floor. Not luxurious and needs some maintenance too, but at least has a gym, a restaurant, and a sky pool.
Overall disappointing experience @ this rongshangliao village.
