Haikou Apartments

Warmly greeted at reception and was upgraded to a family room. Staff brought us and our bags to the room, and made sure we were happy with it. Any queries or requests were instantly resolved. Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and clean. Kids loved the xiaodu-xiaodu smart room controls. Hotel itself is walking distance to several malls, Starbucks and the WanLv garden. Downstairs is a ”must-try” renowned bakery. Good dimsum restaurant on the 3rd floor. A top choice if we visit Haikou again!

Was given a free upgrade to a large room with separate living room and bedroom and two toilets. The room was so good we could stay here for weeks! Location of hotel central and not too far from attractions. Buffet breakfast was delicious! For other meals, a short 10 minute walk takes you to many options at MixC shopping centre.

Let's start with the positives. The rooms at the hotel were undeniably great. They were spacious, well-designed, and offered a comfortable ambiance. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room decor, making it a pleasant space to relax after a long day of exploring the area. The hotel's breakfast selection was another highlight of my stay. There was a good variety of options, and the quality of the food was quite impressive. Starting my day with a satisfying breakfast definitely set a positive tone for my daily adventures. Though the overall service at the hotel was just okay, there was one staff member who stood out and made a significant difference in my stay - Kitty. Kitty's exceptional assistance and attentiveness were truly commendable. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. However, there were some glaring issues that affected my experience. First and foremost, the Wi-Fi connection was terrible. As a traveler, having reliable internet access is essential for staying connected and planning daily activities. Unfortunately, the unreliable Wi-Fi at the hotel made this difficult, and it was quite frustrating. Additionally, the swimming pool was a letdown. Despite appearing beautiful in the pictures, it was actually dirty during my stay. I was looking forward to relaxing by the poolside, but the unclean water made it an unappealing option. Furthermore, the location of the hotel was a significant drawback. It was far from most of the popular attractions and amenities, making it inconvenient and time-consuming to travel to places of interest. I found myself spending more time commuting than enjoying the destination itself. On the culinary front, while there was a restaurant called ”China First,” the food was indeed excellent. However, I can't overlook the fact that it was expensive, and overall, the hotel felt overpriced for the amenities and services provided.

Second time staying in this hotel and enjoying. Really good price/value. Hotel is in a central area and nice to relax alone or in couple.

Although the hotel is a five-star hotel, it is relatively old. The overall service is OK, and the airport drop-off service is great! I will choose this hotel again next time I come to Haikou! The hotel's breakfast is still very rich!

Amazing to our homestay. The overall design is chic, with a sense of ancient Greek and Middle Eastern aesthetics, simple but full of details. The interior design is reasonable and livable, and the equipment configuration is high. It is worth mentioning that the wooden room card, smart housekeeper, smart curtains, lighting, toilet... The geographical position is superior, located on the top floor of the supermarket, you can slightly overlook the Haikou, downstairs is the shopping mall and food, Twenty meters away is the snack street and various gourmet shops, opposite the south gate of Hainan University and the bus station, convenient transportation.

Atour light is a great hotel even though its not as big as other hotels. I like to praise the staff'for their positive, helpful attitude. I am satisfied with their service, especially a young man by the name of Yan Yee who goes beyond his duty to help with translation of english. Assist in booking our cab and assist especially with the mandarin address which we were clueless. Kudos to all the front line staff and ground staff who were very helpful even when they were busy. A young cheerful lady staff (did not get her name) was also very helpful too in helping us on our final day of checkout when we have difficulty with the didi booking App. We very much appreciated their fantastic service, the past few days of our stay here. Keep up the good job. Your management should be very proud to have such a great team. Our 4-nights stay here was made pleasant. We wish to thank the staff, senior staff & everyone for the service rendered. Our rooms are 1306 (me) & 1307 from 20-29th Nov 2024 and we are from Singapore. 👍🙏

After we update to a large family suite room (x2 room) , it was well maintained , cozy and comfortable. Toilet is privacy too. Location was very very convenient and walkable to most attractions too.  A special compliment to a customer service young lady 小姐姐 at the counter. She’s young and passionate about hotel management and her helpfulness in assisting us to local attractions. Her enthusiastic energy really need appraisal. Her work behaviors really an asset to Zizai Music hotel.  Highly recommend to guests who booked with them. I’ll believe you be well taken care of. 

The hotel🏨 has very convenient transportation, complete facilities, very clean and comfortable, and the check-in hall is elegant. I went straight to the hotel🏨 to check in after getting off the plane yesterday. The front desk staff of the hotel was dressed in formal attire and smiled😊, which made me feel very friendly. Especially Manager Chen👩💼 has skilled business skills, answers all questions, and provides thoughtful services to guests everywhere. I must give a thumbs up👍 Thank you for the service of your hotel, which makes me feel that I will really come to Haikou again. I will stay in this hotel with super cost-effectiveness🏨 I like it💕 I love it😐 The breakfast environment is also good👍 The coffee☕️ is delicious😐

This is really a treasure hotel. The whole family gave it a five-star rating. It is definitely worth recommending! We will choose to stay here next time we come to Haikou. Service: Butler Xiaolin checked in for us, arranged a warm and comfortable room, and took the initiative to provide thoughtful and warm information and help. The security department wiped the front and rear windshields of our car attentively and left a greeting card. Warm service is often reflected in the details. Thumbs up 👍 Hygiene: The hygiene of the room and corridor is really super good. I have high requirements for the hygiene of staying, but this place really meets my high standards. Thumbs up for the cleaning department 👍 Facilities: The new hotel in 2024, from the lobby, restaurant, corridor, room, all the facilities are new, high-quality and clean, especially the room, which is clean, bright and high-quality. There are separate living rooms and rooms to meet the needs of family members for activities and rest in different areas. Catering: The hotel's breakfast is very rich, high-quality and delicious, the supplementary dishes are very timely and sufficient, the environment layout and decoration are also very elegant, and the whole family is very happy to eat. Environment: It is very convenient to travel, shop and eat around the hotel. The hotel has its own parking lot. You can park for free by providing your license plate number when you check in. There is a very popular Lao Ba Cha in Haikou near the hotel - Ju Fu An, which is very good and worth recommending!
