"This was by far the best stay I’ve ever had in Haikou. First, the staff were absolutely amazing. I messaged the day before to ask if there was a cake shop nearby, since it was my wife’s birthday. When we arrived at the hotel, they not only provided a cake for us free of charge, but also upgraded our room to a top-floor sea view room—completely complimentary. The room itself was spotless and beautiful. The swimming pool was a short walk from the hotel, but very nice, and the hot springs and fish spa were truly relaxing. We also tried the buffet for just 198 RMB per person, and it was well worth it. The food was excellent—the sashimi was fresh, beer and wine were included, and the variety was broad. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Haikou."

Downstairs, there's a snack night market with delicious grilled oysters and seafood noodles, offering a wide range of dining options. Parking friendly: Both above-ground and underground parking are available. Guests can enjoy three free parking entries per day for just 10 yuan, and there are multiple charging spots for electric vehicles, which is very convenient for those traveling by EV. Minor drawbacks: The front desk is on the 10th floor of the apartment building, so finding the entrance can be a bit tricky for first-time visitors. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, so you'll need to go out to eat."

The breakfast was also delicious; we stayed three days and went every morning. The back exit leads straight to the ocean, perfect for relaxing, though there isn't a sandy beach."

"The hotel is nice and has some decent amenities and the staff are very friendly and helpful, however it is a little outdated and in desperate need of a refurbishment. Our room smelt like damp and the pool wasn't cleaned the entire time we were there with leaves everywhere in it. Bit to mention the metal bars between the room and pool had severely rusted. But again this just means it needs a refurbishment. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help us and meet our needs."

Cleanliness: The lobby's glass walls were sparkling clean, and the room was quite tidy. Facilities: The front desk can also assist with currency exchange, and there are maps available. Environment: The high-rise lobby offers an expansive view, with the Cloud Cave Library and coastline visible in the distance."

"Service: Every time I arrived at the hotel entrance, a staff member would promptly open and close the door for me and help with my luggage. If I encountered any issues, every staff member in the hotel was willing to help, and their service attitude was excellent. 👍 Environment: This time, I booked an executive room on a higher floor. When exiting the elevator on my floor, it felt a bit stuffy and the air didn't seem to circulate well. 😕 Hygiene: This is the first time I've stayed in a hotel room where the trash can didn't have a liner. It was quite inconvenient. 😖 Location: The hotel has a great location on the Bund, right next to Century Bridge and the Cloud Cave Library. Taxis are very convenient. Overall, the stay was decent. 🤗"

What truly made our stay memorable was seeing the beautiful sunset right from the hotel – it was so special! A big thank you to our butler, Joan, for all the thoughtful recommendations. "The service was excellent, and the room was clean and hygienic. They offer free parking and even deliver complimentary porridge to your room in the evenings. Laundry service is also available, which was very convenient. You need to swipe your room card to use the elevator, making it very secure. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time."

"The air conditioner blew directly onto my head, causing a headache after a short while. I was also worried about getting sick from the draft while I slept. The central air conditioning didn't allow for adjusting the airflow direction, and it was very noisy. I called the front desk to complain and asked if I could switch rooms. The staff member said she would go and discuss it, but then I never heard back. I ended up sleeping with the air conditioner off in 30-degree weather. The next day, after checking out, they called me, presumably to ask for a good review. I explained my issues again. To my surprise, the staff member cheerfully said, 'We're really sorry, we understand,' and then hung up. Overall, it was not a good experience."
