LLing ིིྀI stayed at Julong Town for two nights and I really want to recommend this hidden gem of a hotel in the heart of Yangshuo's landscapes to everyone. The room had massive floor-to-ceiling windows, and as soon as you opened the door, you were greeted by an entire wall of karst peaks. Lying in bed in the morning, watching the clouds slowly weave around the mountains, it truly felt like living inside an ink wash painting.
The hotel's location is absolutely incredible. The back exit leads directly to the Yulong River, and the lotus pond was in full bloom. You absolutely *must* visit the 'Sky Mirror' on the top floor; the mountains reflected in the mirror create stunning photo opportunities. If you're traveling with kids, the children's playground, DIY lacquer fan and bead crafts, and feeding the bunnies can keep them entertained for half a day.
Service was simply perfect. Our butler proactively set up a group chat and sent thoughtful reminders about breakfast times, afternoon tea, and when the complimentary late-night noodles would be delivered. The freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were even more authentic than outside, and there were exquisite desserts every afternoon. When we returned in the evenings, warm late-night snacks were delivered directly to our room.
The facilities are also incredibly comprehensive, with a pool, gym, and tea room. The room even came with a washer-dryer combo, which was such a lifesaver when traveling with a child. For that window view and this level of service, I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Yangshuo.

The oversized outdoor infinity pool, backed by green mountains, reflects the entire pastoral mountain range. With heart-shaped soaking pools and paddleboards readily available, you can snap stunning photos here at sunset, effortlessly capturing French Riviera-style vacation vibes.
Stroll and unwind on the expansive 3000㎡ lawn. In the evening, sit on a bench and watch the sunset disappear behind the hills – it's so relaxing and therapeutic. Downstairs, there's a kids' club, making it a hassle-free, one-stop solution for families with children. Kids will happily spend the entire day at the hotel and won't want to leave.
A complimentary ethnic-themed photoshoot is included with your stay, so there's no need to hire a photographer. They'll capture shots on the lawn, by the pool, with mountain views, and at sunset spots.
The Yulong River Jima Bamboo Rafting Pier is just a few steps away, and you can rent electric scooters right at the entrance, reaching West Street in a convenient 15 minutes for shopping and dining.
The breakfast offers a rich variety, including authentic Guilin rice noodles and all sorts of other dishes.

GGuest UserMy stay at Tenglongge Panoramic Inn was an unforgettable package of delightful surprises and genuine warmth!
First off, the location is simply unbeatable – truly the prime viewing spot for the Longji Terraces. Open your window, and you're immediately greeted by the breathtaking, undulating curves of the rice paddies. When the clouds and mist roll in, it feels like living inside a classical painting. And watching the wisps of smoke rise from the valley at dusk, time genuinely seems to slow to a crawl. The inn itself is also incredibly clean and comfortable; every nook and cranny is meticulously tidied, making it a perfectly reassuring choice for families traveling with children.
The proprietress was even more heartwarming, treating us like close family. She welcomed us with hot tea the moment we arrived, enthusiastically sharing tips on the best spots for sunset views and recommending the most delicious bamboo rice. She even helped us carry our luggage all the way to our room.
But what I'll truly remember for a lifetime was the 'drone scare' that evening! It was already dark, and I was trying to capture night photos of the terraced fields when I accidentally flew my drone a bit too high. With the low visibility, it crashed into the trees, and I instantly panicked. As I was squatting on the ground, frantically trying to figure out what to do, the innkeeper appeared with a flashlight and simply said, 'Come on, I'll help you find it!'
It was pitch black in the mountains that night, impossible to see your hand in front of your face, and the path was incredibly steep. As we walked, a small venomous snake suddenly darted out, scaring me so much I almost screamed. But with lightning-fast reflexes, the innkeeper grabbed a branch and deftly pushed the snake away. We continued our search for nearly half an hour, stumbling through the uneven terrain, until we finally located the drone, tangled in grass and leaves within the bushes. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and relief, yet still shaking from the scare. He was drenched in sweat but kept repeating, 'As long as it's found, that's all that matters.'
This wasn't just a hotel stay; it truly felt like finding kind-hearted family in the mountains! And as for the scenery? Words aren't enough – I'll just let the photos speak for themselves. After all, even a tiny glimpse through the lens is enough to linger in your memory for a long, long time. Next time I'm in Longji, I'm definitely staying here again!

LLeonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language.
Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

MMantuzhiChecked in on the seventh day of the Chinese New Year. The price was around 400, which was great value for money. As soon as we entered the courtyard, there was an adorable alpaca, and my child was thrilled. The room and environment were both very nice, and the location was excellent. It's right off the main street with plenty of food options. You can rent an electric scooter at the entrance, and if you ride towards the back gate, you'll reach the Yulong River with beautiful scenery. A pleasant stay overall.

The hotel's location is great, by the river and close to nature. There are the waterlily ponds around the hotel and you can hear the delightful little frogs croaking at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful with all requests, and the hotel's interior is clean and beautifully designed. The pool is also very pleasant, as are the many activities offered here, and you can rent a scooter easily for convenient transport around.ation is great, by the river and close to nature. YYanyongqianI arrived in Guilin from Kunming late after 12 am and there is no tourist information counter staff at the airport to tell me where to wait for the hotel's airport transfer driver. Fortunately an airline check-in counter officer helped me call the hotel to find out where to wait for the driver. Please note wait for the driver next to the police kiosk after leaving Gate 6 of the domestic arrival terminal and crossing the lane. It took me 15 minutes to identify the driver because the driver did not show the placard showing the hotel name Shanshuiyunshang Hotel. The driver was impatiently waiting for a foreign tourist. So I identified myself as a Singaporean looking for the transfer driver of the hotel. He replied that I can follow him, who did not declare the hotel's name. Thank God he brought a group of tourists and me to Shanshuiyunshang Hotel to check-in. I also thank God that the driver escorts me to the Airport Flower Field, which is 569 metres away from the hotel, for plane-spotting, and I walk back to the hotel within 10 minutes to check-out of the hotel for my outgoing trip from Guilin after completing my plane-spotting mission. Other than the hotel airport transfer driver, there is the odour of smoke in the room but I have to bear with it until I leave and I cannot access the hotel wifi by scanning the QR code. The hotel restaurant is very small but dragonfruit is served and the breakfast amount is sufficient to fill my hunger. Shanshuiyunshang Hotel is one of several hotels along the road of Liangjiang Town that has accommodation for tourists but this hotel is the only one in Liangjiang Town to be listed on Trip.com. I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting in Liangjiang Town, the famous airport town of Guangxi.

The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and unique decoration style. It has both classical charm and modern comfort. The stay experience is very good.
The host was warm and thoughtful. He provided a lot of suggestions for nearby sightseeing and helped us plan our itinerary, making the trip easier and more enjoyable.
It is within walking distance of East and West Lanes, with many delicious restaurants nearby and convenient transportation. It is a good place to stay in a quiet area in a bustling city.
I highly recommend this homestay. Whether it is the environment, service or cost-effectiveness, it is impeccable. I will choose here again when I come to Guilin next time.
