Guilin Inns

This suite is very suitable for our parent-child travel. There is a small tatami room for the child to sleep, and there is no need to worry that he will fall off the bed. It is great! The service of the clerk is very good and very friendly. He will recommend local food to us! The location is excellent. As soon as you leave the inn, you will reach the scenic spot, which is very convenient for sightseeing.

The hotel is located in the very center of the city. If you exit the hotel you are on the main road of nightlife. There are many restaurants, street food and a supermarket nearby. It was a little difficult to find as you have to take the elevator to the third floor. Alternatively you can access the entrance by going to the third floor and walking some stairs. The staff was very friendly and half of them spoke English. Check in and out was hassle-free. The room was very spacious and clean. It has an AC which unfortunately blows directly on the bed even on the lowest setting (even after tinkering for a long time with the settings). So you are better off just shutting it off during the night. The room service was good and the room was cleaned daily. We also were supplied with fresh water. The hotel itself has a small area for free tea and coffee which we really appreciated. As the hallways are semi open smoking is allowed there. And there was no smell whatsoever (probably because it is so open). It even has a small balcony at the back with a view on the temple (great for pictures). I can totally recommend this hotel!

First of all, I'd like to thank all hotel team for taking care of me, for their kind attitude to the guests, for being ready to help in any case - and I am sorry for the late response, but I needed time for reflection. It is very important to make the right impression about the country you are visiting for the first time. And your attitude to me made it perfectly. Thanks to the recommendations of the hotel manager, I was able to visit the amazing observation points of the Lee River, watched Liusanjie show, and amazing rice terraces. It was also nice that I had dinner late evening in the hotel, because the atmosphere was so relaxing and the dishes I tasted were also delicious. It was a nice experience to eat local breakfast in spite of I could choose a European one, too. I highly recommend to visit Guilin and this particular place, if you prefer to stay in tranquility and be not far from interesting sights. We came to Guilin by train and we had a free pick-up from train station to the hotel. Xiaoming greeted us with fresh fruits and tea, we came an hour or so earlier but that was no problem. The room was spacious and beautiful with sitting area for drinking tea by the all glass wall/windows. Xiaoming is very helpful and kind person, he lets you have an e-scooter for free to go to the city, Reed flute cave or wherever you want. The Reed flute cave is 20 minutes walk from the hotel and the hotel is like a small village of accomodarion villas outside of the Guilin but close by car or e-scooter. The breakfast is very tasty with chinese and western style cuisine. They offer tours around Guilin like Li river cruise, Longji rice terraces tour or Yangshuo river rafting among others. We took two tours for each day and our guide/driver was Qin who is actually a great guy. He showed us around and was very patient with us especially when we went hiking on a Longji rice terraces. Guilin and surroundig area are the most beautiful we have seen in China so far. I will look forward to return to this place and experience again the hospitality of Xiaoming and hang around with our tour guide Qin.

The hotel is halfway up the mountain, right next to the Drum Tower, in fact, it is the Shangshan Ruoshui Hotel, we just started to walk. The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, suitable for holiday relaxation, the scenery on the mountain is very general, because there is no maintenance and operation, it feels a bit desolate, but there are not many people, belonging to the small attractions.

The room is very shabby, more than 20 years old hotel! The facilities are very poor! Fortunately, the environment is good, the mountains and rivers are beautiful!

Good price. Staff are lovely and helpful, they helped me find a bus to the longji rice terraces. The rooms are clean and very nice overall especially for the price and check in and out is quick and easy. On the higher floors there’s also a nice view of the river outside with large windows and views of the mountains in the distance. The bathroom and shower was separate which was nice and the shower was spacious. There’s also a washing machine free of charge to use and a balcony to hang to dry (even in winter the clothes dried overnight), and observation deck on the roof. My one complaint would be that the WiFi isn’t the best and the connection kept dropping.

Convenient location. Parking in his sister hotel, the location is convenient, the room is ordinary, can not be too picky, this price is in line with the price.

It's really a stroke of luck to book this homestay when visiting Guilin! Must give a five-star praise 🌟 The homestay is right next to the river, and the surrounding scenery is so beautiful that it leaves you speechless. In the morning, the sun shines on the river, making it sparkle like a beautiful landscape painting. In the evening, you can see a super romantic sunset. The bed was soft and comfortable, the bathroom was cleaned tidy, and the supplies were of good quality. The boss was very enthusiastic. He not only recommended many niche and fun places, but also helped plan the route. Next time I come here, I will definitely stay here again!

The room is clean and tidy, the mattress is comfortable, and the owner and his wife are friendly. They recommend Guilin tour routes and delicious restaurants nearby. The biggest feature of the restaurant is the humanistic care, green plants everywhere, and friendly and lovely animals. The boss told me that by September, the city will be filled with the fragrance of sweet-scented osmanthus, which should be a very happy feeling. I look forward to coming back to Guilin then and staying at this Jiukezhai
