Guilin Inns

Stayed there with my mom for our time in Guilin. The hotel is super well located and we could walk to all the sightseeing spots or take a bus if needed (but we only needed it once). The neighborhood is beautiful, and you can see multiple local families using the community areas to exercise, dance, do taichi, play cards or play with their children. There is also a delicious Baozi shop around the corner and multiple other restaurants. The people who work at the hotel were very friendly and gave us good advice. They also allowed us to do our laundry at the hotel with no cost.

I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel in Guilin and had an amazing experience. The place was very clean and organized, with a stunning decoration that combined old Chinese style with a modern twist. The staff were incredibly welcoming and could speak English, making my stay even more comfortable. The location was perfect, close to all the major tourist sites. The bed was very comfy, and the air conditioning worked great, which was a relief after a day of exploring. I will 100% be booking this hotel again the next time I come to Guilin. Highly recommended!

It's perfect hotel for someone who's seeking ease and comfort. This stay was just the relax we needed in our 20 day trip through China. The room was always clean, everything we needed was there; had a beautiful view. Kudos to the designers and architects of this hotel! The staff were super nice and helpful, were always there for us. Our Chinese was not good, we're talked in English. They helped us to arrange trip to Longji and Yangshuo river. After a long day, our room felt like a home. Thank you so much 💛

The hotel is set at the most gorgeous location, views of the mountains, many restaurants nearby. The host (Siau Ming) was super hospitable - he helped us with our bags to the room, had fresh iced Osmanthus sour plum tea for us at arrival and when we were back, he even packed some crossaint/biscuits for us to go. Breakfast was either bread with passion fruit jam & butter or guilin noodles (so good), served with mango and coffee. He was very attentive to our needs. The rooms are as gorgeous as depicted in their pictures. 5 star quality with a homely Chinoiserie design. Laundry was free - we just had to put our laundry in the basket in the morning and it would be ready in the evening. Appreciated in the 38C weather. The stay at Secret Courtyard made Guilin an enjoyable and memorable experience.

The hotel is halfway up the mountain, right next to the Drum Tower, in fact, it is the Shangshan Ruoshui Hotel, we just started to walk. The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, suitable for holiday relaxation, the scenery on the mountain is very general, because there is no maintenance and operation, it feels a bit desolate, but there are not many people, belonging to the small attractions.

It is a little far from several tourist spots in Guilin, so you need transportation when you move. The interior landscape is very good, and it seems to be good for those who find a quiet place with good scenery.

Good price. Staff are lovely and helpful, they helped me find a bus to the longji rice terraces. The rooms are clean and very nice overall especially for the price and check in and out is quick and easy. On the higher floors there’s also a nice view of the river outside with large windows and views of the mountains in the distance. The bathroom and shower was separate which was nice and the shower was spacious. There’s also a washing machine free of charge to use and a balcony to hang to dry (even in winter the clothes dried overnight), and observation deck on the roof. My one complaint would be that the WiFi isn’t the best and the connection kept dropping.

In recent years, every time I go to Guilin, I live in Qiwu. The rooms are very familiar. The hotel has two very user-friendly regulations. The first unconditional delay until 2 pm check-out (many hotels sell dog meat with sheep's head, say a set to do a set, delay until 2 o'clock is conditional), The second is to arrive in the morning and you can stay if you have a room (this is not possible for more than 90% of the hotels), and you will not think that the guests will take advantage of it. I hope the hotel can adhere to these two regulations and keep doing it. I wish business prosperity.

房間寬敞乾淨，本人是很容易住酒店過敏癢癢的類型，但是在這裏睡得很舒服，頂樓還能晾衣服。老闆人特別好，很熱情，會介紹路線和好吃的。酒店位置很好，離象鼻山等景點都很近，出門就能找到共享電動車。右手邊出去就是吃東西一條街。（以及小狗也很可愛，可擼）

Environment: The door of the B&B is very nice as soon as you enter it, similar to the pictures in other reviews. The location is not far from the Sun and Moon Twin Towers and the pedestrian street. Hygiene: The hygiene looks clean and there is no smell. Facilities: The air conditioner in the room we live in is above the head. When the air conditioner is turned on, water will leak and drip onto the head. After communicating with the boss, he immediately changed to the room next to him. The sound insulation is very poor. There are small yellow cars passing by outside the B&B all the time, and you can hear them very clearly in the room. The window faces a seller, and its door is very bright! Even with the lights off, I can clearly see the furnishings in the room. There are two bath towels in the room, but no face towel. Service: The boss has very good service and will tell you how to go and where to play. The air conditioner was leaking and was immediately resolved by changing rooms.
