"The hotel is so lovely. There is a Lawson just literally 1 min walk away and the surroundings have eateries to fill your tummies if you don't feel like venturing out. The location allows you to walk towards the Otaru Canal in less than 10 min. Very good location I would say. The room we got is of a decent size for two, is clean and we even have a nice City/ Seaview. Parking lot is just beside the hotel hence great for those who drives to Otaru."

"This B&B is fantastic, clean, upscale, and has everything you need. The host is Chinese and the communication was great. Since there weren't any other guests, we rented the entire room for our family, which felt like a little escape from Japan. The bus stop is right outside, making it a convenient option for those wanting a rural Japanese experience. It all depends on what you want. If you want a spacious vacation experience, this is the place to go. There's a dining room, kitchen, living room... For the same price, you'll get more convenient transportation at a hotel, but the smaller rooms in Japanese hotels are undeniable..."

"Clean and newly look hotel. Located just like next to the Otaru canal, and the main Street. Room condition is very new. Just the Onsens are a bite small, just have two hair dressing table.in each room. Breakfast is above average for business hotel standard."

"The room was quite spacious, so my kids didn't feel cramped at all, and I could even wheel the stroller right in for them to sleep. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were super convenient. Plus, there's a laundry room and a gym available. The breakfast was good; for a business hotel, it definitely exceeded expectations."

"We stayed for four nights, and the ski package we booked was a good deal. However, on the first day, the staff at the ski rental shop seemed a bit unfamiliar with the process, which caused us quite a bit of hassle. The hotel's advantages are very clear. We chose it specifically for the convenient ski access. Every day, after skiing, being able to enjoy the hot springs before the crowds arrived was incredibly pleasant, especially since it was snowing during our stay, which made for a unique experience. We had dinner at the restaurant a few times. Since we made same-day reservations, our choices were limited, and our dining times were somewhat restricted. Despite the limited selection, the dinner food was good and not expensive. The downsides were also quite noticeable. Firstly, the moment I opened the toilet lid upon check-in, I found a curly hair, which was a real turn-off. It might have been an issue with the specific room we were assigned (this room was inexplicably next to the garbage room); the layout was a bit strange, and there were no bedside tables, which was very inconvenient. I personally felt that the staff's service attitude was good, but my spouse mentioned that he used polite language when communicating with the front desk, and he was surprised that they did not reciprocate the same level of courtesy."

"Room: The room was spacious with a vintage decor. The twin beds in the double room were also quite large and very clean. We had a great view of the canal from the window. Location: It's about an 800-meter walk from JR Otaru Station, or a taxi ride costs around 800 yen. I'd recommend taking a taxi when it's snowing. The seaside is just 400 meters away. Facilities: You can pick up various samples on the first floor of the lobby. Breakfast: The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious! The sashimi was super fresh, the fried dishes were excellent, and they even had Hokkaido milk."

"This was the best hotel of our trip. From check-in to check-out, we felt the warmth and saw the smiles of the staff throughout. The included dinner was delicious and exquisite. The set breakfast was also pretty good. The hotel offers a variety of entertainment activities and facilities, so you won't get bored at all, and the environment is beautiful. The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't great; you can hear doors opening and closing from upstairs and next door."

"Do NOT choose this hotel for skiing!! Unless it's half the price during the same period, I'll never pick this place again. Prioritize other hotels with shuttle buses to Otaru Station. First, the location: This is Otaru-Chikko Station, two stops away from Otaru Station. The nearest convenience store is a 10-minute walk outside. Although there's a mall downstairs, its operating hours are 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, which is the only time you can use the indoor passage. Most restaurants close around 7 PM, so it's really inconvenient to find food after skiing. Second, it's really old! The carpet in my room type was dirty, the bed was rock hard, and the pillow felt like a worn-out cotton pillow – small and flat. The worst part is that after sleeping, my head developed small bumps and became very itchy!! I don't know if it was fleas, but it made me scratch my head for the next few days. The hygiene is truly concerning. This hotel has no coin-operated washing machines or laundry rooms, only individual dry cleaning, which is very expensive. This is super inconvenient for skiers staying for an extended period. frankly, the only good thing about this hotel is the room size; everything else is a huge letdown."

"All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good location, walkable distance to the tourist spots. The breakfast is excellent and served in a nice restaurants."
