The room is so big, nice and cozy. The owner is very kind and helpful. We haven’t stayed in Japanese Tatami Style before but this is so good. The location is quite far from the city center but if you have a car i would highly recommend you to book this room. But if you don’t have car you can travel by bus, the owner will send you how to come to the hotel in the chat and you can also ask everything him in chat as he response very fast.

I really enjoyed stay here. I got out of the Otaru JR station and the hotel is, across the road. Room was clean and functionable. I was on 9th floor and my window view was a big bonus. There is onsen but i missed it due to lack of time. Hotel is close to canal and shops and i have to mention the Triangle Market., where i had one of my best meal - grilled halibut. Check out my window view. This is a good base to explore the famous shops and eat good seafood.

The view is unbeatable. The location is not in the Otaru city area, about 500 meters above the aquarium, which requires uphill walking. There are buses and shuttle buses that need to be reserved in front of Otaru JR Station (3:05 pm). Dinner is French fusion, breakfast is a semi-buffet set, and there is a private hot spring with sea view in the room. It is cost-effective.

Cozy Inn is superb, can easily be reached by bus or by car. Plenty of parking spaces. Room is big and clean. Close to Aeon and Daiso. Walkable to the canal if you are not driving. Check in uses machine and strictly only after 3pm, so do not come early. Overall, I highly recommend!

The room was pretty good. I stayed here for two days. I went back to Otaru City one day, skied the other day, and took a hot spring bath at night. There is an izakaya called Xiliu nearby. The food is very good. I drank a little wine and took a hot spring bath every day before going to bed. It was very comfortable~ The ski resort is very good, not many people, the snow is very powdery, and all equipment can be bought/rented. Beginners can go there to play empty-handed.

Funamizaka, the canal and the observation deck under the blue sky and sun were really beautiful. The area where Jinyuan is located belongs to Temiya. The cherry blossoms in spring should be very beautiful. You need to take a car to go out to most places. There are not many buses in Otaru. They all run according to the schedule. If you are not in a hurry, it’s okay. Sometimes it’s also very comfortable to stroll slowly. Although the temperature in Otaru is not high in winter, the outdoor body does not feel cold, which is much more comfortable than Beijing. I brought ”Love Letter” with me to watch this time, in commemoration of Miho on the 30th anniversary of the movie. I read a little bit every day, and in a week, I finished reading it just before leaving Otaru. The plan for this trip is to read books and watch Otaru in the movie. The room I booked, 203, is the largest room in Jinyuan. It is on the second floor. It is very warm and quiet. The only inconvenience is that the stairs are very narrow. If you take too heavy luggage up and down the stairs, it will be troublesome. I didn't bring big luggage, so there is no such difficulty. Remind other friends to pay attention. There is a big supermarket near Jinyuan, which is very convenient to buy food. The kitchen on the first floor can cook. Although I am a lazy person who buys simple food and doesn't need to cook, I can also supplement vegetables if I want to. Otherwise, the staple food and meat in the restaurant outside are enough, but there are still not enough vegetables and fruits. The owner is a sister from Northeast China. She is very nice. She doesn't live here usually. If there is any problem, communicate in advance. She is very serious and responsible. I saw some good and some bad comments in the comments. How should I put it? You should still choose accommodation according to your own preferences. The hotels near the canal are very convenient for transportation, but the rooms are very small, especially the bathrooms. There are all kinds of tourists everywhere, which is annoying and noisy. Jinyuan is quiet and comfortable. It is a residential area in Japan, which is very suitable for a slow life of leisure and vacation. I personally like it and will continue to choose it next time I go to Otaru, because Otaru is a place suitable for a quiet and slow-paced life. Those who pursue food, drink and shopping can choose Tokyo or Osaka. The most important thing is to know your own requirements.
