"Everything else is good, the service is super poor! Nothing wrong, it is super bad! ! The front desk clerk did not smile, went to the check-in face like a dead fish, and was good at lying. Obviously, I booked a business bed. I deliberately said that there was no room to upgrade the room type. The result gave me a cheaper one. Fortunately, I have lived a few times before and can distinguish it. I immediately went downstairs to find the front desk, and then my original room type was again, it was really disgusting! ! ! Just this service, the room is comfortable and I don't want to come."

"Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the service absolutely deserves a five-star rating. The front desk staff were polite and thoughtful, and service requests were promptly attended to. Since there were three of us staying, they generously provided an extra breakfast. The breakfast was excellent, offering a rich variety of options compared to other hotels of a similar standard. Even for someone like me who is a picky eater, there was plenty to choose from, and I felt completely satisfied. The restaurant staff were also very courteous and provided attentive service in a timely manner. I was even pleasantly surprised to find that the bathroom faucets were Hansgrohe. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.
If I had to mention any minor drawbacks, the hotel's shower caps were too small to fit my head – I hope they can improve their selection of amenities in the future. The room lighting was a bit dim, the telephone was out of order, and the bathroom lacked a rain shower. However, none of these issues significantly impacted my overall experience."

The hotel service was truly exceptional; staff personally delivered our luggage to the room, and any issues were addressed promptly and professionally. We found the hotel manager to be incredibly welcoming and hospitable. 👍👍 A pleasant surprise was discovering that Yan Pai Dang, located downstairs, is part of the renowned Ninghai Shifu group, and Zhang Fu Ji, where breakfast is served, also operates under the same excellent culinary umbrella. The food offerings were truly outstanding. Our stay at Ascott on the final day truly made our family trip to Ningbo exceptionally enjoyable."

"Great hotel, the beds are extremely comfortable. The staff is really lovely. The breakfast was varied and quite tasty though very much Chinese, so not for every foreign traveler.
The rooms are spacious and the shower is very good as well.
The location is OK, some restaurants around, but the metro is a little far. Really depends on why you are in Ningbo. For us, it was convenient but I wouldn't stay here for tourism."

"The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and their breakfast is savoury. The hotel is located within minutes from the nearest metro station, making it fast and easy to reach the city centre.
The only downside of my trip was the presence of students on a field trip. They were extremely noisy and loud and kept running up and down the corridors, knocking at doors randomly."

Hotel just outside Exit A just beside ATOUR Hotel, surrounded by restaurants and very near underground shopping area and Drum Tower shopping street.

The location is so convenient, I walk to Tianyi Square and Bill Tower, also Old Bund cross river… all hotel staff are so friendly and eager to help whatever you require ! I am highly recommend this hotel if you visit Ningbo city ! Also city has amazing food

GGuest UserLocated in a village near Cicheng, it is about half an hour's drive from downtown Ningbo and about two hours from Shanghai. It is a quiet and convenient location.
The housekeeper will contact in advance to confirm the dinner and bathing time. The special bathing pool is by appointment, which is basically a private bath experience. It is very comfortable.
The restaurant tastes good, the stir-fried asparagus is very tender, and a bowl of glutinous rice balls was given when checking in during the Lantern Festival, which is very considerate.
It is very comfortable to stroll around the bamboo forest pond in the village in the morning. The rape flowers are about to bloom recently, and it is a good place for leisure and vacation.

TTpderrickHotel service quality is the best for our China trip. Hotel is relatively close to 天一广场（around 5mins) where musical fountain show being performed around 8.30pm (after dinner)。 Front desk staff are very helpful and special praises to 九月 and Cici. 九月 recommended 阿毛饭店 that serves delicious Ningbo cruisines and join their gold card membership for only Rmb39 which includes 6 breakfast vouchers per year. Besides popcorn, they also serve dessert supper to our room even past their room service hours (7.30pm to 9pm). On site laundry service collection & delivery can also be arranged. Front service, Cici, also helped to carry our luggages to board didi car before departing to Ningbo station. Many thanks!

AArthurI would have given a 5-star review for Pan Pacific Ningbo had it not been for allowing guests and even hotel staff to smoke in the hotel! I give 1-star for cleanliness because allowing guests and staff to smoke in a hotel lobby and rooms is simply disgusting! There's nothing clean about it! It's such a waste because Pan Pacific Ningbo has such great facilities and luxurious interior; I even made a video of the hotel and will be posting it on my newly created YouTube channel. I may return again when the Chinese government has banned smoking in hotels and taken a more serious attitude against smoking and enforced the laws against smoking in hotels and restaurants.
Having brought up the bad thing about Pan Pacific Ningbo, I would like to highly commend the following staff for their exemplary services:
1. Cady of the reception
Cady was the same receptionist who checked us in during our two separate stays, on our way to Zhoushan and back from Zhoushan. She was very courteous and friendly. She offered to add me on her WeChat so that I could contact her if I needed anything. True enough, I needed to contact her within a few hours after we checked-in during our second stay. Smoke filled our room. When I found out that it came from the room next to ours, I immediately informed Cady, who immediately arranged for someone to spray air freshener in the corridor. She offered air filter, which I declined as we were already going out. As we walked down the lobby, I realized that Cady had actually left, and she was arranging all those even though she was already off duty! It was also Cady who informed me that GHA Discovery members would get dining discount by giving me a brochure.
2. Cora (陈丽)
Cora was the wait staff attending our table at Madr 99. When I found out that I had run out of mobile data plan, I asked Cora for the passcode to logon to the hotel Wifi. Strangely, there's no option to logon with hotel room number. There were only 2 ways to logon to the hotel wifi: using a passcode and mobile number. Cora kindly offered to use her mobile number to help me logon. She didn't even ask me to use my own mobile number. It was very kind of her to do that. Upon paying the bill, I presented Cora with my GHA Discovery membership card. Cora provided me with 10% discount for silver member, exactly as stated in the brochure that Cady gave me. When we headed back to the serviced suites, another male wait staff chased us and rudely told me that GHA Discovery silver member was not entitled to any dining discount at all. He demanded me to go with him to the cashier to sign a new invoice. I later contacted Cady and asked her to verify with her manager the terms and conditions of dining discount for GHA Discovery member, before we went to Hai Tien Lo to dine in the evening. Cady, who was already at home and off duty, gladly obliged to my request, and confirmed that dining discount was applicable to even silver members. Perhaps hotel management could ask Cora to train the guy properly before allowing him to interact with guests directly! Otherwise, one day he might get punched by guests who are irritated by his behavior.
3. Cavan
Cavan was the porter/concierge who helped us deliver our luggage to our room. He, too, was friendly and polite like Cady and Cora. He even walked us to Madr 99 and showed us where all the hotel restaurants were located. The way he treated us was like VVIP.
The hotel management should treasure and try to retain these 3 excellent staff. Have these 3 experienced staff to train their junior colleagues.

GGuest UserThis hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas.
1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes.
2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale
3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days .
4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced .
5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby.
6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use .
7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes .
8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees.
9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion!
10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking .
For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those .
The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

The background of the hotel front desk is the Three Character Classic, which is quite unique. Ningbo University is right outside the door, which is very convenient. GGuest UserThis hotel is incredibly close to the high-speed train station, with direct access via an underground passage, which is extremely convenient. The service at the hotel was also excellent, and it's very easy to get around to other nearby areas. The most thoughtful gesture was that before we checked out, the front desk staff thoughtfully prepared rose tea and coffee for us. They even carefully packed them so we could take them on our high-speed train and enjoy them during our journey.

EErnst NZThis is an interesting place as it’s old, contemporary style of an area past, dim lights everywhere, traditional wooden panels alongside huge heigh ceilings. It brings back a time of glamour, reminded me of the Titanic in its former glory. Yet the rooms are crammed, I hit my foot twice on the floor bed corner. The staff are friendly and helpful, english is spoken at reception. Would i stay here again? Probably not, as the darkness of the room, ( windows do open slightly) felt depressing. Great location: The hotel is near the bus station and it is very convenient to travel. There are many restaurants and convenience stores around, and eating and shopping are very worry-free. Warm and thoughtful service: The front desk staff smiled and checked in quickly. Seeing that we were carrying luggage, the security guard also took the initiative to help, very warm. The room was clean and tidy: The room was small and the layout was very warm. The bedding was clean and soft, and it was very comfortable to sleep. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, hot water comes quickly, and the water volume is sufficient.
