Breakfast was good. Although the meat selection was quite simple, there was a good variety of pastries, and they also offered unlimited fresh coconuts. "Originally we booked to stay for 3 nights but because our experience was so poor we decided to leave a day early. Firstly the smell is horrendous. Throughout the resort it smells like sewage and even in the bathrooms (we had 2 rooms). The beds are VERY hard. We are use to firm mattresses but it really wasn’t much softer than the floor. When you arrive there is no information in the room to start off your stay in a positive way. All there is, is a list of the cost of items should you decide to steal something. Not at all welcoming. The air con didn’t work very well and at times the rooms were boiling hot. They had sinks that are free standing with no space to put your toiletries. My daughter had 2 glasses fall on her from a ridiculously high shelf in there. She cut her foot and we alerted the front desk immediately so that they could clean up the glass. As we were checking out they actually charged us for the glasses! Absolutely unbelievable considering that we vacated the room a day early because of how unhappy we were there and they changed us for an accident caused by their inability to realise that a very high shelf with glasses on, that you can’t see, was a stupid idea! Before we booked I read the bad reviews but I decided to ignore them and decide myself as the location was good for exploring Railay. There is a reason that the reviews are so bad and it doesn’t make sense to ignore so many people’s bad experiences. I won’t make the same mistake again."
