Great
AAzraxEverything was great, very European, with tea, coffee, starched sheets, and a spring mattress. Unfortunately, there's no elevator. There's a cafe on the very top floor. Taking a stroll along the embankment was really enjoyable. We only stayed for one night.

GGuest UserWas given the beachfront unit next to the resort’s restaurant and just in front of the dining area.
1) IMPORTANT
- I had booked the room under Palm Resort Krabi. However the driver and myself could not locate the resort as there was no signage! I realised later that Palm Resort was also Bliss Resort as they both shared the same address. It seems that the beachfront units are booked under Palm Resort, while the non-beachfront units are booked under Bliss Resort.
2) WHAT’S GOOD
- Room is clean.
- The bed is big and comfortable. There’s also a day sofa which is good for sleeping.
- The bathroom has an attached dressing room.
- Useful amenities such as a safe, fridge, hairdryer, beach bag for a day out, mineral water, drink sachets, toiletries, plenty of power points.
- Spacious verandah with lounge chairs. Great for lounging and enjoying the night.
- I also enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves as I laid in bed at night as the seawater is just a few metres away when it’s high tide.
- Many restaurants and convenience stores around the area!
3) NOT SO GOOD
- The dining area is just in front of the unit so you can might hear some muffled conversations and music. But it wasn’t too bad.
- There are gaps around the wooden framed glass doors and a few mosquitoes can get in. Come prepared with a repellent plug-in for the room. The resort staff will also provide a spray if you ask.
- The bed is directly opposite the doors, so you have to keep the curtains drawn fully.

GGuest UserThe hotel was nice the room very big with a small nice balcony. Everything there wt is needed. In the main floor is a a very nice cafe. The location is good not to far to major spots in krabi town. But the service was difficult. The people don't speak english and via Google translate they still didnt understand wht I wanted.

WWanderingIrEhSThe location was central at Ao Nang town centre area. But taxi drivers would usually get confused as there’s another place called J mansion which is different from J hotel. It’s a small place but decent to sleep or stay at for a few days in Ao Nang. The place is somehow clean but still needs improvement.
The pro though was they have upgraded our room to a king bed. It was somehow comfortable & clean, the room was also spacious enough. So grateful for that.
Downside was there’s no view from the room & no elevators, only stairs & there were no male staff to help us lift our luggage to the room. They were also strict with the check-out time. Staff need to smile more and be more friendlier to tourists though.
Good thing there’s a laundry service for a fee. And hotel is too close to the shops and restaurants, tours, etc., only walking distance. Hotel also offers their own tours but we book our tours already elsewhere for a good discount.
Overall, if you’re on a budget, I think this place is somehow okay to stay with for a few days in Ao Nang.

JJazzC_XOThis was a really cute bungalow on the beach, which added to our experience of staying on Phi Phi. However, the bed was rock hard and the air con kept switching itself off in the night so we kept waking up sweating! The light from it was also really bright so I had to wear an eye mask to sleep. You can also hear the whole island from your hut, and a lot of the Thai residents were working at night nearby, so it was very noisy and required ear plugs! There were lots of little bugs in the woodwork mainly, the shower wasn’t great and got the bathroom very wet. Also, any trips or taxi boats were quite expensive from the woman at reception, we managed to get a 4hr private long tail for 2300baht total. A lot of these things were to be expected, and isn’t too much of a complaint against the resort itself, but something for you to bear in mind when choosing to stay here.

GGuest UserGreat for budget travellers
A little set back from main strip...about 20 min walk to start of chaos 😂 I didn't mind the distance but not ideal for mobility problems, always tuk tuks and taxis to hand though
Hotel bedrooms big but basic...TV did not work but I had netflix on phone
Problems with ants in my room, corner area only and not near bed or furniture but they kept themselves to themselves....dont forget its their home and we are invading their space.....I left them alone and they didn't bother me
Overall it's a nice place for a budget traveller....you get what you pay for 😁

GGuest UserIt was a nice little hotel and the value was good. The bed was very Asian and a bit hard for me, as a westerner. My Asian girlfriend liked it.

GGuest UserI had a private room, it was spacious, and fairly clean. My room had wooden window blinds but no windows and they didn't seal properly either so mosquitoes and outside noise got inside.
I couldn't rest there properly, because the Aircon was very noisy and I could always hear music or people chatting outside. If I stopped the Aircon the mosquitoes came out or it was too hot.
The bathroom was convenient and the showers had hot water.
I thought the location was good, there's a nice food market right outside and it's easy to walk to the beach.
It was also very cheap so I feel like I had a decent deal despite the downsides.
If you're a party traveler it's a good place. If you need a quiet sleep this is not the right place, but then again the name ”Slumber Party” kinda gives that away, I should have known better.
There's also really cute cats outside which for me was a plus.

AAnonymous UserIt's okay, close to the center, lots of greenery and cats on the grounds. Overall, it's a very cozy location. One downside: there wasn't any cleaning service for three days, which is okay, but the toilet paper tends to run out. There's also no mirror, only by the sink.

Aaunt anneTitle: A Pleasant Stay at Aonang Village Resort, Krabi
My recent stay at Aonang Village Resort in Krabi, Thailand, was overall satisfactory. The hotel boasts a convenient location in the heart of Aonang, making it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities.
The room provided was clean and adequately furnished, although it lacked some modern touches that I've come to expect from hotels in this price range. However, it was spacious enough and provided a comfortable environment for rest and relaxation.
The hotel's facilities, including the pool area and on-site restaurant, were decent. While not particularly luxurious, they served their purpose adequately. The pool was clean and refreshing, . The restaurant offered a decent selection of dishes, though the quality was somewhat inconsistent.
The staff at Aonang Village Hotel were friendly and helpful, albeit not overly attentive. While they were always polite and willing to assist with any inquiries, I didn't experience the level of personalized service that I've encountered at other hotels.
In terms of value for money, Aonang Village Hotel offers a reasonable option for accommodation in Krabi. While it may not be the most luxurious or extravagant choice, it provides a comfortable stay at a relatively affordable price point.
Overall, my experience at Aonang Village Hotel was positive. While it may not have been a standout or exceptional stay, it provided a pleasant base for exploring the beautiful region of Krabi. If you're looking for a no-frills accommodation option with a convenient location, Aonang Village Hotel could be worth considering.
