Outrigger Phi Phi Island Resort

9.5/10
Amazing

It is definitely a good place to stay for five or six days! I feel that it is the most charming residence on Phi Phi Island, with a seaside cabin, close to nature, walking barefoot on the soft and white beach every day, blowing the sea breeze, and directly entering the relaxation and vacation mode. And the hotel is very quiet. In the morning, you can hear the birds singing and slowly get up, and then have a perfect breakfast. In the afternoon, you can take a nap in your room semi-outdoors and sit in a daze. Occasionally, a small family of three monkeys will visit your room, take some fruit and run away. The hotel's dining is the most upscale choice on this island. The cocktails are first-class, and the lamb chops are great! The spa is also lovely. The service level of the entire hotel is first-class and enthusiastic. Several employees, such as Ms. Ping, speak Chinese very well👍, and the general manager Mr. Becker can also speak some Chinese! In short, it is a perfect resort on Phi Phi Island.

A Perfect Birthday Stay at Pakasai Resort! I stayed at Pakasai Resort in Ao Nang, Krabi for 2 nights (June 22–24) and couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience—especially for my birthday! I originally only hoped for a room upgrade, but the resort went far beyond my expectations and made my celebration truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the surprises didn’t stop there. On my birthday, I was greeted with a beautiful birthday cake, a thoughtful message arranged on the bed, and genuinely heartfelt service throughout the day. I also booked dinner at GAIA, the resort’s own restaurant, and was treated to a free cocktail to celebrate. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent—it was the perfect birthday dinner. The resort itself is cozy and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery that makes you feel close to nature. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, and the entire resort has a calm, welcoming vibe. Overall, I felt truly taken care of during my stay. I highly recommend Pakasai Resort to anyone visiting Ao Nang, especially if you're looking for a place that combines comfort, nature, and genuinely caring service. I’m already thinking about coming back!

Ananta Burin Resort

Ananta Burin Resort is genuinely an excellent choice, especially for families with children. Its main highlight is the 'Fantasy World' pool with its large water slides, making it one of the best-reputed family-friendly hotels in Krabi. Here are some key points for a quick overview: * **Top-notch Family Facilities:** The star attraction is the 'Fantasy World' pool area, featuring 5-meter and 8-meter slides, an artificial waterfall, and a lazy river, ensuring kids have a blast. There's also a 'Quiet Zone' pool for adults looking to relax. * **Location & Accessibility:** The location is very convenient. It's about a 5-minute walk to Nopparat Thara Beach and only 10-15 minutes to Ao Nang Night Market. Restaurants and convenience stores are right outside the hotel. * **Room Types & Dining:** Family rooms are spacious, and some even have direct pool access. Breakfast offers a wide variety (including ice cream for kids), but reviews are mixed; it can get crowded during peak times, and the coffee and juice are just average. * **Service & Hygiene:** Staff are generally friendly and professional, but some guests have reported that certain facilities (like restrooms) aren't maintained or cleaned adequately, and occasionally there are small ants in the rooms. Overall, if your top priority is 'keeping the kids entertained,' this is a fantastic option. However, if you're looking for a romantic getaway or the absolute best value for money, some guests have suggested that there might be more comfortable or private options in Krabi at a similar price point. Are you planning a trip with kids, or are you looking for a hotel close to the night market? Tell me your specific needs, and I can help you determine if this hotel is truly the right fit for you~

Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf and Spa Resort

8.9/10
Very Good

We recently stayed at Sofitel Krabi and had a mixed experience. What we liked: the pool area was pleasant and relaxing, the breakfast buffet offered a good variety, and the location is quite convenient. The General Manager was polite, and the room cleaning was generally thorough. What we didn’t like: the rooms felt old and in need of renovation, with amenities of fairly low quality. The staff could be rigid at times, and accessing the beach requires crossing a busy road. Despite being officially prohibited, smoking was allowed in some common areas. Additionally, all services come at an extra cost—even those that are often included in other hotels, such as certain sports activities or pool equipment—and prices are very high, often two to three times more than what can be found just outside the hotel. Overall, the property has potential and some nice features, but certain aspects left us disappointed given the price point.

Grand Mercure Krabi Ao Nang Beach Resort is an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and easy access to local culture. The resort is strategically located in the heart of a Muslim-friendly community, making it particularly convenient for Muslim visitors. Numerous halal restaurants and local eateries are within walking distance, offering a wide variety of authentic Thai-Muslim cuisine. Adding to the convenience, a mosque is located nearby, allowing Muslim guests easy access for daily prayers throughout their stay. For exploring Ao Nang and the surrounding areas, local transportation such as tuk-tuks is readily available. Fares are generally affordable, ranging from approximately THB100 to THB200 depending on the destination. Beyond its comfortable accommodation and excellent location, staying at Grand Mercure Krabi Ao Nang Beach also provides an opportunity to support the local tourism industry and community businesses. Visitors can enjoy genuine Thai hospitality while contributing to the livelihoods of local residents, restaurants, transport operators, and small businesses. Whether you are visiting Krabi for leisure, photography, family holidays, or cultural exploration, Grand Mercure Krabi Ao Nang Beach offers a convenient and welcoming base for an enjoyable stay.

Golden Beach Resort

It took about 40 minutes and 390 baht to get to the hotel from the airport using a Bolt ride-hailing service. The hotel room was very spacious, with enough room for two double beds. The air conditioning and water pressure were good. The pool wasn't small, and the water was deep enough for adults. Breakfast offered a variety of Chinese, Thai, and Western options, with slight changes daily. The hotel is conveniently located about 50 meters from the beach, making access very easy. It's also just a 2-minute walk to the main street, offering a quiet yet very convenient location.Areas for improvement: The remote-controlled lighting was a bit inconvenient, there were small insects in the room, and the pool closed too early at 6 PM.

Phi Phi Long Beach Resort & Villa

8.3/10
Very Good

I had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal. I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable. Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common. The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand. The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon. The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets. Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

Really beautiful place right on the beach. Several pools. Nice restaurant and amazing breakfast buffet, even for me as a vegan. Our room was nothing special so we spent most of the time at the pool. Many chairs to lie on in the shade. A bit over priced for the Chinese new year holiday. But we really enjoyed it and the staff was very friendly and moved us to a new room after we complained about noisy neighbors. Check-out time is 11am which is a bit early to be honest. But you can still relax by the pool and facilities after checkout.

This hotel stay was very nice. The pool view is stunning The hotel owner is very helpful and friendly. She even upgraded our room without extra cost . She even organised someone to pick us up and carry our bags from the pear and from hotel to pear at check-in and check out . She even keeps our bags in a place near to pear for us to pick up in the afternoon for our ferry trip. Staff is very friendly too. We really enjoyed our two days stay and definitely recommend this hotel stay Will come back again with my family See view villa was the one we stayed it was the best

This hotel is amazing! It used to be a temple so it has a fantastic Thai architecture. The room and bathroom were really big and spacious. The staff was friendly and the housekeeping is daily and dedicated. The aircon worked well, the bed was comfortable and there's plenty of furniture in the rooms. The swimming pool is big and in good condition. The hotel is right in front of the beach but not in the central Ao Nang area. The wifi was very weak during the whole stay.
