This hotel is super convenient, just a short walk from Oshiage Station A1 exit. Even though there's no restaurant, you can grab free bread and drinks in the lobby anytime. The warmed-up bread is actually really good, better than a lot of bakeries in Shanghai! You can also head up to the rooftop garden to relax and get a view of the Tokyo Skytree.

As for cleanliness, the room was quite clean, though the bathroom had a slight, unidentifiable odor – it strangely reminded me of an airplane cabin. 😓

My stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic, a definite five-star experience! 

What surprised me most was how incredibly clean the room was – a total win for someone as particular about cleanliness as I am. There was no odd smell when I walked in, and I could walk barefoot on the floor without getting dusty. The bedding was perfectly neat and clean, with a faint, fresh, disinfected scent. The bathroom was spotless; not a single water mark on the mirror or countertop, and even easy-to-miss details like corners and shelf crevices were perfectly clean. It made for a truly reassuring stay.

The service was excellent throughout. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the staff were genuinely kind and patient, answering all my travel questions and even proactively offering tips for local sightseeing. Any requests were handled promptly and without any sense of being rushed or dismissed.

A huge bonus was the super charming cafe right downstairs. I could grab freshly brewed coffee and a light meal just by heading down in the morning, saving me the hassle of finding somewhere else. It was also incredibly convenient if I needed a quick spot to sit and get some work done. It added so much happiness to my entire trip. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The front desk service was excellent, and we were able to store our luggage before check-in. The hotel is located right above the Rinkai Line, making transportation very convenient. There's also a direct bus to Haneda Airport right downstairs. You can take the subway to the airport as well, but it requires about a 15-minute walk to transfer. The hotel is next to Aeon Department Store and Matsumoto Kiyoshi, which is great for shopping. The breakfast area has limited seating, but the window seats offer a nice ocean view. The breakfast itself is mostly Western-style. Note that there's no complimentary drinking water in the rooms.

The facilities are complete, the hygiene is clean and comfortable, the environment is very pleasant, the service is excellent and attentive, and the transportation is convenient. The price is also reasonable, making it very suitable for business trips.

Booked 4 nights stay here. The overall experience is good, the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is extremely good (for me) as it's only a 5-6 mins walk from the Keikyu-Kamata station. There is a 7-Eleven convenience store, Chinese cuisine restaurant and a pharmacy nearby. There is also a Shōtengai (Shopping/commercial street) nearby, which is around 5-6 mins walk from the hotel. They provided hair shampoo, hair conditioner and body shampoo, you have to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and other toiletries. There is an onsite washing machine and dryer (you need to dry for a longer time if your clothes are thick) that use coins, luckily we manage to change some coins using the machine at the counter with the help from the staff. If there's one downside to this hotel, it's that the double room is a bit small, but considering the price and the location, it's still good value for money.

It felt a little far from the station. Since it's an older hotel, there were no power outlets by the bed. However, the cleanliness was excellent, and the breakfast was substantial, so I was satisfied.

This hotel in Kyoto truly exceeded my expectations — it feels like a higher-class hotel than its price, especially during cherry blossom season.

1. What I loved:

* The breakfast is probably the best I’ve had in 11 years of traveling around Japan — a wide selection of refined and unexpected dishes for this price range
* A rare find in Japan: a room for three adults with three separate beds
* Great location: about 10–12 minutes by foot from Kyoto Station
* Just 5 minutes away, there’s a bus stop with routes to different parts of Kyoto
* Quiet, cozy neighborhood — a nice escape from the usually crowded tourist areas
* Very friendly and helpful reception staff
* Convenient luggage forwarding service to other cities

2. Overall feeling:
An excellent value-for-money hotel with a peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it.

3. Downsides:

* Very few places to eat nearby (only 1–2 options)
* During our stay, one restaurant was closed for the weekend, leaving almost no choice except a small skewers place
* However, near Kyoto Station (10 minutes walk) there are many underground cafés and restaurants
* Breakfast last enter time is 9/9:15

The hotel's location is very convenient, and I was drawn in by the courtyard garden. However, the garden view was quite small, and the room's soundproofing wasn't great. The public pool was also a bit small, and breakfast wasn't very tasty. But overall, the service was quite good.

The location is pretty good, very close to Kyoto Station. The hotel is clean and well-equipped. The only downside is that the two beds are pushed together.

After booking on Trip.com, I still had to pay a tax upon arrival. I thought it was a deposit, and when checking out, I stupidly went to the front desk to ask for it back. The staff member looked totally bewildered 😳

If you want your room cleaned, you absolutely have to hang the sign outside your door. This is different from China, where cleaning is usually assumed.

This is the second time that I’ve booked here because the last time I came everything was satisfactory. The room was really wide compared to other hotels that I’ve been to in Japan. Not just that, the onsen was clean as always and had yuzu inside this time but maybe it’s because it was winter but I couldn’t see it the next day so that was abit sad. The service was great!! You can check out and still ask them to hold the bag. The only downside I could say was that the walls were slightly stained ?? I think it’s due to the luggage being moved around by other individuals. It’s not too the point that it would bother anyone. But it did catch my eye abit.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right in the heart of Kyoto. There's a 24-hour convenience store nearby, and it's only a two-minute walk from the subway exit. Plus, on the first floor, they offer complimentary 24-hour bread and drinks.

We chose the twin corner room, and the size was perfect. We could easily spread out a 20-inch and a 24-inch suitcase without any hassle. The wet and dry areas were separate, and you could close off the living room and bathroom with a door, which made it feel like a suite. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Kyoto.

The only minor complaint is that when we arrived at the front desk around 2 PM, the staff insisted we couldn't check in until after 3 PM. It felt a bit inflexible.

The first time I stayed in a pet-themed hotel, I was worried about hygiene issues such as hair at first, but I stayed for two days and the hygiene was very clean. I didn’t see the worrying things. The room was separated from wet and dry. This was very happy. The room was one bedroom and one living room. The space is oversized. The bedding is also very comfortable to sleep barrier-free, all aspects are very clean and tidy, the surrounding facilities are also very complete, subway, bus, very close

I don’t mind the small space since I’m travelling alone, but the moment I entered the room, an irritating and unknown smell greeted me. I don’t know where it is coming from but the smell lasts until the day of my checkout. There’s also a few small strands of hair on the walls and floors of the comfort room. Some of the amenities, which are body soap and shampoo, smelled old. For some items, like the microwave, are only available in some floors and it’s kind of hassle on my part. But the staffs seemed friendly, and the receptionist knows how to speak english.

Very close to Sakae Station and the Bus Terminal, but if you have a heavy carrier, the walk may be lengthened to an extra block due to a lack of elevators on the nearer side to the hotel.
Interesting style of a sliding door between the bedroom and hall/powder room area. 
No tub, only shower booth with shower gel/shampoo/conditioner.
Free coffee daily from 7am to midnight, with breakfast cereal in the morning, and some tea bags.
Downside for smokers is, no smoking area in the vacinity. One can smoke at the 7/11 couple of blocks away. One can get a portable ash tray and smoke outside the hotel building. 
There seems to be bike rental service available, which I never got to.

One of our favorite hotels in Japan!! Great location, free coffee/ drinks when check in. Walking distance to Nagoya castle. If I ever go to Nagoya again would totally stay there again

Hotel is quite new, not far from subway.  However, room is a bit small and space to place luggage and hanging jacket / clothes not enough.  Hygiene is good and self serve ice cream

The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was well-maintained with a proper separation between the shower and dry areas. Everything felt clean and comfortable. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more pleasant.

In terms of location, it’s very convenient. There is a Lawson right across the street, and a 7-Eleven about a five-minute walk away. The hotel is also around an eight-minute walk from Fushimi Station (Exit 10) on the Higashiyama Line, making it easy to get around the city.
