Unfortunately, two full days of our stay were declared typhoon holidays, so we couldn’t go out to explore the city. Thankfully, the hotel has a cozy lounge on the 5th floor that offers complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea from 1:00 p.m. until midnight. It was a wonderful place to relax and unwind instead of staying in our room all day. We also really enjoyed the daily breakfast, which offered a delicious variety of food and was consistently excellent.

Take the Exit X5 elevator to reach the hotel.

The room and beddings are very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast ends at 9:30 which is too early. The food items are extremely limited. They have mixed veggies for salad, small chicken wings, pork (small piece), cooked veggies, boiled eggs, small plain buns, rice, porridge, and soup. 

For the facilities, it says they have laundry. But they only have 1 washer and 1 dryer which are outside the hotel building, on the back, in a covered area. I wanted to use the laundry but was told that the laundry facilities were not operational until 1 July. 

The bathroom is nice. But there is no bar or racks installed near the bathtub. You don’t have anywhere to put your dry clothes. It’s quite inconvenient and even dangerous for a senior to get into the bathtub without a bar for holding. But the toilet bowl is nicely equipped with auto-cleaning and flushing.

Pretty decent hotel with a unique shape. Round building so the room is kind of round too. Can see that the furniture has to be custom made to fit the shape of the room. Room boost 101 view though it is a distance away. Can also soak in the tub and get 101 view too. Quite a few complimentary snacks in the room so happy with that. Being in the university, hotel is academic themed which is a nice touch. Love the decor of the Italian restaurant which also serves as the breakfast venue. Food was pretty good as well. All in, a nice stay in a hotel that is located just across from the night market and mrt station.

1. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from Kaohsiung Main Station. It's also a 5-minute walk to Exit 10 of Formosa Boulevard Station, though this exit doesn't have an elevator, so it's not recommended if you have large luggage.

2. The hotel provides a variety of snacks and drinks, all available for free.

3. I originally booked a queen room, but the hotel upgraded me to a room with two queen beds free of charge, which I appreciate.

4. The self-service laundry room is on the 3rd floor and requires a 10 NTD coin.

5. I arrived at the hotel at 1 PM on a rainy afternoon and was informed that check-in was at 3 PM. Oh well, I left my luggage and headed out with an umbrella to find something to eat.

6. The bathroom's wet and dry separation design is excellent. However, the shower door isn't sealed, so water tends to leak out.

Quite close to the central part of Kao Hsiung. We booked the hotel after 00:00 using Trip's same day hotel search function and it's one of the cheaper ones.

Great location! You can easily walk out and explore the main street. The room was clean, and the private hot spring tub was hot enough. The only downside is that the double room felt a bit cramped, very much like a typical Japanese-sized room. The staff were friendly and welcoming! They also have a cute outdoor hot spring area and playground for kids, and you can even request a suitable pillow, which is pretty cool. Overall, it was surprisingly good! The kind of place I'd want to come back and stay at again~~
