This is a well-established hotel. Aside from the rooms being a bit small, all the other facilities are complete and don't show any signs of age. The hotel's location is excellent, just across the street from West Lake, making it very convenient to get there. The viewing platform offers direct views of West Lake, and watching the sunset from there is beautiful. There's also plenty of commercial activity nearby; it's just a few minutes to Wulin Night Market, and it's very convenient to get to Hangzhou Kerry Centre and Intime in77. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, as well as public bicycles and shared e-bike stations.

Came back to Yaguquan Resort for a few days. Besides the West Lake area, Yaguquan is a major reason I visit Hangzhou. The scenery is beautiful, it's close to West Lake but still peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle. Even just relaxing and soaking up the sun at the hotel is wonderful. It's also super convenient to get to all the tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and every staff member made us feel right at home. A big thanks to Manager Shi Ji and all the front desk staff for their warm welcome when we arrived, and to Xiao Zeng for seeing us off. Special thanks to the concierge for helping with our luggage in the cold weather and for baking sweet potatoes for the kids. The breakfast spread is rich, and they offer various wellness teas daily, along with sugarcane juice and pear juice that the kids loved. The complimentary travel photoshoot was a nice touch, and the photographer, shī ge (a respectful way to address a male professional), had excellent photography skills.

Zhejiang Hotel boasts a prime location right within the West Lake scenic area. If you're driving, make sure to call ahead and inquire about any traffic restrictions before booking. You can walk out the back of the hotel directly onto the lakeside greenery. It's about a 20-minute stroll to the Fish Viewing at Flower Pond pier, and the scenery along the way is absolutely stunning. I feel like it offers even better value for money than hotels right on the edge of West Lake itself. Taking a boat tour around the lake is incredibly pleasant.

This hotel is in a small island and from the parking lot they will pick you up with a small cart. There are different kind of rooms depending on the price. We had the cheapest one but trip promised they will give us an upgrading and do they did. We got a bedroom and living room with balcony and nice view of the lake. Breakfast has many choices. It is nice to walk around the island but there is nothing else around. All three hotel restaurants are quite expensive.
There is also an outdoor and indoor pool.

The hotel was a comfortable stay and the family room was spacious. It’s a short walk to the metro station and nearby convenience stores and restaurants. The housekeeper was very detailed. The hallway to our hotel room seems older, but our room had high ceilings. I did not like that the room next to us was a smoking room because that guest would smoke and leave their door open. They should put non smoking rooms next to each other to avoid this.

I was quite satisfied. The front desk was very attentive, even upgrading my room. They were accommodating to any requests I might have. There's also ample underground parking. It's right next to the street, but it's completely silent, which is great! Also, the hotel serves delicious food outside the entrance at night, which is very convenient!

The hotel is about a 30-minute drive from Wuyi North Station. Overall, the experience at this private hot spring hotel was very good.

[Strong] Facilities/Rooms/Private Hot Spring: The facilities are complete, the rooms are spacious and new, and fruit platters and drinks (free of charge) are prepared in advance. The private hot spring is open for 12 hours daily from 12 noon, and soaking in it is very comfortable. A suggestion: placing a wooden ladle next to the hot spring would be even better.

[Strong] Service: The staff are very friendly. A car will proactively pick you up from the entrance and take you to the lobby for check-in. You can also book a free singing bowl experience class. The hotel breakfast is also plentiful and of better quality than most hotels, and there are snacks available.

However, there are quite a few mosquitoes (there were mosquitoes even in 0℃ weather on New Year's Day [laughing emoji]). The location is a bit far from the city center, so food delivery is inconvenient and there are no convenience stores.

Overall, it's a good hotel and worth recommending.
