1. It's close to West Lake. Just cross the street and you're on Hubin Road Pedestrian Street. 2. The room was quite spacious and clean. 3. You can see West Lake from the top floor, but if you go too late at night, it might be locked. The first time I went, it was indeed too late and I didn't get to see it. 4. The room does show a bit of age, but the Chinese-style decor is actually quite comfortable.

This hotel is perfectly situated within the West Lake Scenic Area, less than a kilometer's walk from the Fish Watching at Flower Pond scenic spot. As I have a soft spot for rooms with terraces and courtyard-style architecture, I was immediately drawn to this hotel. From the moment I checked in, it was one pleasant surprise after another. The hotel itself is a feast for the eyes, with stunning views at every turn – charming courtyard landscapes, air as fresh as a natural oxygen bar, and even its own park with natural springs. Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows in my room revealed a breathtaking panorama that was truly invigorating. The hotel's garden views are every bit as impressive as those in the scenic area. The staff were warm, attentive, and very helpful in explaining nearby attractions. The hotel also boasts a gym, a swimming pool, and a spa, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The room itself was bright, spacious, and spotlessly clean. We even received a complimentary basket of snacks upon arrival. Overall, the stay was an excellent experience.

This hotel has a very unique history, and the overall feel is quite similar to Shanghai's Xijiao State Guest Hotel (both are products with political undertones). There's a lot of greenery, and it even has the '704 Scenic Spot'. The rooms are spacious enough, and the cleanliness is good. Mosquito coils are provided in the room, and the curtains are electric, so don't pull them manually. The only thing is that the room I stayed in, in the 'General's Building', didn't have a door between the bathroom and the bedroom. The morning light came in too early, brightening the bedroom as well. It would be great if they could renovate that in the future.

This resort is good only because of the very nice staff and very beautiful location. Room was not so clean, we had one chair and one small table in the room we didnt have chair and table on the balcony. You get just two bottles of water if you want more you must call them outside was so hot. Indoor swimming pool the water inside so cold. Outside is ok but opens at 3 afternoon.

This hotel, recommended by a friend, was indeed excellent. It's conveniently located right above a subway station, making transport a breeze. The room was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped, with attentive service. They offered unlimited water and two complimentary drinks. The super king-sized bed, at 2.4 meters, was incredibly comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guangzhou.

The service of the lady at the front desk was great. Even though I booked the wrong room type, she helped me upgrade it for free. The environment is beautiful and it is close to the highway, which is very convenient. It is worth recommending and I will stay in this hotel again next time.

The hotel is about a 30-minute drive from Wuyi North Station. Overall, the experience at this private hot spring hotel was very good.

[Strong] Facilities/Rooms/Private Hot Spring: The facilities are complete, the rooms are spacious and new, and fruit platters and drinks (free of charge) are prepared in advance. The private hot spring is open for 12 hours daily from 12 noon, and soaking in it is very comfortable. A suggestion: placing a wooden ladle next to the hot spring would be even better.

[Strong] Service: The staff are very friendly. A car will proactively pick you up from the entrance and take you to the lobby for check-in. You can also book a free singing bowl experience class. The hotel breakfast is also plentiful and of better quality than most hotels, and there are snacks available.

However, there are quite a few mosquitoes (there were mosquitoes even in 0℃ weather on New Year's Day [laughing emoji]). The location is a bit far from the city center, so food delivery is inconvenient and there are no convenience stores.

Overall, it's a good hotel and worth recommending.
