Felt right at home! The concierge team, especially Xiao Hong and another gentleman, were incredibly patient and attentive. Jingjing at the front desk was very thoughtful, and the housekeeping staff adjusted the bedding, vacuumed promptly, and even helped dry my clothes.

Even though it's an older hotel, the service is truly top-notch, and the location is fantastic. If the prices stay reasonable, I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

The concierge team also told me that bus route 7 right outside goes directly to Lingyin Temple.

And the restaurant on the 8th floor offers panoramic views of West Lake!

The hotel environment is absolutely wonderful! There's a shallow pond in front of the lobby with beautiful, charming goldfish. The lawn is neatly manicured and pleasant to look at. Behind that, there's a lake with lotus flowers just about to bloom, and white geese swimming around leisurely. From the room, you can see misty hills, which adds a unique charm. The staff I encountered were all very warm and polite, and the room was clean and well-organized. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and quiet; in the mornings, I'd occasionally hear the calls of cuckoos, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

The air conditioning in the room was old and barely working. I called guest services, and they said it was a central AC system and they'd adjust it for us. It's frustrating when they say they'll adjust it but don't actually do anything. Why not just say it can't be adjusted instead of trying to fool me? I called guest services again, quite annoyed this time, and they sent a technician. They were banging around for over half an hour past 9 PM, which made it impossible to relax. Eventually, the AC was somewhat usable and much colder. So, it really was an issue with the room's AC not cooling properly. The next guests will be lucky, as someone has already endured the struggle. I wasn't happy with my stay.

My stay at the Qiandao Lake Cozy Island Resort was a fantastic experience. The hotel facilities are well-equipped overall, and the guest rooms are clean and tidy, with housekeeping doing an excellent job. The staff were thoughtful, warm, and very friendly and attentive.

I even received a complimentary fruit platter, which was a lovely touch. The in-house dining was delicious; the Chinese-style fish head soup I tried was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The daily amenities are also extensive, with a wide variety of free breakfast options in the morning and a pleasant outdoor BBQ experience available in the evening.

The hotel is located on an island, offering a tranquil and peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle. The overall atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing, making it an ideal choice for a leisure vacation.

This hotel, recommended by a friend, was indeed excellent. It's conveniently located right above a subway station, making transport a breeze. The room was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped, with attentive service. They offered unlimited water and two complimentary drinks. The super king-sized bed, at 2.4 meters, was incredibly comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guangzhou.
