The location is great, nestled in an alley off a lively street, just a 5-minute walk from Karon Beach.

The hotel is large and beautiful, with several pools, a children's play area, a spa, and lots of trees and flowers – perfect for a vacation. There's a shuttle service for getting around. The breakfast is mainly Western, and it's delicious.

The staff are all very kind and friendly, always ready to help. The concierge was especially helpful with carrying luggage, booking taxis, finding drivers, and making calls – truly excellent service.

The only thing I wasn't happy about was a young, white female staff member at the front desk. She was polite, but she gave me a connecting room. We were indeed two families, so if we were to get connecting rooms, they should have been for both of our families together. Instead, she put us on different floors, and only my room was a connecting one. The child next door cried non-stop all night, making it impossible to sleep. I don't understand why she did that. Thankfully, the other front desk staff promptly moved me to a different room later that night.

1. The location is genuinely inconvenient. The hotel's shuttle bus smells terrible, like strong gasoline, and its arrival time is completely hit or miss; sometimes you wait over ten minutes.
2. So many bugs! Who understands the feeling of seeing a huge cockroach in the middle of the night when going to the bathroom...? It was enormous, just like the ones in Guangdong. There were even small centipedes.
3. The wooden planks by the pool are warped and haven't been repaired. There's a sharp nail protruding from the ground right next to the escalator, and I stepped on it, causing my foot to bleed profusely. Definitely wear shoes when getting out of the pool!
4. I requested a room with a good view, but they gave me one completely blocked by trees, with no sea view at all. Do they even read guests' requests?
5. The room card constantly demagnetizes. I always have to go to the front desk for a new one. Sometimes I'd return late at night and couldn't open my door, then couldn't find any staff, and eventually, a patrolling security guard had to help me find someone. It was a very frustrating experience.
6. The path to the pool is really primitive, very hot, and full of bugs. There are also reefs below, and my friend slipped directly on one. You have to be very careful when walking there.
7. The water quality is exceptionally poor and very yellow, but the showerhead isn't the kind you can replace.
8. The plugs are extremely loose. Two of them didn't even work until someone came to fix them.

Overall, there were a lot of issues, but the staff were patient in trying to resolve them. However, perhaps if I hadn't chosen this hotel, I wouldn't have had so many problems...

In summary, it's suitable if you plan to stay put at the hotel and not go anywhere else, as the hotel offers services like room service and a spa. If you're looking for a long-term stay to slowly soak in the atmosphere, it might be suitable. But if you're coming for a tourist trip, I strongly advise against it. The service is truly hit-or-miss and hard to rate.

A decent option, with a fantastic location. It's just a 2-minute walk to the beach, and the pool is open 24/7 with plenty of sun loungers. The grounds are cleaned early every morning, keeping everything spotless. There are tons of restaurants, markets, and massage parlors nearby. The rooms are very spacious, though they haven't seen a renovation in a while, and have huge balconies on all sides. Room cleaning isn't great, but that's a tiny drawback. The staff are very responsive at any time of day. For a beachfront property, the price-quality ratio is simply amazing!

The room layout and the view from the window were superb, directly facing the ocean – absolutely breathtaking. The air conditioning worked great and was really cool, unlike some earlier reviews that mentioned noise issues. There was also a large ceiling fan.

The staff were all incredibly friendly, always greeting us warmly. Breakfast was also quite good. I'd read reviews saying it was too 'Western,' but there was actually Chinese congee, side dishes, salted duck eggs, mini fried dough sticks, and noodles, among other things. Plus, there was a dedicated section for Indonesian dishes. The fruit selection was decent too, mainly watermelon, honeydew, papaya, jackfruit, and oranges. Overall, breakfast was very rich and varied. The hotel grounds are expansive with multiple pools to suit different needs. It felt almost like a private beach – uncrowded and clean.

The hotel is a bit older, so manage your expectations. The water quality isn't the best, and the shower pressure was quite low. While the hotel provides bottled filtered water, I felt more comfortable buying my own bottled water. The Italian restaurant on-site was delicious, and it was nice to enjoy some cold beer there. You can also order food and drinks via Grab and have them delivered to the lobby. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

After all, when you're traveling, a good mood makes everything better!

The hotel's spa was fantastic! My child and I had a 90-minute parent-child spa session that left us wanting more. Highly recommended.

The hotel is good overall, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there were a few issues during my stay. The washbasin in the room had some problems, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the room was located far from the reception area, and I had to take a shuttle bus to get there, which made it less convenient when going back and forth. With a few improvements, this could be a great place to stay.

Having stayed at many Centara hotels, a local hotel group, I can confidently give this one a five-star rating! This villa is their newest property, featuring a modern, circular design. The ground floor consists of pool villas, though the pools aren't huge. The resort also has a regular hotel in a high-rise building, and another tropical rainforest-style resort (which isn't listed on Ctrip). All three hotels share facilities, including five fantastic swimming pools! I didn't have time to experience the spa. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and even had Eggs Benedict! Villa guests enjoy complimentary afternoon tea and cocktails. The gym offers great views, and there's a Starbucks right next door. Upon check-in, I downloaded their app, which I used to order water and other items directly. The resort has many other facilities and daily activities that I didn't get a chance to experience. This resort is a destination in itself; you could easily spend your entire trip just relaxing here. The beach is less than a ten-minute walk away, but the waves are quite big, so it's more for surfing than swimming. Unlike domestic hotels, the white cloth slippers provided by this hotel group are not disposable. They are cleaned, disinfected, and reused ♻️. The bellhops at the entrance were very proactive in helping with luggage, arranging a taxi, and even taking a photo with me. I tipped them a little for their excellent service.

Facilities: The room was quite spacious, and the bedding was excellent. The facilities were of high quality and the decor was very upscale, with great attention to detail. 
Cleanliness: It was clean and tidy, and the towels were white, but the bath towels were thin and a bit stiff.
Service: The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and they even gave me a Sky.ar experience card.
Environment: It's very convenient for getting around and shopping nearby.

I had a very comfortable stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—they always helped me track my drivers to see where they were and took care of bringing my luggage up to the room. The room itself and the overall environment felt very cozy and relaxing.
The only minor downsides were outside the hotel. When walking out, there is a section of the road that has a strong, unpleasant odor, which smells like a drainage issue. Also, the shopping mall downstairs feels quite outdated and deserted, and the nearby 7-Eleven is a bit too small with limited options.
Overall, the hotel itself is great, but the immediate neighborhood could use some improvement.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The breakfast is delicious, and the location is excellent. It's great for getting to golf courses near Don Mueang Airport, and also convenient for heading into the city for fun. Plus, there's a direct highway connection to Suvarnabhumi International Airport, which makes it really convenient and good. It's my favorite place to stay in Bangkok!

This was booked for my friends and he was happy too with the choice, being central and nearby walk to many old Bangkok spots, quick access to China town. Also 10 min cab to Palace . Hotel was helpful, bed was soft, room was clean . Breakfast could be better. There were plenty items but mostly cheaper options. Bread and bakery were very basic. could have been better . can stay again.

The hotel looks new and clean. The staff service is standard, neither good nor bad. The room layout is well-proportioned and not cramped. Room amenities are provided, though perhaps not as comprehensive as a 5-star international chain hotel. For instance, there's no toothbrush and toothpaste set in the Premier King room. I booked it with breakfast for around 2,800 baht, but I can't say if other room types have similar facilities or not.

However, just one night before, I stayed at Centara Life... in Bangkok. This hotel's room, air conditioning, and bed are superior. The service here is also better, with no negative points. The breakfast is clearly much better here, with more options and looking more appealing than the same brand's offering in Bangkok. What I appreciate most is the cleanliness of both the room and the hotel's public areas. There's a 1,000 baht security deposit, which can be paid in cash or credit card guarantee. Bank transfers are likely not accepted, which is understandable, even though many 5-star hotels don't charge a deposit. The only minor criticism I have is during checkout, the staff asked for the receipt to refund the deposit. I secretly wondered if I wouldn't get my money back if I couldn't find it, as my partner said it was probably left in the car. Honestly, for a 4-5 star hotel, customers shouldn't be burdened with keeping or presenting such a receipt, should they? Personally, I think the staff was right to ask, but this system feels a bit old-school. I'd expect this at a daily rental apartment or guesthouse, not a hotel of this caliber, allowing customers to walk back to their car to find a 1,000 baht deposit receipt to get their money back.

Another minor point, though it would be good if addressed, is that the staff seemed a bit stiff. I didn't notice it upon check-in, but when my partner and I walked past four staff members after dinner, all of whom saw us, none of them thanked or greeted us. I didn't really expect it, especially when staying in a provincial area that might not have as many large hotels as major cities like Bangkok, Pattaya, or Phuket, where service industry competition is high. The staff might be locals, so expecting a very high level of service mind comparable to what the hotel's standard should be might be unrealistic.

Nevertheless, overall, this hotel is quite good across the board. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to friends and acquaintances. Thank you very much, and if I have the opportunity to pass through Ratchaburi again, I will definitely come back to stay. Thank you! ❤️🙏

There's both indoor and outdoor parking, but no staff to assist with parking. 

On the day I checked in, I got a room upgrade, but I suspect it was more about keeping guests in the same building. The exterior areas felt a bit old and not very clean, but the room itself was clean. The bed was soft and comfortable, making for a good night's sleep, but the bathroom had a strange smell from the fixtures. In the pool area, they played music with a DJ during the day, and the rooms weren't soundproof. 

During my stay, there were three tour groups, so it was quite crowded. This meant a lot of guests came for breakfast in the morning, and the dining area felt cramped and insufficient for the number of people. The management was quite poor. Breakfast was served until 10:30 AM, but when I arrived at 9 AM, I had to wait for a table because all of them were full. I finally got a table at 9:30 AM, but by then, some food items were already gone and weren't refilled. I was really disappointed with the dining service. They should manage it better, and for me, the food wasn't very tasty either.

We chose a two-bedroom suite for our family trip to Pattaya. It was great, as the two rooms were connected and had three large beds, easily accommodating 5-6 people. Centara is a well-known company in Thailand, and the hotel's location is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants right outside. Terminal 21 shopping mall is also only about a kilometer away. Aside from the slightly dated facilities, everything else was perfect. Even though there were many Indian guests, it didn't bother us at all.

Overall, the service and everything else was satisfactory. However, I'd like to provide some feedback:
1. There was a thick layer of dust under the bed, as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.
2. The bathroom had a pungent chemical smell.
3. The shower didn't drain properly, leaving standing water on the tile floor.
