I booked a premium room but was very disappointed with the experience. The highlight (or lowlight) was the “view” from my room, which directly overlooked the busy hotel lobby instead of anything scenic or relaxing.

Other major issues included electrical sockets—4 out of 5 didn’t work at all—and completely unreliable WiFi. It showed as connected but provided no internet access whatsoever, which was frustrating for our first trip as a couple.

The breakfast buffet was also underwhelming. The Western section had just a few pieces of bread with very limited options overall.
Would not recommend this hotel for the price point.

The only downsides to this room type were its small size and lack of a window; otherwise, everything was perfect. The room was clean and hygienic, hot water was plentiful, the bed was comfortably firm, and the free breakfast was extensive. All the hotel staff were incredibly warm and hospitable, providing great emotional value. Plus, the nearby old-school restaurant, Huayang Restaurant, has amazing food! 👍 Next time I'm in Shenzhen, I'll definitely stay here again.

Business trip, very comfortable stay, the front desk check-in was fast, the front desk Xiaowen service was very good, the hotel facilities and equipment are complete, the environment is very good, the sanitation is very clean, business trips often choose here, the breakfast is also very good.

I went to Ganzhou for a music festival, and the hotel was relatively close to the Bird's Nest stadium. Before check-in, the hotel called to ask about my arrival time. They even upgraded my room for free and prepared a small gift for the music festival – very thoughtful! I arrived quite late, and the receptionist, Ms. Zhong, was incredibly warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. The hotel room was also very clean; I was very satisfied!

The room is clean, the layout is reasonable, the wet and dry separation, the room facilities are relatively new, and the night is not noisy and quiet.

This time staying at Grand Skylight Hotel was great! The location of the hotel is excellent and convenient to travel. The lobby decoration is very stylish, the front desk staff is warm and thoughtful, and the attitude is good. Butler service is also very good, responsive, people feel particularly warm. The room is warm and comfortable, the children's comic cartoon sheets, the bedding is soft and clean, and the sleep is stable. The bathroom is also clean and odorless, and the toiletries are all available. You can also park for free, the overall price is super high, and you will not hesitate to choose here next time you travel. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Great location, very clean lobby and room, friendly staff. The only gripe I have is smoking is somewhat allowed. The initial room I was given smelled strongly of cigarette. However front desk staff quickly help changed a room, which still has a tinge of cigarette smell but was much better. The bar fridge is switched on only when needed. But when I open the fridge, the super strong cigarette smell came out and hit me instantly. There are also guests who smoke at the walkway and at lift lobby. This alone is bad. Everything else is great, no complaints.

The top recommendation for local hotels, but the experience is average.

🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene:
The sound insulation is poor, normal conversations outside the room can be clearly heard, drainage sounds can be heard from time to time in the shower room, and construction noise from the construction site outside the window can be heard in the room. The toilet is clogged.
Hygiene is acceptable.

🏘️️️Room type/layout:
If you want a non-smoking room, the front desk said that the hotel has all non-smoking rooms, but you smell smoke as soon as you enter the room. After changing rooms, you still see the ashtray, but there is no smoke smell.
