It's a great hotel. Room is big enough, clean well equipped. It offers real coffee and shower gel shampoo hand soap and complimentary cookies are all nice. On top of it, on the third floor there's a sauna/bathhouse, which is also kind of gorgeous, when I went there I had the whole place to myself. 

The only thing to mention is, that Linkou district is not exactly Taipei. For the ones who want to travel to Taipei city centre, the distance is definitely worth considering. But MRT station isn't far and the train ride takes about 30 minutes and bus about 1 hour. But yeah, it's far by all means.

This was our first stay here since the renovation, and we were a party of three, including an elderly guest. The room was nice, and the beds were comfortable. I think families with young children would especially appreciate it.

The hotel no longer provides amenities like slippers, which you have to purchase downstairs. It's best to bring your own.

I have a couple of suggestions:
1) For the breakfast buffet, I suggest covering the food dishes to keep them warm and prevent anything from falling in. I imagine that in winter, the food would get cold very quickly.
2) I noticed that the dining floor can be accessed without a key card. Considering the hotel's location, I think the hotel should pay more attention to security, especially regarding unauthorized individuals.

hotel itself was very clean and posh, snacks and drinks in the room were all complimentary. 

loved the location as the train station itself had express line and commuter line making it easy for me to get to the airport and to NTSU Arena for concerts, would definitely book here again in future!

there is 7-11 nearby and a 24hour carrefour within walking distance.

Hotel is located in the newly developed area. Nearby Shabu Restaurant, Family Mart, Malls, Convenience Marts, Massage Centres. 
Hotel staffs are helpful and friendly. Food is delicious.

Highly recommended for business travellers and family.

I booked two rooms and requested to be in high floors and one next to the other and i also requested view to the ocean. I got the rooms in the 9th floor (of ten) and the rooms were one next to the other, and the view we had in our rooms were just mind blowing, the sunsets was just priceless.

Something to note is that some paid amenities/services offered by the hotel are really expensive, way much more than the average standard. For example the hotel rents out bicycles and the price is just super high, and as a hotel guest you get a small discount, but still feel super overpriced, rooms are not cheap and i feel the bicycles should be free for guests.

Other paid amenities like kids playground, are also very expensive compared to other places with similar playgrounds. The hotel has one kids playroom which is for free, but is very simple compared to the one that is paid.

Also need to note that next to the beds, there is not household plug, but rather two USB plugs. It is good idea,  but the problem is that nowadays much phones comes with USB-C cable (on both ends), but the plug offered by the hotel is USB-A so i had to charge my phone and tablet in the bathroom, as i only had USB-C cables on both ends.

Fullon Hotel Taipei 2 was truly a perfect stay! The hotel was clean and tidy, with complete and well-maintained facilities. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, allowing for relaxation. The staff were friendly and attentive, and check-in and check-out were very quick. They also proactively provided local tourist information to make the trip smoother. The location is convenient, close to Shenkeng Old Street, making it easy to go out and enjoy local cuisine. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely stay again. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei or Shenkeng!

Zoo. Maokong Gondola. Bus 236... Old Street. Don't take buses starting with 1 or 2! Taking the bus is very convenient!

Let me start with the advantages. Guests can use the underground parking lot for free. The double room is large, the bed is very comfortable, there are many TV channels, and there are welcome snacks.
The downside is that the air conditioning in the room had problems when we checked in. It was very cold, and the service staff couldn't handle it. They pushed the electric heater over, but it didn't work very well. And because we had children living with us, we were afraid they might get burned, so we returned it after using it once. We reported the situation to the service staff again and asked to change rooms. The service staff agreed to change rooms, but actually said that it might still be just as cold. I personally think that this way of expression is not appropriate, so we asked that the air conditioning in the changed room must be normal. Finally, after the service staff accompanied us to confirm that there was no problem with the changed room, we changed rooms. Everything returned to normal and we could relax and rest.

My recent stay truly exemplified the high standards and warm hospitality one expects from a five-star hotel. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation links, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure vacations. Upon arrival, the grand and elegant lobby immediately made an impression. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, handling everything from check-in to luggage storage with professionalism and meticulous care, instantly putting me at ease.

The room's overall design was both modern and cozy, featuring a spacious and bright layout that felt incredibly well-thought-out. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, with exceptionally clean linens, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. A full range of high-quality toiletries was provided, showcasing the hotel's thoughtful attention to guest comfort. Both the soundproofing and air conditioning system were in perfect working order, allowing for complete relaxation.

The dining experience was equally impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of fresh and delicious options, catering to both Western and Asian tastes, satisfying diverse guest preferences. The restaurant environment was elegant, and the staff were friendly and proactive in assisting guests, which further enhanced the dining experience.

Furthermore, the hotel's recreational facilities were top-notch. Both the gym and swimming pool were spotlessly clean and equipped with modern amenities. The staff consistently provided service with a smile, making me feel truly at home. Special mention must be made of the hotel's thoughtful little touches, such as welcome fruit and considerate weather forecast cards, which added a wonderful sense of warmth to my stay.

Overall, this is a hotel that truly lives up to its five-star rating. From its hardware facilities to service quality, and from the ambiance to the meticulous care in every detail, everything was impeccable. I will undoubtedly choose this hotel again on my next visit to the area and will enthusiastically recommend it to friends.

Okaish hotel, a bit wore down, so the reality will be a bit more dull compared to the pictures. Nothing big to complain about, except maybe for the fact that the gym and spa are closed on mondays. I ended up leaving one day earlier, which was a difficult undertaking. The hotel reception immediately agreed to shorted the stay, but Trip Support was constantly getting rejections from some central hotel authority, so it took 4 attempts to shorten the stay to get a refund.
